Source - Akihabara News
<blockquote>The PSP News from Akihabara News are officially included in Sony's RSS directory in the Media Manager 1.0 software since January 31st, thanks to a close collaboration with Sony Connect (Thanks A.D!).
For those of you who do not know what the PSP Media Manager 1.0 is, it's a software from Sony that allows you to manage your PSP and lets you transfer pictures, music and video feeds, but you can also manage your games and backups on your MS... so it's a must-have/use if you have a SPP. In the Feeds-section, you can manage content especially created for the PSP, just like our Akiba PSP News!
So how does it work? Very simple, once a PSP News is available on Akiba, it's automatically availble on the feed in your PSP Media Connect and the software automatically downloads the zip file of PSP news, extracts it and installs it onto your PSP... it could not be easier!
Only the English feed are available by default under "Cool Feeds" - "Magazines". To add the French feed, you just need to paste this link into the software:
http://www.akihabaranews.com/fr/index.php?page=pspnews
Also noteworthy is that you can be alerted automatically when a new PSP News is available by using the same feeds in a different RSS software.
Here's the link for the English feed:
http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/index.php?page=pspnews
And the link to the French feed:
http://www.akihabaranews.com/fr/index.php?page=pspnews

Gran Turismo 4 Online Edition is due out in Q2 2006 and will include six-player online play along with worldwide server rankings and replay upload options.
That's been leaked to us as part of a bundle of marketing documentation, which Sony has yet to comment on.
GT4 Online Edition will include 700 real cars (from classic to ultra-modern supercars), 50 real tracks, and split-screen options in addition to six-player online racing.
There'll also be voice communication support to chat with other drivers and customisable online competitions.
The docs also point to what's described as a huge single-player challenge, despite the game's obvious multiplayer leanings, with B-Spec and Photo modes making it over intact from GT4.
We'd expect to hear more about GT4 Online Edition in the very near future.

Sony's upcoming PSP version of Killzone is due out in November on both sides of the Atlantic, and features co-operative and online multiplayer options, according to a bundle of leaked Sony marketing documentation that the publisher has yet to comment on.
The third-person tactical shooter was confirmed by Sony recently (there's also a PS3 instalment in development, as you know!) and the documentation we've seen sheds more light on its content and positioning.
Due out on November 3rd in both the USA and PAL regions, it's set two months after the conclusion of Killzone, and sees players take control of Jan Templar again on a covert rescue mission to save hostages from new bad guy General Metrac, who uses captured VIPs as bargaining chips. Which isn't very nice.
The backdrop of the game is a new Helghast strategy - following the liberation of Vektar City - to capture southern island bases and use VIPs as leverage.
Beyond the single-player game, we're told to expect challenge modes, co-operative play, and multiplayer options through both ad hoc and infrastructure modes - so online play is a potential option.
What's more, the documentation points to "Gameshare" - i.e. the option to play using one UMD to some extent - as well as downloadable mission packs to follow up on the game's November release.
Expect to see Killzone: Liberation strutting its stuff at E3 this May.

Capcom has confirmed that it is to release Ultimate Ghosts 'n' Goblins for PSP this summer, and has sent us over a lovely selection of spooky screens.
The reworking of the classic 2D scrolling action game, previously known as Extreme Ghouls 'n' Ghosts, is being directed by the creator of the original game, Tokurou Fujiwara.
It sees the return of the heroic knight Arthur attempting to keep his suit of armour intact as he bounces and battles through hordes of supernatural enemies.
From the bunch of new screens that Capcom has provided, you can see that the presentation has been kept stubbornly 2D-simple, with only backgrounds giving the illusion of a third dimension.
Check out the source of this news and the screens here --> http://www.gamesradar.com/news/defau...sectionid=1591

Rex Hudler joins Matt Vasgersian and Dave Campbell for new Three-Man Booth commentary.
MLB '06: The Show for PlayStation 2 reports to camp with the new Game Time Decisions feature, providing scenarios in which users will need to take full control of their team and make game-winning decisions at critical times. The Hustle: Detroit Streets lets players take on the role of either Jack Stone or Kat Hudson as they make their way through the pool halls and clubs of Detroit. Players hone their pool skills and work their way to the top of the pool circuit through two different game modes - single-player story mode, playing as either Jack or Kat in their quest for respect and cash, or single-player single game, where they can practice their skills by playing one-off matches against AI opponents. Additionally, for the PSP system, players can play pool using multiplayer and multiplayer over Wi-Fi where they can try to run the table against other gaming pool sharks.
24 The Game US ver.

Based on the action-packed television series, 24: The Game is set between seasons two and three of the TV show and provides the answers to several unanswered questions: Who was really behind the assassination attempt on President Palmer? How did Kim Bauer get a job in the L.A. CTU? How did Jack Bauer and Chase Edmunds first start working together? Penned by 24 episode writer Duppy Demetrius and voiced by stars Kiefer Sutherland, Carlos Bernard, and Kiefer Sutherland, 24 boasts more than 100 missions told through several branching subplots. Gameplay includes on-foot sections (with shooting, stealth, puzzles, and sniping), driving sequences, interrogations, and technical challenges. The game even uses the unique visual style of the television show with multi-panel windows showing concurrent plot developments.

<blockquote>Monkey Present
Thanks to zilmar's help (of PJ64). I have fixed a few stupid mistakes I made in opcodes and starting register values (lol, n64 though it was in pal mode).
Anyways many more demos are now running but more bugs are stoping me further (most demos run 1-2 frames then hang or need more opcodes emulated).
So enjoy the shots and good times all around !!</blockquote>

Kristen Bell - Where you've seen her: As America's hottest private eye on UPN's Veronica Mars, Kristen plays 18-year-old Veronica. Even though Kristen is really 25. She dumps her little-girl image in our hot photo shoot. Autumn Reeser - Where you've seen her: She's the good girl everyone hates on Fox's guilty pleasure teen drama, The OC. FSU Cowgirls - Chrystal, Jenn, and Fabiola - Where you've seen them: ABC caught the barely dressed coeds cheering on Florida State against Miami, turning them into overnight Internet stars and inspiring plenty of guys to do the tomahawk chop.

Over in Japan, the UMD format may be about as hot as an Xbox running Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, but you can't blame game publishers for not trying. Bandai gave the format somewhat of a push this past week with the announcement of a UMD/game combo pack featuring one of the most popular animes of all time.
Joining the 4/27 PSP release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 2: Tsukurareta Sekai -- Another Cases will be Neon Genesis Evangelion: DECADE -- 10 Year Anniversary Memorial Box. This collectors box includes the PSP game disk and a two UMD disk set containing the two Evangelion theatrical films (Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion) and bonus footage. Pricing for the set is set at 10,500 yen, about double the game-only price of 5040 yen.
This set will be the only way to get Evangelion on the UMD format, according to Bandai. Those interesting in importing will want to be on the look out for the product under its Japanese name of Shinseiki Evangelion: DECADE -- 10 Shuunen Kinen Memorial Box.

You've probably heard by now about how Yukes came to the rescue of PSP fanatics who were screaming for their own dog simulation game to answer the DS's Nintendogs (but if this is news to you, see this story and promise to check IGNPSP every day from now on!). Today, we've got an update on The Dog - Happy Life, including the much anticipated dog list.
It turns out that The Dog - Happy Life is based off a license, appropriately known as The Dog (IGN's Japanese correspondent apologizes for the oversight, which probably wouldn't have happened had someone made a game about bunnies). For English details and universally cute pictures regarding the popular Japanese franchise, check out this pertinent link.
The PSP adaptation of The Dog will include sixteen dog types: Chihuahua, Labrador Retriever, French Bull Dog, Golden Retriever, Papillon, Border Collie, Dalmatian, Pug, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier, Beagle, German Shepherd, Shiba, Dachshund, Maltese and Poodle. In addition to raising one of these adorable pups, you'll get to take commemorative puppy pics that can be transferred to the PC and then to cell phones, allowing you to show off your new best virtual friend to the rest of the world. The girls will go crazy, boys!
Aside from the picture bit, we still don't have details on what forms of interaction The Dog - Happy Life will provide, although given the budget 2,940 yen price tag (not the mention the lack of a stylus), we're not expecting too much.
Puppy lovers stay tuned as the game's 4/27 Japanese release date approaches. A US release has yet to be announced.
