Thatgamecompany’s three game deal with Sony is being concluded with a compilation of the three titles coming later this summer.
As it sounds, the collection will pack this year’s critically-acclaimed PSN exclusive Journey, along with their previous efforts Flower and FlOw.
The collection was first spotted as a listing on GameFly (since removed), that tagged a release for August 28th.
Subsequently, ThatGameCompany went ahead and confirmed the reveal to Joystiq, with the developer promising full details ‘soon.’

GAME has secured the exclusive rights to the White 320Gb PS3 in the UK.
The SKU will include a white console, two white DualShock controllers and a 90 day subscription to PlayStation Plus, which normally retails for £12.99.
Also in the box is an AC power cable, one AV cable and one USB cable.
It is currently available to pre-order for £239.99 and will arrive in the UK on June 29th.
The SKU had previously been announced as being exclusive to GameStop. MCV has contacted Sony to clarify.
UPDATE: Sony has issued MCV with the following statement regarding the two retail deals for the White PS3:
"Our office in Ireland negotiated a separate deal in September with GameStop. We believe this was successful and the stock has sold through.
"Here in the UK from July 6th, Game will be selling the White PS3 including the two white Dualshock controllers and a free three months of PlayStation Plus. They are selling a different value bundle and are the current UK exclusive partner for Classic White PlayStation 3."

Mass Effect 3’s promised ending-altering DLC will arrive next week, BioWare has announced.
Dubbed ‘Extended Cut’, the free downloadable content update will hit next Tuesday, June 26th for Xbox 360 and PC along with PS3 in North America. PS3 users in Europe will receive the update on Wednesday July 4th.
The official FAQ reveals the update weighs in at 1.9 GB, so it appears there’s some substance to what’s being presented. That said BioWare makes it clear that while the new content adds clarity to the ending, it does not bring outright changes.
From a portion of the FAQ:
"The Extended Cut expands on the original endings of Mass Effect 3 through additional scenes and epilogue sequences. It provides more of the answers and closure that players have been asking for. It gives a sense of what the future holds as a result of the decisions made throughout the series. And it shows greater detail in the successes or failures based on how players achieved their endings."

Sony has been caught unawares by a legal change in South Korea, which prevents under-18s from being asked for their names or ages for the purpose of account authentication. No sooner had the company announced a half-price sale at its PS Store and then it was forced to pull the whole thing down in order re-work the interface and make it compliant. It's expecting to reopen it sometime "this year," but in the meantime the Store is strangely still accessible to PSP and Vita users of any age, while multiplayer and other PSN functions will continue to run on PS3. There must be a lawyer somewhere for whom this all makes complete sense, and hopefully they work for Facebook.

Saints Row: The Third - Enter The Dominatrix will no longer be released as a standalone expansion, THQ has confirmed. Instead, it will be folded into a full Saints Row sequel due in 2013.
The move appears to be the first major decision made by Jason Rubin, the co-founder of Uncharted developer Naughty Dog who was appointed THQ president last month.
"When I looked at the Enter The Dominatrix expansion in production at Volition, I was blown away by the ideas and desire to expand the fiction of the franchise," Rubin said. "I asked the team what it could achieve given more time, more resources, and a broader scope for the project. We all agreed that we wanted to play that game.
"When it comes to Saints Row, it's clear our fans want bigger, better and even more over the top, and that's why Enter The Dominatrix will now be incorporated into a vastly expanded, fully fledged sequel, scheduled for calendar 2013."
Intriguingly, it seems a multiplayer component is in the works, with Rubin adding: "We believe the potential for this sequel is far greater as a full-priced, full-length, high-quality connected experience."

Sony is not prepared to demonstrate its PlayStation 4 console until the system can demonstrate 'a significant leap' in technology, the group chief executive of SCE has explained.
In a rare interview with industry publicationMCV, Andrew House appeared to challenge the emerging view that the next batch of game consoles will not provide a considerable leap in technology.Asked why Sony did not showcase the next PlayStation at E3 this year, he said: "The right time to talk about new advances in hardware is when you can demonstrate a significant leap on the current experience, and something that is going to be attractive."
"Beyond that we have nothing to say at this point," he added.
Analysts and executives at rival companies have already claimed that next-generation graphics will not leap as far forward as the current generation did from the previous.
Recently, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata questioned whether consumers will ""be able to realise the difference" between current and next generation technologies
It is widely believed that Sony will reveal PlayStation 4 at E3 next year, if not sooner.

Here’s [FlorianH's] setup for driving a PlayStation Portable screen with an FPGA. He’s using the DE0-Nano board to do this, and the first order of business was to establish a way to connect the two. He did a great job of etching his own breakout board, which has some traces that are less than 10 mils thick. Soldering the connectors for the screen was a bit of a challenge, and he shared several pictures of the process for your enjoyment.
With everything hooked up he fired it up with just a couple of lines of code to draw a test pattern. From there it was on to building a more intensive driver. [FlorianH] mentioned to us that he’s just starting to learn about FPGAs after having worked extensively with 8-bit microcontrollers. He’s been documenting his work on his site, and finds himself frequently referencing his own material so remember how he did things. Our vicarious enjoyment is an unintended (but welcomed) consequence of that habit.

Mikael Nermark, CEO of Swedish developer Starbreeze, insists he is "proud" of the studio's work on the Syndicate reboot despite the game's lukewarm critical commercial reception.
Speaking to us at the studio's offices earlier today, Nermark said he expected a backlash due to EA's decision to turn a beloved strategy series into an FPS, but insists that he was happy with the game's performance.
"Yes, I'm still proud of it," he said. "To have the courage to reboot the franchise… We knew from the get-go that there was going to be a small but very vocal [group] of gamers and journalists that was going to hate us whatever route we took.
"If we didn't do an exact copy of the game, they'd hate us. If we did do an exact copy, they'd say we didn't innovate. They were never ours to win; it was a lost battle from the get-go.
"But I'm proud of what the team did and what we made, and I'm especially proud of the co-op; I think that really shows what we wanted to do with the game, and Starbreeze's DNA."
But there's no arguing with the figures: Syndicate sold poorly - an estimated 150,000 copies worldwide - prompting EA Labels boss Frank Gibeau to describe the game as "something we took a risk on. It didn't work."
"I don't have any response to what Frank said," Nermark told us. "I think both EA and Starbreeze can look back at it and say that we could have done stuff differently. [But] if you ask anyone about any game in production they probably would say the same thing.
"In comparison to other triple-A teams, in terms of people and money, we're very small. I'm not going to tell you exactly whatSyndicate cost to make - I can't due to NDAs - but it was substantially less than what the big in-house publishing studios would have spent, definitely."

Two WipEout HD content packs that were previously exclusive to the PS3 will soon be available on Vita.
Sony has announced that content from WipEout HD and WipEout HD Fury will be available as DLC for Vita's WipEout 2048 from tomorrow in Europe, and today in the States.
Thanks to the company's Cross-Buy feature, if players have already purchased the packs on their PS3 then they'll be able to download Vita versions at no extra charge. The Cross-Buy feature also works the other way, meaning purchasing a title on the Vita makes you eligible to download its PS3 counterpart for free. Vita games which make use of this already include Hustle Kings, Top Darts and Motorstorm RC.
Content from the latest console incarnation in the WipEout series, WipEout HD, can be downloaded on the PS Vita through the WipEout 2048 - WipEout HD Game Pack. It contains 12 new tracks, including eight reverse tracks, and 12 new ships to bolster what's already on offer in the retail version of WipEout 2048. If that's not enough for you, the WipEout HD Fury Game Pack will provide access to a further 12 tracks and 24 more ships.
Each pack will cost £6.49 ($7.99) individually or £9.99 ($12.99) if bought together.

Update: Sony has responded, stating that the report from a moderator on the European PlayStation Forums is incorrect. "SCEA can confirm that PSN maintenance is not happening this week. We'll keep you updated on all official PSN maintenance announcements on PlayStation.Blog."
The Sony representative notes that all official PSN maintenance announcements will always go through the PlayStation Blog and never through its forums or other avenues.
The original report is below...
An interesting tidbit can be found on the European PlayStation Forums concerning PlayStation Network maintenance that’s scheduled to occur on Wednesday, June 20th. Another post about it can be found here.
The information was posted by user SuperFastZombie, marked as a “Community Team Moderator.” The time of the maintenance is marked as 16:00-20:30 BST (British Summer Time). For American users, that equates to 11am-3:30pm ET / 8am-11:30am PT.
The forum post notes that “for the duration of the maintenance some users will be unable to log into the PlayStation Network, Account Management and the PS Store. PS Home will also be unavailable. There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes.”
Because of the rather strange way this maintenance is being announced, we’ve reached out to Sony for confirmation (including on if this will only affect European PlayStation gamers) and will update when we hear back.

Anarchy Reigns has been delayed for a second time by publisher Sega.
The Platinum Games developed action title will now be released (along with every other game in the world, it seems) in Q1 2013. The delay only applies to Europe and the US.
Sega said that the decision came following a “re-evaluation”.
However, Platinum boss Atsushi Inaba took to Twitter following the news to vent his frustration at Sega’s decision.
“I wanted to make official comment on the western release of Anarchy Reigns,” he stated. “First of all, we are done with all international versions of Anarchy Reigns. The delay is not due to further development on the game.
“Also, even though the release dates will be different, the content of both the Japanese and Western versions will be 100% the same. There's some concern that this will push back the Japanese release date. It will not. The game will be released in Japan on July 5, 2012.
“Finally, I want to sincerely apologize to all the fans worldwide for all the confusion this situation has caused. Even though we are the game's developers, we can only do so much about this...”
Sega first delayed the game in May – a move that Platinum also chose to criticise publicly.
“The game is fully localized,” it stated. “If you buy the Japanese version or any version, it's going to have all the languages in it. We really wanted everybody online around the world to play together at the same time, but unfortunately that's not going to happen.
"In the West, Sega is looking for the best time to put it out. It will still be out in July [in Japan]. There will still be ways for you to get it if you know where to go. We're still 100 per cent behind the game and we still want to connect with you and play with you and have a good time. So let's make sure that happens no matter what bad news we get."

BBC Worldwide believes PS3’s Wonderbook could be the perfect fit for its IP.
The firm’s EVP of digital entertainment and games Robert Nashak says the company is thinking about which of its products – such as Doctor Who and Walking with Dinosaurs – it could bring to Sony’s newly-announced interactive book platform.
“It was really exciting for us to see the Wonderbook at the Sony conference,” Nashak told MCV. “We are a big believer in Augmented Reality, we are a big believer in story.
“We like to call ourselves the storytellers to the world, and if you talk to people around the world, they associate the BBC with news and they associate the BBC with great stories. You can imagine our properties coming to life in a book that is like a virtual pop-up book.
“It is very exciting for us to contemplate and think about.”

THQ has chosen former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson as its DLC carrot to dangle in front of customers who are considering pre-ordering WWE 13.
The “baddest man on the planet”, as the publisher chooses to refer to him, will be available as an exclusive playable character for those who commit to buying the title at participating retailers in the US and Canada.
THQ has yet to confirm whether the deal will be offered in the UK.
Tyson starred briefly in the WWE in the late ‘90s and played a key part in WrestleMania XIV. He then returned to the franchise in early 2012.
“The baddest man on the planet is back – and only in WWE ’13,” Mr Tyson himself is quoted as saying. “Fans everywhere can now relive what I experienced during the Attitude Era.”
THQ’s VP of global brand management Sean Ratcliffe added: “As one of the most dominant champions in boxing history and one of the most memorable guests to ever be featured on WWE programming, Mike Tyson led an incredible revolution that changed the way fans perceive the sport.
“He was a tremendous addition to the ‘Attitude Era’ and is certain to attract a wide variety of fans to ‘live the revolution’ offered in WWE ’13.”

Andrew House felt he was heading into the lion’s den ahead of his first major press conference since becoming CEO of PlayStation.
SCEA president Jack Tretton had lapped up the whopping and adulation as he introduced violent action games to the bloodthirsty crowd. House’s job was to show the same audience an interactive book service. For kids.
“I think I had Jack behind me going: ‘Ok mate, you can go on stage for this one,’” laughs House.
“We were joking backstage and I said: ‘You do realise that we have forged a division of responsibility at E3. You are in charge of blood and mayhem, and I am family-friendly.’”
Not that House minds this role. He is a family man, after all. When MCV asks about his first nine months in the job, he tells us how great it’s been for his kids. “My son has loved the adjustment to Japan,” he says.
But House is not just about the family in the home, the Welshman is all about cultivating relationships at work, too.
On the surface PlayStation’s E3 press conference was what you’d expect. A new Move game, a few Vita projects, some ambitious new IP coupled with established brands. The only thing missing was 3D – another sign perhaps that the technology is on the wane.
Yet beneath the surface, and this year’s press conference was all about partnerships. House has built a strong reputation for forging relationships. In his career at Sony he helped bring GTA to PlayStation, he asked Mubi to bring its catalogue of indie films to European PS3s, and he was even instrumental in Sony’s lucrative deal with J.K Rowling for Harry Potter website Pottermore.
And building better relations with third parties is exactly what House has been doing in the nine months since we last spoke. Wonderbook is yet another partnership with Rowling, Ubisoft is developing exclusive PS3 and Vita content, HTC has teamed-up with PlayStation Mobile, and 2K has even let Sony use its ‘Big Daddy’ character in PlayStation All-Stars.
“When I took on the role one of the things that I wanted to do was leverage my experience of running third-party relations and to build a global framework about the way we work with publishers,” he explains.
“I put together a global meeting to hammer out issues and define them. It was different because we were putting people together to deal with issues in a really active way. But it was also married with the fact that most of us have great longevity with the company and know each other well. There was a great sense of team spirit with no real hierarchy in the room. That was a great moment for me. I thought: ‘Yeah, this is going to be fun and interesting.’”
