Im glad to announce an available development version which enables wireless play for 1.00 and 1.50 users.
This way you will be able to play against other psp users using same access point or trought internet agains other unix/mac/windows/psp users, enjoy.
Im also hosting two servers "friendly" for psp users, anyway you can also play on any "normal" pc server, but some of them use custom graphics, huge maps or other features not fully supported on PSP. Servers are:
* OpenTTD for PSP players Europe
* OpenTTD for PSP players USA
I have managed to play fine against pc users on a 256x512 map containing 3 companies with 54 trains, 30 planes and 43 road vehicles.
Dont forget to visit http://openttd.teamjak.net to keep updated.
Remember this is a development version, so it could not work as expected, please report any not known issue.
Known issues:
* Access point selection interface is nasty
* Connection lost, isnt tolerated
* Servers window is to big to fit on screen
* It gets disconnected from some high load servers
* Doesnt have keyboard support
* Not tested with dhcp connections
* Some others i should be forgetting
Usage Notes:
* To change your network name, you must edit your openttd.cfg file and change the 'player_name' value
* To play this release using wireless you must start it with network switch enabled, or load with switch disabled to play singleplayer.
* Most of times you should increase cpu speed by pressing "start + R trigger"
* Playing maps bigger than 512x512 isnt recommended
* Poor wireless signal means getting dropped on multiplayer games
* Please report
Download
Please read the README and this noticie before asking about installation or any issue.

PSMonkey has again posted an update on the status of his Nintendo64 Emulator for the PSP, heres what he posted tonight:

Well after some back and forth I figured a few things out. For some reason I dont need to byteswap the pif ram where pc emulators do. So with this and a few corrections I got input working. Even better is the fixing of SI transfer now keeps a few homebrew games from crashing.
So here are some screenshots of Pong by omar, Liner (I dont understand the point of this game), Manic Minor & MM hiden levels (oddly enough its very dark), & the wonderful n64 logo returns from waverace (do note that no comercial games run, this just this logo shows up since it draws to the framebuffer with no use of the rsp/rdp). Anyways enjoy. More updates to come when more progress is made.

Check out the screenshots at his site here -> http://nemo.dcemu.co.uk/

It's kind of becoming this sick fascination, a gadgety train wreck, if you will, constantly wondering about the status of the PlayStation 3, and whether it'll launch in any reasonable time frame to compete with the Xbox 360 in ours, the US market. Well, according to a Sony Computer Entertainment Japan spokesman who spoke to Kyodo News, the PlayStation 3 could be delayed until fall due to a "failure to set the specifications of the Blue-ray [sp] DVD technology," by the end of 2005, as reported by the AFP. We're not sure whether this refers to the AACS delays we saw last week, but if so they've really got nothing to worry about since the AACS forum all but announced an interim plan so as not to delay anyone's launches. And if not, well, it's their format and their own damn fault -- either way, according to Hirokazu Hamamura, president of Enterbrain Inc. in Japan, had an interesting thing to say: "Sony has not begun taking orders early this month, that means that it would be difficult for the company to begin sales in May." Well, there you go, then.

Finally we are back in buisness, i took the rather boring task of getting the links to all PSP homebrew releases for the PSP, so now on the main site we have all the links to everything released.
Because of so many releases, the Lua section (Games, Demos and Apps), Homebrew Demos and PSP Magazines all have a seperate page for them now.
The Homebrew Games and Apps section on the left hand cloumn is now massive and we will stay as up to date as humanly possible.
after going through 18 sites i need a cuppa tea (or booze)

Source - Gamespot
Midway is set to put the pedal to the metal again this fall, as the company has revealed the first details on Rush for the PSP, the latest in its long line of California-based cruising games and the first for Sony's handheld.
Like last year's L.A. Rush, the PSP Rush will include a story mode set in a shortcut-laden City of Angels, which will feature more than 50 rides (at least 36 of them licensed), some of them downright pimped-out rides courtesy of West Coast Customs. However, Rush will also include some extras, including 30 new cruise missions, a hip-hop and rock soundtrack with new tracks from Lil' Kim and Twista, and the ability to play any cruise mission with another player by way of the PSP's Wi-Fi capabilities.
Also featured on the PSP Rush will be stunt arena and battle race modes. The latter mode will let players go head-to-head with each other in a power-up-propelled race to the finish, while the stunt arena calls upon players to launch their cars off ramps and sail through the air performing various twists and turns before (hopefully) landing on all four wheels. As in the stunt mode in the Dreamcast version of San Francisco Rush 2049, golden tokens that unlock extra content in the game will be placed amid the mayhem.
Rush for the PSP is set for release in September .
