Less then 48 hours after Sony announced they "settled" their case with Mr. Hotz in the states, it is now even more clear they don't want anyone that has been showing to the world they have the true brains to be messing around inside the PS3 console, so Sony has appeared at graf_chokolo home for the second time now and after having tea served him with a updated TRO that allowed them to remove his newly bought equipment!

SONY was at my home today again, with a new TRO against me. They took my whole equipment again and told me to stop my OtherOS project or else …. , guys. They definitely do not want OtherOS back on PS3. They want me to take down all my OtherOS and PS3 utils. Make sure to clone all my GIT repositories. I don’t think you want me to stop, guys, do you ? Tell me what you think.
Sadly, other lame blog sites are reporting bullshit stories that the police were involved, which is far from the real truth, as confirmed by Graf himself!!!

NIS America is going to save you Disgaea superfans a little time, by allowing you to buyDisgaea 4 and a tie-in toy at the same time. The publisher announced a Premium Edition, which will be available at "GameStop and other retailers" at the September launch, and contains an artbook and an exclusive Nendoroid figurine of Fuka (above, snapped for the Japanese Disgaea blog).
If you really want a big box of Disgaea stuff, though, you'll want to pre-order from NIS's own store. It'll begin taking pre-orders in July for two different bundles: the same Premium Edition sold elsewhere (with the addition of a bonus soundtrack), and a Super Premium Edition that comes with nine more exclusive toys.
Oh, also, all of these packages include the actual game.

Another entry in EA's third person Army of Two co-op shooter series is in the works, according to a new set of job listings.
Posts on the publisher's recruitment site, as spotted by Gamerzines, call for a senior producerand lead environment artist "for the Army of Two franchise" to join the Visceral Games team in Montreal.
It would be the third game in the series following Army of Two: The 40th Day in 2010, which won7/10 from Eurogamer.
"There's little doubt that anyone who fell in love with the first game's slender charms will be enthused by the prospect of more of the same delivered with a higher degree of HD polish," wrote Dan Whitehead.
"With its A-list production still held back by B-list ambition, though, there's ultimately not enough of substance to lure players away from the multitude of other co-op gaming experiences for more than a few days."

Lexis Numérique has confirmed a release date for its intriguing investigative adventure for PSN, Red Johnson's Chronicles, and serves a side-order of gameplay footage via the new trailer below.
Red Johnson's Chronicles will hit the PlayStation Store for PS3 on April 19 - which is a Tuesdays so likely only applies to the US. There's no word on a UK date, but fingers crossed it'll be Friday that week.
Red Johnson's Chronicles is an "investigation/adventure and puzzle game," in which "players take on the role of Red Johnson, a private investigator on the streets of a city where the crime rate is skyrocketing," Lexis explained in a previous announcement.
It added: "Players must use clues, solve puzzles that are totally integrated in the scenario, and question witnesses to investigate a murder, all while staying out of harm's way. Players will also discover a world in which everything is dark, sharp and deadly. Even the humor."

News via http://wololo.net/wagic/2011/04/12/r...-wagic-0-15-1/
Wow, I must say it’s been a while. Yes, the last Wagic release was almost 4 months ago. I’m the lazy one here. Between real life, the genesis competition, the whole HEN crazyness that happened, it was difficult to find time to put into Wagic. Thankfully, I’m not the only one working on Wagic anymore, and thanks to the incredible dev team, this update is impressive, as usual.
What is Wagic?
Damn, do I still need to introduce Wagic? Often compared to commercial games for its replay value and quality, Wagic is a heroic fantasy card game, in which you fight as a wizard against the computer. As you win battles, you unlock new game modes and earn credits that allow you to improve your army. Wagic is community driven, entirely customizable (you can create themes, mods, even new rules), available in several languages (English, French, German, spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Serbian), and open source. It currently runs on the Sony PSP, Windows, Linux, and N900 (maemo). We are also working on ports for other devices such as the iPad, and we are still looking for devs to help on that
What’s new in this release of Wagic? Well the major point is that more than 1000 unique cards were added. Wagic now supports more than 7700 unique cards (which, if you count the reprints, means more than 13700 cards), thanks to the incredible work of Zethfox, Dr.Solomat, and 840126. But that’s not the only new stuff in this release, check this out:
- More than 1000 new cards. Wagic now supports more than 7700 unique cards, 13700 cards total, including the new set MBS (thanks go especially to Zethfox, Dr.Solomat, and 840126)
- (Windows) Mouse version improved, some bugs fixed, overall controls have been improved (Xaw Otihs)
- Threading support for image loading. Overall this should make image loading a bit smoother (Mootpoint)
- Support for actual button icons instead of text (Mervin, Mootpoint)
- New Wallpapers by Kaioshin
- Translation updates (thanks to all translators!)
- Added new keywords/abilities for card creators. Hopefully we will find the time to edit the wiki and add documentation for these new keywords, for now you’ll have to look into the new cards to see what’s new
- Various performance improvements
- Many, many, many bug fixes

Despite the ongoing situation between the NFL and Players Association, which could ultimately mean no football this year, EA Sports president Peter Moore quelled doubts at a recent event. The situation will not affect his studio's hit football franchise's next installment,Madden NFL 12.
"We'll be shipping this year, regardless of what the labor issues are, whether they're resolved or not," Moore told a group of journalists during an EA Sports event last night in San Francisco. "Madden 12 will be shipping on August 30th 2011, regardless of what happens with the league itself." So, there you have it. You may not get to see your players hit the field in real-life this year, but you can rest assured you'll be seeing their virtual representations, right on schedule.

In theory, it sounds like a great idea: Sit down with three other people and play Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One together. But in practice, four-player co-op can be chaotic and downright nasty: "Just hit the switch, dumbass! Gawd you suck at this game."
Cordial coordination is challenging enough when all four of you are on the couch together. But how often does that happen? A lot of players will be teaming up online -- with strangers, no less -- and that can often mean complete radio silence.
Insomniac is trying to design All 4 One to work in both cases, on the couch and online. "Certainly we think that both are extremely important," says gameplay programmer Mike McManus. "We don't want either to not work."

As promised, Sony Ericsson has just flipped the switch for its Android bootloader unlocking service, meaning those with an unbranded Xperia device from 2011 and onwards -- Play, Arc, Neo, and Pro so far -- will be able to try out custom ROMs and other dirty mods with ease. All that's required here is your phone's IMEI number, which in return gives you the unlocking key to go with the Android SDK's fastboot program -- all will be clear once you've read the instructions at the source link. But remember: SE does warn that this service may void your warranty if all goes pear-shaped, so just be careful, won't ya?

Forthcoming tactical RPG sequel Disgaea 4 is getting a special edition, publisher NIS has announced, and very handsome it is too.
As detailed in the NIS Store and pictured below, the Super Premium Edition packs in a model of lead character Fuuka, an artbook, game soundtrack and nine figurines.
There will also be a more modest Premium Edition available which includes all of the above minus the figurines.
Price or European availability hasn't been confirmed just yet – the publisher isn't accepting pre-orders until July.
As revealed earlier this week, the follow up to ace 2009 effort Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is due out on PlayStation 3 this Autumn.

Owners of L.A. Noire on PS3 may receive an exclusive traffic case called The Consul's Car.
Supporting evidence was pulled from PS3 shop boxes touting "exclusive content", plus a captured image (on Rockstar Network) - possibly from a video - that reads, "Get The Consul's Car traffic case only on PlayStation 3".
When confronted with the evidence, a Rockstar official on the company's website said, "Look for more details on that coming soon." Is that confirmation? It's not a denial.
The ESRB age-rating for L.A. Noire has been published, too, and goes into surprising detail.
Stop reading now if you're painstakingly avoiding even light spoilers.
Fights comprise of "realistic gunfire" from pistols, shotguns, rifles, machine guns and even flamethrowers. There are "blood spurts". Splat.
Cut-scenes can be violent; one shows a character "being beaten with a crowbar (off screen)", with "large spurts of blood" in the foreground.
L.A. Noire, a detective game, also has players closely examine "badly beaten or mutilated" corpses. You can peruse the "bruises" and "bloody cuts", and "a few female corpses are depicted fully nude with fleeting images of pubic hair".
Dialogue is adult, with descriptions of criminals vivid: "He's some kind of sex fiend," hero Phelps overhears. One cut-scene implies an adult-to-teenager relationship; "You take love where you can find it as you get older, Jack," says one person. "That has nothing to do with love," quips the other.
Language is flowery: you'll hear "f**k", "sh*t", "c*nt", "n**ger" and "sp*c".
L.A. Noire was rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. Or was it M for Mature?
L.A. Noire, a game with five hours of cut-scenes, was rated 18 by UK official BBFC yesterday.

George "Geohot" Hotz – the man who hacked the PlayStation 3 – promised Sony he'll never fiddle about with the innards of a PlayStation 3 again. But now he's gone one step further, and vowed never to buy a Sony product ever again.
"As of 4/11/11, I am joining the SONY boycott," he wrote on his blog. "I will never purchase another SONY product.
"I encourage you to do the same. And if you bought something SONY recently, return it."
The settlement between Hotz and Sony was announced on Monday. Sony was "glad" and Hotz was "happy" to bring an end to the bitter legal scrap that began in January.
You'd have thought budding rapper Geohot would take take the settlement and keep a low profile – at least for a while. Not so.
"There is much more to come on this blog," he added.

Valve has revealed full details of how Steam will be supported by the PS3 version of Portal 2.
The first title to support Steam on a console, Portal 2 offers cross-platform matchmaking, gameplay, friends, chat, and achievements, all powered by Steam. Steam on the PS3 also saves co-op game progress and single player saved games to the Steam Cloud, enabling players to pick up where they left off on any PlayStation3.
The Steam overlay for PS3 provides access to both PSN and Steam friends, displaying their in-game or online status and providing a quick pathway to text chats, player profiles, friend requests, and game invites. Steam Achievements are earned in lockstep with PSN Trophies and are also accessible within the Steam overlay.
Steam on the PS3 provides access to all of these features once the player has linked their PlayStation Network account with a Steam account, which is done right within the game. A Steam user can login to an existing account, and anyone new to Steam can create an account with the click of a button.
In the spirit of Steam Play, linked players of the PS3 version of Portal 2 can also access and play their copy of Portal 2 on any PC or Mac by redeeming an in-box access code on their computer. The Steam client verifies the linked customer and then lists Portal 2 among their library of Steam games for PC and Mac.
