The new PSP Go, leaked just before E3 thanks to the June issue of Sony's own Qore, is tiny little thing. Bigger than an iPhone—but not by much—and slimmer than the original PSP.
When placed side-by-side against some of the current portable gaming competition, the PSP Go illustrates just how different it is from its peers and predecessor. The screen ratio looks similar to older PSP models, but is considerably smaller in size—3.8 inches versus the PSP-3000's diagonal size of 4.3 inches or 11% smaller.
On par with than Sony's other slide-out device, the Mylo 2, from which the PSP Go looks to have borrowed some of its design choices.
The PSP Go is also pretty efficient on overall hardware footprint. The LCD screen is 0.3 inches larger than the iPhone, but thanks to the slide-out controls, doesn't have nearly the same amount of extra plastic flanking each side.
The removal of some of the PSP's original buttons (display, sound, volume) go a long way to keeping the look more efficient than earlier models.
Versus the Nintendo DSi and DS Lite, however, we see just how much smaller the device is in its open position compared to its dual-screen competition. Screen-wise, the DSi and PSP Go are closer than ever, as the former got a quarter-inch boost over the DS Lite's screen, with the Go shaving off a half-inch.
Weight-wise, the PSP Go sounds pretty light—approximately 3.8 ounces, if the 43% lighter than the PSP-3000 figure (and our math) is accurate. That makes it lighter than the iPhone (4.7 ounces) and Nintendo DSi (7.5 ounces).
Keep in mind that these PSP Go figures aren't official, so things may be slightly off. But if you need to budget pocket space for the Fall, it might be handy.

Remember when those slim PS3 shots came out and skeptics bemoaned the missing "spiderman font" as proof of mischief? Well, if you believe that the PSP Go is a lock, and really, at this point there's no reason to doubt it, then a side-by-side shot of the PSP Go and slim PS3 box art should be quite revealing... and it is. Note the similar font, horizontal band, and general placement of device specs like memory capacity. Pretty similar, thus giving the slim PS3 rumor that much more weight. If this is the new slim PS3 then the only question now is whether it'll be unveiled at E3 next week or not.

Xteaph-N has released a very early rpg demo for the PSP, take a looksy if your interested:
There's really nothing here but the skeleton of a turn based battle system.
I'm not posting any screenshots as it's just all final fantasy 1 nes sprites. There is no AI and you have no weapon. I made this yesterday and it is my first attempt at a language.
With that being said I am looking for people to help me on this project like graphics artist, dialog writer, etc. If you want to help me then PM me.

Another article from IGN discusses those games mentioned yesterday, im looking forward to seeing Gran Tourismo at last
After an episode of Qore mysteriously showed up online, one of Sony's biggest E3 surprises was let loose: the PSP Go is real and it's coming this Fall. During an interview between Veronica Belmont and SCEA Director of Hardware Marketing John Koller, Koller mentions a number of games that will be coming to the PSP family, including LittleBigPlanet Portable and Gran Turismo. However, he also mentions Metal Gear.
This should definitely come as exciting news for PlayStation fans, as another portable Metal Gear would be quite the system-seller for Sony's new PSP. Although no solid details are given, perhaps the mysterious Kojima countdown timer is connected with the new portable Metal Gear. Only time will tell.

IGN have posted an article and a decent shot of the newly announced PSP Go, heres their take on the breaking story:
Sony's E3 press conference might still be days away, but it would appear one of the company's biggest cats is out of the bag -- the PSP Go is real.
Yes, for some reason the latest episode of Qore is live and features host Veronica Belmont speaking in the past tense about E3 and getting a private demo of the PSP Go from SCEA Director of Hardware John Koller. Want the deets? Well, imagine a smaller PSP-3000 where you slide the top portion up to reveal the D-Pad, Select button, Start button, and traditional face buttons. The screen is going to be 3.8 inches, the unit is 44 percent lighter than the PSP-3000, there's no UMD drive, there's a Memory Stick micro slot, it's Bluetooth compatible so that you can use a headset and link it to your cell phone, and the unit packs 16 gigabytes of flash memory.
As if that news wasn't huge enough, the episode of the show features our first look at LittleBigPlanet Portable in action (the screen is in tight on Sackboy and packing a lot of color) and Koller says that there is a new Metal Gear and Gran Turismo coming to the PSP.
In terms of the family tree, Koller said that the PSP Go is not replacing the PSP-3000 but that both units will live in harmony on retail shelves -- although he did say that Sony likes 10-year lifecycles so the PSP Go should have a bit longer life than the PSP-3000. Still, Koller said the company plans to continue to support both downloadable and retail-based games. Belmont asked if there would be different games for the Go versus the traditional PSP; Koller responded that the units will have a similar catalog to begin with, but with time, he expects there to be some differences -- like maybe developers making smaller games that are shorter experiences.
Want to get your hands on the PSP Go? Koller said that the unit is expected to ship this fall.

m0skit0 has released an Updated Mod of the Homebrew Enabler for the PSP, heres the translated release details:
This is my second amendment on the TIFF exploit MaTiaZ to load and execute the kernel mode exploit Dave, which in turn activates the ChickHEN. PSP works 100% in 2000, but this time I could not try it on PSP 3000. These changes are for those who do not work the first amendment.
Please follow the instructions step by step:
Turn on the PSP
Plug the USB to PC
Now the PC should see that a device has been inserted
We open the device to explore it and copy the download here (at the root of MemoryStick)
Extracting the ChickHEN Mod.zip. We do that with the substitutions.
Now do the safe removal of the PSP in Windows and go to the PSP (please first quiet, rush counselors are bad)
Press or to leave the USB
Let's photos, down to Memory Stick and give to the X
We hope to load the image of the egg in the square that puts ChickHEN mod2
When the image we give X
PSP 2000: DO NOTHING MORE
PSP 3000: down rapidly in the last picture (thanks to mvisions)
Download: ChickHEN mod2.zip
If you are not working, and you will be blocked off. Turn it on and try again following all the steps (and no need to re-copy images, of course).
¡¡¡Please, any comments indicate your version of PSP and the brand and size of MS, thanks!

The Fusa team are back with a new release, heres the details from them:
So what does FuSa do?
- It allows you to play games on ANY TV over ANY cable.
( composite, component, svideo, d-terminal )
All kinds of cables are supported!
Besides that, it allows you to play on full screen area!
All right here we are. So this is release of new build number 50.
You probably already know that it's main feature is fullspeed gameplay with fullscreen image.
Well, I will not tell you how we've made that, because I already told about it in previous news entry.
Instead I'll tell you about all new features wich B50 provides to you.
New features
New SpeedboosteR
If you used previous version of FuSa plugin you must remember that there was a menu option for it - now it's turned on as you activate plugin (pretty obviously it was removed as menu option)
The beta tests show that it's very stable now and is compatible with all games (with right settings)
On-Fly FS switcher
Allows you to switch between different FS modes without entering the menu. Just press Vol down & Triangle
Plug'n'Go!
As the name says just plug-in an go! So if you insert cable into PSP plugin will automaticaly activated and if you remove the cable it will be disactivated. If you are launching game from XMB with inserted cable, plugin also will be automaticaly activated.
Other changes:
New rewritten engine
Now plugin uses "one-way-cache"
Added cpu/gpu clock switcher to menu
Added Vram hack
Compatible with any pops
...and a lot of other minor things

The rumored pictures of the PS3 slim immediately brought, like a chorus of boos at Question Time, denunciations of fakery. They sure got us in trouble with a lawyer-mans. But someone thinks the retail box, at least, is real.
PlayStation Lifestyle took a look at the Slim Box, compared to the PSP Go Box, and thinks the Slim box is standardized enough that it isn't fake, which gives credence to the pics of the hardware itself. Saith PSL:
The box has a strikingly similar layout as the PSP Go box. The logo on the bottom left hand side, along with the PSN logo, and memory capacity on the bottom right hand side. Also the Sony, and PlayStation logos in each respective upper corners. Lastly the colored XMB wave "stripe" across the middle of the box with the PS3/PSP layered over it is the same on each box, just using a different color for each box.
Not saying they're fake, not saying they're real, just letting you make up your mind with more information. And queue C&D from a Taiwanese attorney in 3 ... 2 ...

A screenshot from Kotaku
Heres more details from eurogamer:
Sony's new handheld is indeed called PSP Go and has up to 16GB of flash memory and Bluetooth support for tethering to mobile phones.
That's according to Sony's own Qore gaming show, the latest episode of which was posted prematurely and then yanked, but not before the internet pounced on it.
A snippet of video that has since popped up on YouTube includes mentions of Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Jak & Daxter and Metal Gear games.
The Sony man talking about it also says that the PSP-3000 will be kept on the market.
Eurogamer's in-house pals at the Digital Foundry blog have also done some digging and unearthed high-resolution snaps of the PSP Go.
With the slide closed, the unit has a visible Wi-Fi indicator in the top left next to the screen, as well as a PS button in the bottom left, and a Bluetooth indicator in the top right, with low-profile shoulder buttons along the top.
When the screen slides up, it reveals a d-pad and analogue nub, start/select buttons and the traditional arrangement of four face buttons.
We've previously been told to expect 8GB and 16GB models, but presumably we'll find out more on Tuesday at Sony's conference - tune into the site at 7pm BST / 8pm CET for live coverage.

Heres another news item this time from Gizmodo of the new PSP Go with slider,
Live images have leaked of Sony's PSP Go, set to launch at next week's E3. Looks like those rumors were true: It's a UMD-less slider with 16GB of memory, and it'll ship this fall. No price yet, but that should come with the official announcement next week.

With just days to go before the gaming world goes wild at E3, the hotly anticipated DJ Hero is now spinning on its very own website. Granted, a few of the sections are still labeled as "coming soon," but we're given a few more sneak peeks at the hardware, the gameplay and even a duo of handy links to pre-order it. According to listings on both GameStop and Amazon, the software and turntable are slated to ship on October 27th, with the bundle priced at $119.99 for all four of the major consoles (yes, new games are still being made for the PS2). Better still, the latter e-tailer has the Jay-Z Special Edition Bundle listed for Sony's PS3 and Nintendo's Wii, though neither of those are accompanied by MSRPs or expected ship dates. And to think, those are just two of our 99 problems...

Look up there, folks. That's the future of Sony's hopes and dreams in the handheld gaming sector. With just hours to go before the company's official E3 2009 press event, it looks like the pieces are all coming together. First a UMD-less game release, then a highly credible mole giving the PSP Go a name, and now -- live action shots. The images here were sourced from an obviously slipped June 2009 Qore video, and aside from giving us a look at the slider-based system (which, let's be honest, looks a ton like the questionably successful mylo), we're also told that it'll tout 16GB of internal memory, built-in Bluetooth and an undisclosed memory slot. If all goes well, it'll ship this Fall for a price to be determined, and it's actually not slated to replace the PSP-3000, as both of 'em will attempt to live on store shelves harmoniously... at least for awhile. Oh, and don't worry -- we'll be on hand in LA to bring you all the impressions we can muster early next week.
