Sony is to release both Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition as downloads on PSN.
Crucially, the prices of each have not yet been divulged. The first game was released way back in late 2007 and the sequel in 2009.
Both can routinely be found for £10 or less on the High Street, so it will be interesting to see if Sony chooses to be competitive or instead tries to charge a premium for the convenience of having both games instantly accessible from the XMD.
Indeed, in the press blurb Sony does say that “you can have two of Drake’s most epic adventures waiting on your PS3′s XMB, available at the tap of a button”.

Metal Gear Rising guru and all around video game auteur Hideo Kojima has revealed that footage from the Metal Gear: Rising E3 demo will be shown ahead of E3.
Kojima recently shared a still from the demo's title screen featuring Raiden and was apparently so wowed by the reaction, he sought permission to get additional footage released ahead of the games showing at the industry's annual Los Angeles extravaganza.
Kojima named the image of Raiden as Black/Dark Raiden, but in a further Tweet, hastily pulled down the shutters on further details saying, "I can't say much beyond this, but why he's 'Black/Dark Raiden' is a secret."Kojima then perhaps jokingly suggested that anyone seeking further details should be asking MGS: Rising producer Yuji Korekado via his Twitter feed (@Korekado_Yuji).
Kojima Productions has recently put a number of rather intriguing (or obscure depending on your point of view) MGS: Rising trailers and not too long ago, we also detailed what we want to see from the game. Let us know if MGS: Rising is getting your E3 juices flowing in the comments below.

The PlayStation Vita port of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath should be released in late June, according to statements made by Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray on the PlayStation Blogcast. "That's my intention," Gilray said. "The QA might say 'noooo' but that's my plan anyway."
The Vita version includes tweaks to make the game more natural on a handheld, like the ability to switch between third- and first-person views by double-tapping on the touchscreen, and using a "pinch" gesture to zoom.
Gilray also hopes to get the HD update of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee out in June. That's planned for PS3 and Xbox, though of course only the PS3 version was mentioned.

Kind of a turn-based strategy game, kind of a board game, Hydravision's upcoming PS3 download release Dungeon Twister is loaded with instability – as a feature, not a bug. Two players control teams of eight adventurers, each with different abilities, and try to capture areas of a maze-like dungeon. It's based on a board game (but not the Twister we normally associate with board games, which could theoretically be played in a dungeon).
Upon seizing control of a segment, players can then rotate the area, opening new avenues for themselves and confounding their opponents (or leading directly into traps). The goal is either to escape or defeat your opponent.
Dungeon Twister will take turns on PSN this summer.

As you may have noticed during online play, or perhaps heard about on an internet website, Street Fighter X Tekken's reccent Patch 1.04 introduced a major, game-breaking glitch, wherein any knife-like projectile will cause the game to hard freeze, should it come into contact with any fireball.
"The development team is currently examining the problem and planning to patch the game as quickly as possible," said producer Tomoaki Ayano in a statement to Capcom Unity. "The patch to fix the glitch should be released by mid June." Patch 1.04 was originally released with the intention of correcting infinite combos and that had been discovered.

We may not have any idea when to expect Retro City Rampage on the Vita (andvarious other platforms), but we're starting to see what it'll look like once it's finally done.
Potential rampagers need not worry about the Vita's smaller screen size, according to developer Brian Provinciano, as the portable version has been outfitted with two different scaling options; one that scales the game to ensure everything is clearly visible, and another that maintains the console version's original 16:9 aspect ration and stylized borders.
Touchscreen functionality has also been "tastefully" implemented, but only so far as to aid in navigating menus and during shopping sprees. "If you're an absolute purist," Provinciano adds, "you can still play the game 100% with the buttons." The Vita version also supports "continuous play" with the PS3 version, meaning that saves transfer between the two platforms and both versions share the same universal scoreboard.
Additionally, the Vita and PS3 ports will come packed with visual filters that make the game look like various systems of yore, such as the all-red "Virtual Burn" and monochrome "Brick Handheld" settings.

Elgato is releasing the Game Capture HD, a device that lets game-casters and YouTube walkthroughmavens shed low-resolution, over-the-shoulder smartphone footage once and for all. The sleek black box sits between console and display, enabling gamers to record their speed runs and kill records for the world to see. Xbox 360 users can daisy-chain the gear into their HDMI set-up, while PS3 users will have to use the bundled AV cable to circumvent Sony's stronger copy protection. The footage will then be compressed with the company's H.264 know-how and pushed to your PC or Mac for uploading. When it arrives at the start of June, it'll set you back $200 -- just giving you enough time to get practicing your soothing and confident narration voice.

Swedish developer Overkill Software has revealed that it is working with Valve on an "in-depth collaboration".
In a post on the studio's website Ulf Andersson, game director on multiplayer FPS Payday: The Heist, writes: "We are excited to be able to confirm that an in-depth collaboration between Overkill and Valve is currently in production.
"We are working on a very cool blend of Payday and Left 4 Dead. I am sure it is so exciting that it will have some players check into the hospital before we are done."
The announcement follows the release earlier this month of a patch for Payday: The Heist which added several hints to a Left 4 Deadlink - such as the below image showing some L4D health packs.

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 may be in trouble. Some lapsingtrademarks for the its title intimate the Gearbox-developed game is all but abandoned (or the name is changing), and our inquiries into Gearbox Software have yet to be answered. "We don't have anything to share at this point in time," an Ubisoft representative told Joystiq.
Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 was announced at last year's E3 ... and then that was it. We didn't hear a single thing after that preliminary announcement, even though the game was given a tentative 2012 launch window. Right now a cancelation isn't confirmed, but it's looking like these four will have something to be really furious about soon enough.

EA Sports Canada recently announced the feature set for NHL 13, which is due for release on September 11 in North America and September 14 in Europe on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Among the more noteworthy features listed are the additions of "True Performance Skating" and "EA Sports Hockey I.Q."
True Performance Skating is the latest in EA Sports' apparent efforts to introduce physics-based engines to player movement. Much like FIFA 12's Player Impact Engine, True Performance Skating promises to deliver the "explosiveness, momentum and top end speed displayed by today's NHL players," while utilizing over a thousand new player animations. The result, according to the team, should allow for more realistic and creative player movement.
NHL 13 also features EA Sports Hockey I.Q., and unfortunately it isn't a sports-themed quiz show. EA Sports elaborated on the shortcomings of the computer A.I. in last year's game, saying that "players were only aware of skaters in their immediate proximity and goalies could only react to the player in control of the puck." EA Sports Hockey I.Q. is expected to encourage, you guessed it, more intelligent decisions by computer-controlled players, who will now "read the whole ice."
The series' Be a GM mode, traditionally a single-player feature, will allow players to pit their teams against one another in a full 30-team online league inNHL 13. EA Sports Canada says there will be a "companion mobile app" for players to connect to their online leagues as well.
EA Sports also listed details on collector's edition versions of the game, which mostly includes Hockey Ultimate Team card packs. Both the standard andcollector's editions of the game are available to pre-order now from the Origin store.

In addition to the player-versus-player goodies the latest DC Universe Onlinedownloadable content pack provides, Mark Hamill will be returning to voice The Joker, and he won't be alone.
"The Last Laugh" DLC pack also features Arleen Sorkin, who returns as Harley Quinn, a role she played in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Adam Baldwin joins the two as Superman, his first video game voiceover role since, well, DC Universe Online. The content is free for Legendary subscribers and can be purchased by free and Premium users via PSN and the game's website.

It was bound to happen eventually, every other gadget does it. After debuting in a serious black sheen, the PS Vita is now getting a stylish white shell as well. Sadly, the shiny new pale version will only be available in Hong Kong at first, starting June 28th. There's no price premium for grabbing the lighter shade of handheld, though, if you want the matching white accessory pack, you'll have to pre-order. On the plus side, if you pledge now, they'll toss in the Trooper Pack, Armor Game case, 4GB memory card and (perhaps most importantly) a lint free cloth for free. Check out the PR after the break.

Sanzaru Games president Glen Egan has confirmed that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will be released on PS3 and Vita simultaneously this autumn.
The games will be identical and also allow for the transfer of save data between the two versions, much like Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
“The portable version will contain all the same awesome Sly Cooper action you will find on the PS3 along with cool Vita-specific features that incorporate the front and rear touchscreens and motion controls,” Egan said.
“The game will also feature cross-save capability, so you’ll be able to save the game from either machine and then pick up right where you left off — whether you’re at home or on the go.”
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was announced in March and followed the release of The Sly Cooper Collection on PS3 last November.

Heavy Rain director believes games should evolve through ideas, not just tech
David Cage will not join calls from the industry to rush out a new generation of game hardware.
The director of breakthrough hit Heavy Rain believes his Paris studio Quantic Dream would have few concerns developing on PlayStation 3 for another five years.
“To be honest, I’m not that interested in technology or the next generation of consoles,” Cage said in an interview with Develop.
“If we could continue with PlayStation 3 for another five years it would be fine with me,” he added.
Cage’s philosophy on next generation technologies comes from his wider viewpoint that games studios should be striving for more creative projects instead of technical advancements.
