Just 2 weeks ago, we blogged about the new ME/LME-2 release, which added the Inferno driver and extended the recovery menu with a few more colors to choose from.
Today yet another update was made available, which adds some more often requested features to the famous ME & LME Custom Firmwares, which are currently the most popular ones.
Developer Rahim-US is currently on a coding spree!
He published yet another update for the ME & LME Custom Firmwares, to be specific – for firmwares 6.20, 6.39 and 6.60 – which adds the noDRM Engine and a protection against a few games, that can detect a Custom Firmware, and then refuse to start, save or load savedata files (The DJ Max Portable games are a few of those ones).
The new revision also fixes a rare savedata bug, that could occour if you switched between PRO and ME/LME at different firmwares (e.g. 6.20 PRO -> 6.60 LME, 6.39 LME -> 6.60 PRO, etc).
Not actually Custom Firmware changes, but Rahim-US also added an OFW Version installer for the 6.20 ME build and, even more important, he added another layer of protection to the ME CFW installers, which should now be able to detect the dangerous TA-088v3 motherboard at PSP 2000, to protect accidential bricking of said devices.
The 6.39 ME/LME-10 is equivalent to the 6.xx ME/LME-2 custom firmwares.
The previous check did only check for the devices generation (01g = 1000, 02g = 2000, 03g/04g/07g/09g = 3000s, 05g = N1000 [PSP Go] & 11g = E1000), which left room for detecting a TA-088v3 PSP 2000 as “supposed compatible”, which would then result in a fullbrick, if one actually installed the ME, instead of the LME, Custom Firmware, due to the custom IPL at one of these “doomed” PSP 2000s.
The new ME and LME Custom Firmwares are available for download now, and it is highly recommended to install said Custom Firmwares at your PSP devices, regardless if you are already running another 6.20, 6.39 or 6.60 Custom Firmware.
Stay tuned for potential more releases of the ME and LME CFWs, since Rahim might have one or two more ideas for these awesome Custom Firmwares!

Nifty Lifty is a game by Insoft.
All you have to do is navigate your way from the bottom floor of each level to the top floor. You’re on foot though because the lifts have security guards that are on the look out. After all you are a thief and you need to avoid being spotted by a aecurity guard too many times, if you fail to avoid being spotted too many times you will go to jail and it’s Game Over.
You’ll need to manoeuvre the thief along a series of floors being sure to avoid getting spotted by any of the security guards in the fast moving lifts as they whizz up and down. As the levels get harder so do the lifts, as they speed up as you progress threw the levels.
Every round has 16 levels, after the 16th level you will progress the the next round were all the levels you have just completed start over again but lifts now moving quicker than before. Every round the game gets quicker and harder to play.

I finally got around updated the configuration guide for the 1.2.1 release with all the new features and also adding some new plugins that most people don't know about You can check it out here as usual and you can find instructions on translating it to your language here.
I have also updated our netplay plugin DEV9giga-razi to include the latest fixes brought by two contributors in Git, MrColdbird and Bigpet whom we thank for their nice contributions. The plugin should crash much rarer than it did before, so we hope it will be usable for those who couldn't run it. You can get it at our windows plugins download section.
Finally, thanks to a lot of contributions from forum members (DESTRUIDOR,JBoughter,Altomar and many others), our compatibility list has been updated and expanded, so take a look to check if your game is working in the latest PCSX2 version and nice settings for it to get around its problems.

New in 1.1: Added more webMAN options to the popup menu when you right click on the Connect button.
Create PS3_EXTRA 1.3.3
----------------------
This tool scans for the PKG, MP4 and P3T files copied to each game folder, its PS3_UPDATE folder, PKGDIR or PS3_CONTENT,
and store them under a PS3_EXTRA structure.
When a game is mounted with multiMAN, there will be 2 BD icons on the XMB:
one disc for the game itself and another with PKGs, MP4 and P3T.
It should make it easier to install the game patches, DLC, fixes, and related videos,
due they will be listed in a neat menu like the one used by "PStore news" (big squares of 486x405 pixels).
How to use:
-----------
1) First put the pkg's at the root of your game folder (eg: BLES00000).

Other features include: rip files for games stored on PS3, file description, view cover image for selected folder, multiMAN remote commands, etc.
CreateHardLink 1.1.1
--------------------
Do you need a copy of your giant ISO, virtual HDD, movies or any other file in a another folder (e.g. for network share) and don't want to waste the extra hard disk space? This Win32 tool (inspired tool on multiMAN's mmOS shadow copy feature) lets you create a "hard link copy" of your files stored on NTFS drives without expend the extra HDD space.
IMPORTANT: A symbolic links to directories are "shortcuts" that behave like a path redirection. A "hard link copy" is the same original file just with another file name. Any modification made to one file will be reflected on all the other copies. Hard links don't work on multiple volumes or hard drives formatted in FAT32.
[+] Installation & Usage
Installation:
Run the CreateHardLink.exe as "administrator" at least once to register the "Paste Hard Link" option in Explorer context menu for files and folders.
If you run it holding Ctrl key, it will be registered as a Extended menu option (that only appears using Shift+Right click).
A .reg file is included to remove the option from Explorer. It's suggested to run it prior the registration as a context menu option.
Usage:
1. Select the items to be copied (e.g. ISO files, movies, folders, etc.) and press Ctrl+C to copy
2. browse to desired directory where we want the 'virtual copy'
3. right click on any file or folder and select 'Paste Hard Link' from context menu
4. Done.
Hard link for files only work in the same NTFS volume. Folder links works with different NTFS volumes. For different volumes 'Directory Junction' is suggested, instead of the default 'Symbolic Link'.
A 'Directory Junction' is created holding Shift or Ctrl key when we select 'Paste Hard Link' option.
With 'Directory Junction' or 'Symbolic Links' you can "copy" (it really redirects) an entire folder to another folder (e.g. you can redirect your games in JB format, music folders, movies, ISOs, etc. to the share folder for PS3 NET Server)
Indeed PS3 NET Server is the main reason why I made this tool... It could be done also with mklink command, but many users don't know about it or could find it cumbersome to do it through the command line.
PSISO Tool GUI
--------------
It's a GUI for CaptainCPS-X tool. The tool patches PS3 ISOs that not were created with genPS3ISO or multiMAN.
Bruteforce EBOOT 1.3.1
----------------------
This tool is more an EXPERIMENT than a real key finder... a 128bit key is expected to take milleniums to bruteforce it,
but if you are extremely LUCKY you could find a rifkey using this method. Anyway, I'm sharing this because a friend asked me to make it to have some fun.
The tool generates random or sequential values and uses MAGIC333X's bruteforce tool to test thousands or millions of rifkeys per second.
New in this release:
- Added option to open the EBOOT by drag & drop of the file
Bruteforce Edat 1.2.1
---------------------
It's a dev klicensee bruteforcer that can be used to find the klicensee used on edat files.
It uses BuC's dev klicensee validator to test the potential keys and the superfast JjKkYu's EDAT dev_klic bruteforcer tool.
New in this release:
- BruteForce_List_Edat_Klicensees -> Added listing of the RAP in HEX format (if the rap file exists in the RAPS folder) (thank to ZOMBIEKILLAH for the idea)
Special thanks to Catalinnc for his awesome contribution discovering the dev klicensees!
PS3 HDD GUI 1.3
---------------
It's a GUI for the PS3 HDD reader tool created by 3141card.
The tool is a simple on-the-fly decrypter and ufs2 reader that allows to browse the content of your gameos (dev_hdd0)
and copy files and folders to PC.
PS3 HDD will only read (Nothing is written to the PS3 HDD, so it should be very safe). PS3 HDD for Slim and FAT models are now supported.
New in 1.3: updated to support ps3 hdd reader 1.0.
PS3 Ftp Data Sync 1.2.1
-----------------------

from the default "BLUS0000-[Title]" format to "Title [BLUS0000]".
This name format should make it easier to find the games using Explorer.
Just copy the renam.exe to the x:\GAMES (or x:\GAMEZ) folder and rut it.
(Do not expect any GUI. It will rename the folders and exit)
That's all for now

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida recently discussed the continued dissonance between the audience's perception and reality of independent games and AAA titles. In particular, he mentioned the download rates of games available for free to PlayStation Plus members.
"I hear complaints [about the lack of AAA games]. I do realize that some people are only interested in big-budget AAA games. I don't really understand those people. I don't know if they've tried some of the indie games and decided they're not interested," said Yoshida to GI.biz.

In case you ever felt proud about the paint job you gave your controllers or something, Swedish craftsman Love Hulten has created the R-Kaid-R, a portable homage to arcades that manages to look sleek and old fashioned at the same time.
The R-Kaid-R's wooden clamshell design hosts an 8" LCD screen and a mono speaker above an arcade-style layout, complete with nine face buttons, a screw-in joystick and a stereo port for headphones. Its hardware supports titles from the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation and predating consoles, along with some PC titles like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D. Hulten estimates that on a full charge, the arcade away from home can withstand about 8 hours of play.
While the R-Kaid-R is a joy to look at, you can always add it to your on-the-go collection for a, uh ... minor charge of $3,397 (€2,499). While that includes a manual, a 16 GB SD card with pre-installed OS, a USB charging cable and a copy ofCave Story, it doesn't include the carrying case seen in the video, which is aseparate $176 (€239) purchase. At least you can choose your R-Kaid-R's appearance from one of five colors?

What we look for a loader ? What is essential is to have a excellent compatibility with backups , then that is nice , it's always more pleasant to have a colorful interface a black and lettering style white console Windows, then you have extra functions not only load games, it is also Good to have on hand some other plus .

ONElua is a new LUA interpreter made under the C programming language and to be more specific, the main base is the library Oslib like LuaDEV . But yes, that is an interpreter? Basically with this tool (interpreter) can create their own homebrews and applications , introducing and shaping their ideas through the built-in ONElua and of course native LUA. 's time to go an adventure !

[source: R04drunner @ redribbon.t15.org ] Red Ribbon LXDE 14.03 is based on Debian Jessie and It includes the following changes:
* Kernel 3.12.6 with the Graf_chokolo's, Marcan's and Gitbrew's patches.
* New version of the installer with some features added and some bugs fixed.
* New version of the Red Ribbon theme.
* Iceweasel (Firefox) updated to the 27 release.
* Blueman is now the bluetooth manager.
* Added the SMTube application to play videos from Youtube.
I believe that Red Ribbon GNU/Linux is already a mature distribution and I've decided that the version will be based on the publication date, using the year followed by the month, like other distributions.
Also, I'm working in others Red Ribbon flavors based on others desktops, so I've included the desktop name on the release name.

In the PS3 community know perfectly well that we have very demanding users who like to keep trying and trying to keep some tool, CFW, so it definitely fits your needs as possible which is why we wanted to add another Custom firmware more many of which are known, with the same advantages as the other , but with perhaps some variations that could be definitive for those seeking other features, we invite you to also try the Custom firmware Ferrox .

A year has passed and ScummVM 1.7.0 is here.
With this release we have added support for 45 completely new games. These are:
- The Neverhood
- Mortville Manor
- Voyeur
- Return to Ringworld
- Chivalry is Not Dead
Also, we have updated the MT-32 emulator, added an OpenGL backend, improved many aspects of the GUI, enhanced the AGOS engine, made Urban Runner's videos less CPU-demanding, fixed tons of bugs in dozens of SCI games, improved sound in Loom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and improved platform portability for the Tony and Tinsel engines.
But this is not all. We have added experimental support for the OUYA console (we couldn't add GCW-Zero support simply because sev still awaits his console from Kickstarter), made major improvements to the PS2 port and merged the Bada with Tizen ports.
The full list with all changes mentioned can be found in our release notes and the release can be obtained as usual from our downloads page.
Everybody Way Oh!

Progressions of hack native side of the Vita are rare, so little news like this is always good to take.
mr.gas, a member of Wololo forum announced today, with the help of tomtomdu80 (known for its port VHBL Apache Overkill last year), they were able to dump the contents of a Vita memory card. Nevertheless, for strange reason, they do not share their method, they have simply given enough evidence of their achievement. Since the announcement of katsu and technical revelations about copying game cartridges, there was Dump no announcement for more than six months. Sony uses proprietary cards on the Vita, which makes it virtually impossible to read without additional hardware. Moreover, one might think that the content is encrypted, but according mr.gas, the majority is not. Yifan Lu, who needs no introduction, mentions that contained unencrypted is more or less useless in a context of hack, as long as there the encrypted content. In view of some comments left by Yifan, it seems that he had access to the dump. As shown in the screenshot mr.gas, the card consists of several files:
Despite the fact that this hack does not certainly pave the way of Homebrew, it could lead to the exploitation of its backups, or transfer their their editions ...

Once it finds the klicensee, the tool resign the EBOOT/SPRX/SELF with 3.55/3.40 keys. It also includes my FixELF tool
and uses the tool by MAGIC333X (v1.3.1) for faster klicensee detection.

PlayStation 4's latest firmware is available to download and install now, bringing 3D Blu-ray support to the system as promised. If you're hoping for the same feature on Xbox One, it's due to hit in next month's system update.
Today's PS4 update also means users can choose to automatically download "Featured Content" from the PlayStation Store - according to Sony Europe's Chris Owen that includes things like demos and time-limited trials, and no charged content. Also, system messages that were in the top right will now appear in the top left, and most importantly of all, the sound quality on 1.5x DVD and Blu-ray playback is improved. Finally, we can all move on!
