French Magazine for PSP gets an update, heres whats new via translation:
"The mobile versions of SANQUA Experience 16 are released! There is, I believe something like 131 pages in this version for PocketPC and PSP. It is always at the same place, close to the dustbins, that you will find them . Will SANQUA Experience 17 leave soon, but when? Ca will be a surprise, with you to return regularly... or register you with the service of Alarm. This 17 will buckle the Experience cycle for good. Possible recruitments are more favourable between two cycles, if you are thus interested, do not delay with us to make share of it."

NJ has updated his NeoGeoCD Emulator for the PSP, heres whats new:
slightly dodgy translation of news via worldlingo follows:
Modification point: 0.2.1
24bit correcting the trouble which has been frozen with PNG picture reading of the color.
Modification point: 0.2.0
The picture of the background and the load picture such as menu was modified in PNG type.
The 8bit color (256 colors) or the 24bit color (is converted to the 16bit color) the picture is enabled.
Logo.Png/loading.With the file name, png, EBOOT.Please put on the same folder as PBP.
Support of BMP type was the intention of leaving for a while, but modifying schedule, 0.2.It abolishes with 0
It did.
Because the method of acquiring the date of the system of PSP is finally ascertained, renewing the state data
It did. Date/the time which is indicated in PSP is recorded that way.
0.1.It is change of the controller which is added with 9, but each time opening from the menu, as for choosing
Because with the grapple game and the like time is required a little when you practice making use of VS mode,
The prayer change button was added to キーコンフィグ. (Most Switch Player under)
BIOS when starting when it sleeps. When closing the menu, correcting the trouble which has been frozen.
Problem of freezing is thought with this that it was cancelled completely.
Battery it tried to indicate the remaining amount in the menu.
Battery the remaining amount remained and when decreasing, tried to indicate warning message.
Game picture before the renewing in order to clear the whole picture, it corrected.
Zlib 1.2.It renewed to 3.
* It was the schedule which also the adjustment of VSYNC does, but for the time being it came to the point of waiving.
While with respect to related to operation time, reading the file little by little with the playback of MP3, doing decoding
It is, but when this reading occurs in VBLANK, depending on the load of reading
It seems that picture renewal processing occurs the disorder of the picture lately.
(Unless there is CDDA playback and with is with it tries comparing opening demonstration of ブリキンガー it is understood well
With you think. Cancelling frame limit with 333MHz, when it executes, even with MP3 playback to be, 150% or more
Because speed appears, it is found that it is not problem of operation time. )

<blockquote>Well we are all by now aware of how popular gang related videogames are. This is mostly down to Rockstar’s superb GTA series and the hundreds of less impressive spin-offs it spawned.
It's also down to our deep fascination with gangs and gangland culture, from the Sicilian Mafia family of the Godfather movies (and forthcoming EA game) to the 19th Century Irish Gangs of New York and the very English fascination with East End gangland characters such as the Kray twins and Michael Caine’s Jack Carter, in SPOnG’s all time favourite UK gangster flick, Get Carter.
So knowing all too well the public’s craving for all things gangland, Sony has cannily just announced a new gangbusting PSP title called, not so imaginatively, Gangs of London. It’s basically The Getaway for PSP.
Gangs of London is being developed by SCEE's own London Studio, and is described as an “all-new spin-off title” taking the setting and criminal themes of the Getaway franchise and mixing em up to produce a “whole new handheld gang warfare experience”.
In the game you play as one of five gangs and, according to Sony’s release, “you have to use brains and brawn to overcome the rival criminal factions and gain control of the city's underworld”.
If you are growing tired of life as a decent tax-paying, law-abiding Londoner (or wherever you should dwell) then this could well be the handheld gangster game you’ve been waiting for. In a nod to the multi-ethnic nature of today’s criminal underbelly in the capital, a cancer slowly eating away at the heart and soul of a once great city, the game gives you the opportunity to “become the guv'nor of the Cockney, Triad, Yardie, Russian or Pakistani gangs and take on the capital over a number of unique and challenging game modes.”
There are times when SPOnG would rather be Taxi Driver and get a chance to blow this scum off the streets. But then that would be a different game entirely. Called Taxi Driver.
So, back to Gangs of London, you put together a gang of ne’er do wells and set out in your quest to become London’s Mr Big. The core game is an action, mission-based game with each mission being connected by a graphic-novel style narrative. You control a team of gangsters who race and drive and shoot their way around 60 missions. What’s more, you can ‘hot-swap’ between different characters in real-time, issue commands to other gang members and replay the missions from different gang’s perspectives. Plenty there then to keep even the laziest gangster busy.
There is also a secondary turn-based strategy game, called 'Gang Battle' – supposedly a cross between a board game and poker – where you play on an interactive map on which you must commit your criminal forces to attack or defend patches of London
Taking on up to four other gamers on a single PSP (or against the PSP’s AI) your moves in Gang Battle are made blind and players' hitherto secret actions unfold simultaneously at the end of each turn, with scope for poker-style bluffing as you scheme your way to becoming Mr Big.
There's also a ton of other options and mini-games including ‘Free Roaming’, which is pretty much self-explanatory; ‘Tourist Mode’, where you get to play a big blobby ‘Mercan Tourist complete with massive camera taking pics of London tourist attractions; plus a Taxi Driving mode – where you get to try out a portable take on the Knowledge.
Perhaps you could be a psychotic taxi driver on a criminal-killing spree after all! We’ll just have to wait and see when the game comes out sometime 'later this year' according to the annoyingly-vague release.
And there's more, including a load of mini pub games on offer such as darts, pool and skittles. Cool, we think. Although we also think we have these games on our mobile phones and will never play them on those either.</blockquote>

<blockquote>Baseball season is nearly upon us, and if third-party publishers can't make an MLB game due to Take-Two Interactive's exclusivity deal, then let first-party publishers continue to do so. That said, Sony has released MLB '06: The Show for both the PS2 and PSP with some critics calling it a worthy replacement for EA's MVP series. Here's what the reviewers are saying with a Game Rankings composite score of 84% at the time of writing:
GamePro 80% - "Because the game engine is basically the same, we see just about all the same hitting and fielding animations in The Show, with fielding animations near top-notch in the baseball genre. The fluidity with which fielders can step on a bag and throw, or make running throws for that matter, is surprisingly realistic and accurate."
GameDaily 90% - "MLB 06 features the best commentary in a sports game, period, but it's also loaded with cool animations as well, so players make less awkward catches. But beyond the actual games there's also a hell of a lot of modes to play around with, such as King of the Diamond, the all new Rivalry mode, a retooled Franchise mode, and the ability to play as the Cooperstown legends."
Yahoo! Games 80% - "After all the small additions and mode debuts, it's also nice to see that Sony has finally started to apply some moxie to the online aspect of baseball. The new lobbies, matchmaking, and friend lists are all excellent, as is the option to play King of the Diamond online."</blockquote>

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim and Street Supremacy now shipping to stores around the country.
Konami is bolstering the PlayStation Portable catalog today with a pair of new offerings. The publisher has announced that it shipped the head-to-head racer Street Supremacy and the action role-playing game Ys: The Ark of Napishtim to stores nationwide.
The latest edition of the Tokyo Highway Battle series, Street Supremacy lets gamers try to become king of the road through various game modes, including a team battle mode in which rival crews claim turf through winning races or sending opponents into walls. The game features licensed cars from manufacturers such as Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Subaru, as well as the ability to modify rides with paint jobs, spoilers, exhausts, and other new parts.
Meanwhile, The Ark of Napishtim, a PSP port of the PlayStation 2 role-playing game of the same name, follows the exploits of redheaded hero Adol Christin. When Adol is swept up in the Great Vortex and dropped off on an unknown series of islands surrounded by mysterious whirlpools, he must fight his way back home. Besides shrinking the adventure down for the small screen, the PSP version also sports a number of exclusive features, including minigames, a character profile database, and a media player.

News from Lik Sang
After the recent remake success of Megaman Maverick Hunter X on PSP, Capcom have brought back another classic in the almost 20 year old series, this time the very first Megaman game. Absolutely jam packed with features, to begin with you can choose to play in classic or new style mode, offering the best of both worlds. Each with 3D graphics, classic mode stays true to the original's gameplay, while the new style has different level layouts, plus two entirely new levels and bosses themselves, Oil Man and Time Man.

Then what fans will surely go crazy over is that you can build your own levels, and what's more share them online! Capcom also added cinematics and a proper narrative to the title, and remixed music. Far from being stuck in your robo-suit, you now have the ability to actually play as bosses after defeating them, and the Megaman Challenge Mode puts a fresh objective into all the levels. Don't let the cutesy big heads fool you, "Rockman Rockman" is still as tough as nails, and due in stock later this week.

News from Lik Sang
As Square Enix work towards releasing Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria late this year for the PS2, they've also been busy bees porting the incredible 1999 original from the PSOne to the PSP. Based on Norse mythology, you play Lenneth Valkyrie who collects the souls of those who die tragic deaths, then converts them into powerful soldiers ready for a final apocalyptic battle between the Æsir and Vanir, Ragnarok. Taking you back to the good old days, dungeons play out as 2D side scrolling affairs with non-random turn based fight scenes and a whole lot of magic. The fantastic fighting system was one of the reasons this game achieved such a cult following in the first place, and thankfully still holds up brilliantly today.

There's over 20 playable characters to be found, and as you progress through the adventure your strength builds up to a truly incredible amount, where later in the game you'll be dishing out damage points in the millions! The game has been re-designed to take full advantage of the PSP's 16:9 widescreen, and replacing the original static cut scenes are completely animated FMV sequences. Several brand new scenes also help tie this and upcoming prequel together. Coming late this week, even if you don't know Japanese, if you've played the original you can experience all the benefits of this PSP edition, and still understand the story.

Lik Sang have a big article on the release of Magical RPG Kingdom Hearts 2:
Now that there's less than a month to go till the US release of Kingdom Hearts II, we take a look at exactly why this game deserves your attention. Last December the Japanese edition came out to score a truly amazing 39/40 from Famitsu magazine, only a breath away from being just the sixth game ever to receive a perfect 40/40 in 20 years.
Selling 727,591 copies in its first week alone, there's no doubt the untouchable RPG experience of Square Enix combined with the magic of Disney resulted in one of the greatest team ups of videogame history. Rather than have their hands tied by a specific story from a certain movie, the developers were free to create an entirely new adventure including all of Disney's most famous works, not to mention a couple of Square's too! Due for release on March 28th, pre-orders can be placed anytime, and of course the game ships free worldwide.

Set after Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on the GBA, the original lead character Sora, and Disney comrades Donald and Goofy have slept for a solid year while regaining their lost memories. Waking up, Sora puts on some fresh clothes (we should hope so!) and continues on his quest to seal the keyholes of each world, protecting their innocence from the dark forces of the Heartless, Organization XIII and Nobodies. With a much more complex plot development than that of the original awaiting you, players of the GBA sequel will get the absolute most out of this title. The developers however have gone to great lengths to ensure you won't feel left out at all if you haven't played the portable adventure, and newcomers who missed both that and the first game need not worry either, you'll quickly be brought up to speed.
The original drew content from Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Tarzan, Aladdin, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Lion King, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, 101 Dalmatians, Beauty and the Beast, and more. Here there's more of those classics, plus Lilo & Stitch, Chicken Little, Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tron, The Return of Jafar, Fantasia and others. In fact they range all the way back to 1928's Steamboat Willie, which of course takes place in black and white.
Despite some movies being used again, every level is brand spanking new, often taking place in completely separate settings than before. For example instead of on the streets of Agrabah for Aladdin, you'll be exploring the Cave of Wonders. Some franchises like Beauty and the Beast and Mulan which were only represented with characters in the original have been fleshed out with entire worlds here too.
At least 16 different Final Fantasy characters will appear here, including Auron, Yuna, Rikku, Cloud Strife, Yuffie, Sephiroth and more. Taking on a larger role, Cloud also has his own side quest now, and each of the FF VII stars take their looks from the more recent Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie. The Disney side has its fair share of cameos too, such as Scrooge McDuck, Yen Sid from Fantasia, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty and a whole heap more.
The all star English voice cast is just as impressive as it was in the original, with almost all actors reprising their roles once again here. Highlights include the now 18 year old Haley Joel Osment, David Gallagher, Dan Castellaneta, Sean Astin, Mena Suvari, Christopher Lee, Rachael Leigh Cook, Jesse McCartney, Zach Braff and many others.
Moving onto gameplay, at certain times Reaction Commands will pop up, which with good timing let you pull off bonus attacks with different moves for specific situations. Also while you could summon characters in the first game, these play a larger part in this round, and you can bring in the likes of Peter Pan, the Genie from Aladdin, and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. Working together with his fellow team mates, Sora can now pull off linked attacks with each combination resulting in a different effect.
Also by merging with Donald or Goofy, Sora can unleash other styles of play. For example merging with Goofy has you wielding dual Keyblades with extra attacks, but takes away your ability to perform magic. On the other hand, intertwining with Donald greatly boots your magic, increases the length of your Keyblade, and has you gliding through levels instead of running. Or if you prefer the best of both worlds, what's known as the 'Master Form' can be achieved by all three characters joining, and along with two Keyblades you gain the ability to fly. Such power comes at a price however, as your drive bar will be drained faster. Lastly there's the 'Final Form', although we won't spoil that for you
Certain levels like Atlantica, and gameplay moments like summoning Stitch, will now make use of music and button coordination, again bringing new elements into the already winning gameplay. The soundtrack is also again composed by the brilliant Yoko Shimomura, famous for past titles like Super Mario RPG, Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve, Street Fighter 2 and more. Likewise even for this English edition, the Japanese pop music star Hikaru Utada returns for the new theme song "Sanctuary". We still have the full Japanese soundtrack in stock now, boasting almost 150 minutes of music across two discs.
As an RPG packed to the brim with memorable characters bursting with personality, this continues on the fantastic Kingdom Hearts style with that magical spark and humor that made the original such a fresh surprise. At the same time with all new levels and characters, advancements in gameplay and a deeper storyline, it's no wonder fans have been salivating for years over this. Eager to deliver the best experience they can too, Square Enix have greatly polished the game, right down to the little touches like individual themed command menus for each world. Games like this only come once in a while, but as players of the original will testify to, you remember them for years to come.

I have finnaly have gotten to the point where i can show some in-game screens... i still have to do some character editing ( have to get the full version of milkshape...just bought a brand new guitar ) but right now if i get a good soild week to myself...i can fix them.
The textures...and i know they arnt perfect...but i am trying... are taking time ( due to the fact that i cant seem to have a the real textures up....they seem to only show certain colors if i do a straight port of them... )
Still havent added the Pistol... but that will be soon... once i get the model done it will be easy to put the weapon in
Oh...there is one problem though... Since i added all these new textures and the models being huge and all, i have suffered a massive chug with a 4 player dm game.... so i am still trying to figure out a way to solve that problem
anyway...here are the screenshots... tell me what ya think.
Thanks for Everything,
PSPdemon
P.S. Thanks to PSmonkey, MGFox, Produkt, BrokenWing, and yaustar for thier help, guideance, and pictures to aid me in my project

Big news article from Lik Sang
It's about time that Sony's brilliant handheld gets its own Naruto title. Bandai holds responsible for Naruto Narutimate Portable (aka Mugenjo no Maki), which seems to turn into a revamped port of the very popular Narutimate Hero 3 which was released earlier on for PS2. Now, what can we expect from this first Uzumaki visit on PSP? Details are still somewhat scarce yet, still, looking at its PS2 counterpart and screenshots thrown to the media so far, Narutimate Portable is likely to become another perfect blend of Beat'em Up and RPG. A cel-shaded design was chosen to render the game a style as close as possible to its Anime origin. This PSP game ain't no mere handheld version of Narutimate Hero though: innovations include, above all, a cool multiplayer mode via Wi-Fi! Aiming for a release on March 30th, Naruto Narutimate Portable is already open for pre-orders and will ship for just US$ 59.90, eligible for our Free Shipping Worldwide promotion.

A Castle in the Heavens, an Evil Princess to defeat...
An interesting addition represents the exclusive story background of a mysterious citadel (dubbed "Infinite Castle") hovering in the skies above Ninja village Konoha. One of the game's modes (sort of a scenario option) will involve saving all village inhabitants from the castle princess Kirihime and all her enigmatic misdoings. Said citadel seems to absorb chakra energy from above, not something Naruto and his fellow fighters Sakura, Sikamaru, Ino and Choji will tend to ignore. Choji will likely revel in lots of opportunities to unleash his Nikudan Sensha (Meat Tank) technique, while Sakura can now show off what Kakashi has taught her in the past. How this plays out here still needs to be revealed, the potential lack of chakra for one thing, might provide an intriguing twist to fighting tactics. Judging by the screenshots available, we are in for explosive Beat'em Up action deluxe with a fascinating RPG story to boot.

An Exclusive Naruto PSP Bag for Pre-Orders
As has become common practise now for Bandai, for Naruto Narutimate Portable there will also be a cool bonus item in Japan for people who pre-order the game. This time it's no Ninja headband or another small trinket, instead you will be able to protect your PSP in style with a dedicated Naruto PSP bag, sporting the franchise logo. We at Lik Sang cannot guarantee the availability of this neat case for every single reservation, but we will do our utmost as usual to get our hands on as many as we possibly can for customers. Placing your pre-order right away sure will give you a better chance to secure you one of these elusive gifts.

A new commercial release for fans of Horse racing:

The second of Sony's portable horse racing simulation, including real horses and riders who appear under their actual names. Derby Time 2006 adds a number of new features over the original. You can now interact more closely with your horse, massaging it and giving it special food. The original allowed you to equip items to your horse; in 2006, you can equip up to three items from an expanded list. The game's scenario mode has seen some big changes, as you now select the scenario you'd like to play next. Included are "VS Scenarios," which take you through the storyline and "Free Scenarios," which have nothing to do with the main story.
