Hi guys
Homebrew Name: Goldfever City
Coded By : Cau'X
Graphics by: Cau'X
English Translation: SeanPaul223
Bêta-Test: SeanPaul223
Goldfever City is really far from all.Far from the frontier, far from the railways...and from Civilization.
The town born when in the past years, few explorators found a lode gold in the desert. Then was a goldrush, and the city borned so with his own Saloon, bars, Jail, offices, bank, and of course, his Sheriff.
Today, gold is finished, but many inhabitants stayed, growing plants and selling vegetables in the nearest town, Walnut Groove.
At the very time I'm Writing these lines, Goldfever is about to fall into conflicts.Elections for the new mayer are coming and things are not gonna be allright with the return of Ted, or even Fred's Home Party.
As for me,I've ever stole Dave's horse... i'm planning to hold up the bank, and go on my way...
As the synopsys says here is Cau'X Prod last Brew..Goldfever City, a long seven month C coding Homebrew.I've Ported the Game into English so that English Community should enjoy, and I've got the honour to make the bêta test. Now we're releasing it to the Scene.
Hope you'll enjoy.

Sony has revealed that its PSP video on demand service Go!View will be in the UK on 30th June. It will be out for selected countries in mainland Europe next month.
This is the first "official" PSP service of its type in Europe, according to SCEE boss David Reeves, and is a joint venture with broadcaster Sky.
It will be available on a pay-per-view or subscription basis, and lets you download films or telly shows such as drama or sport in five easy steps: log on, choose what you want, use your PC to download it, transfer it to PSP, and then, er, something; presumably watch it.
Sony is also keen to expand this model to the PS3:
"It's also no secret that we'd like to launch a similar service on PS3... So watch this space," added Reeves during his Sony PlayStation Day keynote speech.
Meanwhile, those keen to get telly on their PS3 can always buy the PlayTV box that lets you record your favourite shows to your hard drive while you mow the lawn or watch another show at the same time.
It will cost EUR 99 (around GBP 80) and is out in September. Find out more over at GoPSPgo.co.uk.

Sony's PlayStation Day has been and gone. Here's everything that went down in London town.
Sony Japan's main man Kaz Hirai was backed-up by Euro boss David Reeves as they both revealed the year ahead for PS3 and PSP.
Here's the live text from the show. Screens later tonight:
- The show has started and Kaz Hirai has taken stage. Things have improved massively since launch, he tells the audience.
- Buzz, Motorstorm 2 and Killzone 2 lead this year's first-party titles, says Kaz. Supported by MGS4 and others from third parties.
- Kaze talks about the 'ten year cycle', says the potential of the PS3's power is massive.
- Appologises for Home delay. "I will not open up Home until im completley satisfied".
- 8 Million registered on PlayStation Network. "Huge opertunity for PS, one that requires a different way of thinking". Singstar Online is key to this, and Buzz Online will follow.
- About to pass back to SCEE boss David Reeves. "Moving forward the future of PlayStation firmly sits in Interactive Entertainment".
- "Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to meeting you later." Reeves back on stage. Says we'll get to play Home later. Yeah!
- Talking lots of PR magic. Says today won't be a traditional event, will be focusing on games rather than platforms.
- As of today we have sold more than 48 million PSPs. Announces 5m PS3s sold in Europe. "We have sold more PlayStation 3s in Europe than Xbox 360s, even though they launch 14 months before us."
- Moving on to look at PlayStation's user-generated content. Says you can customise your XMB and themes, which is well wicked.
- 220,000 copies of Singstar PS3 sold, and over a million songs downloaded. Girls.
- Now they're playing a video of a Wookie dancing to Singstar. We know it prints money, can we see Killzone now please?
- Now he's going on about Buzz. Export quizzes and stuff from your PC, play them on PS3. Just like pen and paper. LittleBig Planet looks much better, Reeves still reading from a press release. We can play it this afternoon. Yeah!
- LBP creation video rolls. It's Killzone... in LBP! Lots of crazy car courses, platforming carnage, rolly balls... just bliss.
- "PS3 is first and formost a state of the art games machine", says Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 demonstrates how to get the best from the PS3. "But as we know from the PS2, it's still early days yet."
- Killzone 2 out February next year. Trailer rolls. "Our War. Their Planet". Gameplay footage mixed with a logo getting the crap shot out of it. Looks terrific still. Playable today.
- Insomniac Games pres on stage to talk about Resistance 2. Says they focused on the four C's: Co-op, Community, Competitive and Campaign.
- "Every game released these days has to have a strong community." Says Insomniac's revamping the online Resistance site with online features.
- 8-player online co-op with its own campaign, own story. There are character classes as well, which sounds awesome. Footage rolls, "this is sixth months away from being on shelves."
- Online mutliplayer footage rolls, looks much better than the first game. Lots of grass. Pretty, pretty grass. "60-players in our battles".
- "More battles, more intimacy". Seperate squads with own objectives. "We don't have sixty players fighting in one small area." Every squad gets own rival squad. Reward system that rewards teamwork, i.e. leveling up. He's off stage, Dave back.
- "Another game coming out soon is Metal Gear Solid 4." Confirms exclusive MGS4 PS3 bundle, out for June launch.
- Motorstorm sold 3m worldwide. Introduces the sequel, which apparently has "incredible graphics". Creative Director Paul Hollywood on stage.
- "We havent just upgraded the graphics and put a 2 on the end". Says it's added ultra-aggressive AI and "even more brutal racing." New island setting is influenced by Hawaii. No hoola, no Elvis... apparently.
- 16 tracks in the new game, boots up one of them. "Pre-alpha, 40% complete". Look wicked, demonstrates the fancy plant tech by driving a buggy through the jungle. Boasts about water tech, which in reality looks a bit rubbish. Racing footage rolls, need more Pendulum.
- Talk about vehicles. Nothing new here. 4-player split-screen. If he says "brutal off-road racing" one more time, we're going to mental. He said it again. We HATE YOU.
- Mr. Cheese is gone. Dave's back and he's talking about something WICKED; EA DICE's Mirror's Egde.
- EA Man Sean is on stage. Yo Sean! Talking a bit about the story, but we just want to see the game in action.
- Says DICE is going to put you in an action game, instead of watching an action game. That means you'll be able to see her legs. Trailer rolls, it'll be on PSN later this week.
- In-game footage of Faith running across a rooftop, looks incredible. We ARE buying this game.
- Dave's back. No, don't go Sean! He's talking about sports games now. Urgh. Talks about sports games, mainly motorsport and footy.
- Says Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is the nuts. Already sold 1.5 million in Europe. We're waiting for him to say "brutal off-road racing".
- Sony has teamed up with Nissan to make the GT Academy, which is a European competition that mixes PS3 racing with proper real-life motors. Mike should put his name down for that, he once got to our house from Kent in 15 minutes, the nutter.
- Now a Nissan blokes turned up to talk PR. He's got a posh voice. "I often wondered if I could make the grade behind the wheel in a real race." Says thank to the GT Academy, gamers can now find out the answer to that question.
- Every round of the GT Acadmey will be filmed and made available on PSN, says Dave.
- Now talking about footy. Says Sony and SCEE sponsors FIFA, UEFA, so they're well into it, like. Rambles on about PS3 footy tournament. We don't care, show us games.
- Talking about Blu-ray, says its doing well in Europe. BDLive lets users interact with filsm on PS3, he says. To "show the potential of BDLive," here's some Aussie bloke from Sony Pictures.
- Lots of numbers. More than 1 out of 3 Blu-Rays sold is from Sony Pictures. Introducing "exciting interactive features", Walk Hard and The 6th Day were the first to have these. From June 16th the first BDLIVE disc will come to Europe; Men in Black. That was wicked, 10 years ago (cynical hat off now), promise. Blu-ray advert plays on the big screen.
- "Exciting" BD LIVE lets you connect to the internet and play online trivia games in Men in Black. We lied about the cynical hat; this sounds rubbish.
- "Time for Blu-ray to give something back," by making the PS3 the "only console" that plays the hi-def format. No 360 add-on, then?
- Trailer rolls for GO!LIVE movie service on PSP. Looks interesting. The service will launch next month. "It's no secret that we want to launch a similar service on PS3... so watch this space".
- Talking about Singstar, EyeToy and Buzz again, which have sold over 20 million combined. This bit really isn't for us.
- EyeToy Hero coming, comes with a toy sword that interacts with the camera. Have that, Wii.
- Echochrome video. Very 'lifestyle'. There's a bloke playing on the PS3, with his missus relegated to the PSP. We do that at home. We don't know what's going on in this video, there are men in white balaclavas pushing fruit...
- Wierd music stuff over, Dave's talking about Play TV. It's going to be on the show floor tonight, and will be out in September for 99 Euros (£78).
- Coming up to the end now. "Cast you mind to Games Convention in Leipzig last year", says Dave. Says Sony has lived up to all of its promises, sold over five million PS3s.
- "This is just the tip of the ice berg," says the future of PlayStation is looking very bright. We're off to play games and bop to Oakenfold...

Sony has unveiled a fancy EyeToy game for children that comes with its very own sword peripheral.
Dubbed EyeToy: Heroes, it will see you attempting to save the world by saving a cheerleader. Or more accurately, it will allow youngsters to muck about with a sword peripheral.
Sony Europe boss David Reeves did the unveiling at the just-this-minute-finished Sony PlayStation Day conference.
He also lifted the lid on a game called EyeToy: Pom Pom Party, which he said was obviously "for those girls with a passion for pom pom shaking".

Chart-Track has released finalised UK sales data for Grand Theft Auto IV's launch date and first full week, showing sales of 926,000 units for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions combined.
Day one sales were 631,000 units. The first week sales were spread across five days. According to Chart-Track, GTA IV software revenue is bigger than the entire software market revenue of any week so far this year after the first week of 2008.
Chart-Track also reported that the first week of GTA IV software units has already surpassed all but the top three All Formats titles of 2007 - FIFA 08, Brain Training and Call of Duty 4.
514,000 copies were sold for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and 413,000 copies were sold for Sony's PlayStation 3 - a split of 55 per cent to 45 per cent.
Chart-Track is reporting that GTA IV's launch had almost the same effect on console hardware sales for both systems - with PS3 hardware sales up 127 per cent from the previous week and Xbox 360 hardware sales up 125 per cent.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which launched on 29 October 2004, sold 501,000 copies on its first day and 677,000 units during its first week - which consisted only of two days. At the time it was released, the PS2 had an installed base of approximately 6.6 million.
San Andreas still holds the day one and week one record for the individual format, but GTA IV is the new record holder for all formats.

Well, that didn't work. Tearing out the May, June, July, August and September pages from our official 2008 Sackboy Calendar has utterly failed to bring us any closer to LittleBigPlanet's newly announced "October" release date. Speaking at Sony's PlayStation Day 2008 event in London, Sony bigwig Kaz Hirai confirmed that the burlap-bouncing, community-powered platformer would be gracing PlayStation 3 systems in that month when people dress up as pirates and vampires. Provided it doesn't slip again, LittleBigPlanet is going to make for quite the treat.

Take-Two has sued the Chicago Transit Authority for violating its free speech and contractual rights after the authority pulled ads for Grand Theft Auto IV on the transit system without explanation. Reuters reports that Take-Two accuses the CTA of violating the contract for the $300,000 ad campaign that involved running GTA IV ads around the transit system for six weeks between April and June.
The suit seeks an order for the CTA to run the ads, as well as at least $300,000 in damages. Reuters states the GTA IV posters were removed following a FOX news report on the ads. Now, we're not lawyers (although we do have one writing for us), so we can't say if the CTA violated a basic contract, but Chicago residents should let us know if they see the ads back up and snap a photo.

Today in NYC, Panasonic showed off its DMP-BD50, the company's first BD-Live Blu-ray 2.0 player—and the second in the market besides the PlayStation 3—setting the price at $700. It's an improvement over the DMP-BD30, which will stay on the market as a $500 step-down. In addition to BD-Live (and the requisite Ethernet port), it will decode all new DTS and Dolby Digital codecs internally, as well as bitstream them to a compatible receiver, if that's your preference. The player, initially announced at CES, will ship in "late spring," presumably the next 4-6 weeks, and will not need a firmware upgrade to be 2.0 compatible—a requirement of the $400 Sony BDP-S350 player due out around the same time.

Panasonic's SC-BT100 Blu-ray home-theater in a box made a sly appearance back at CES, but today we got up all in its face. The Blu-ray soul is basically Panny's BD-30 player (with the added mojo of the BD-50's Chroma processor). Rear speakers are wireless and produce virtual 7.1 sound, though you can add on two more for true 7.1. Supposedly the subwoofer is magically designed to reduce hissing with quiet rumblings—we certainly didn't notice any in the demo, but we heard smooth, cheesy jazz and the 18-wheeler/F-18 scene from Justin Long's fake Die Hard movie, so it was hard to gauge its effectiveness on the front. The sound certainly wasn't bad though—it'll go for $999 in late spring.

Killzone 2 will be hitting the Playstation 3 in February, David Reeves told journalists gathered in London for Sonys Gamers Day there today.
Not a whole lot of other information about the release, but several sites report that the game will be playable to the press both today and next week during the U.S. Gamers Day.
The news came following an announcement that LittleBigPlanet has been pushed back from a September launch date to October. SCEE also sales of the Playstation Portable, Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 in Europe and apologized for the delay of Home.

Resistance 2 will feature eight-player co-op which will have its own story, characters and rewards, Ted Price, president of Insomniac Games, told the folks at today's UK Sony Gamers Day.
Multiplayer will support up to 60 players and include Chimera, again, it will also be structured in a way to bring back a sense of intimacy. There will be squads within these mammoth fights, making the game feel more personal and filled with skirmishes instead of giant, faceless wars. The game will use some sort of system to make sure you always respawn near the same group of players, so you can really start to gun for them.
R2, which is six months from hitting shelves, will also include persistent levels which you earn by getting points for things like helping out your team.

Details are very sketchy, but SCEE and Nissan just announced the GT Racing Academy, which will give gamers a chance to show if they can drive in real life like they do in Gran Turismo. Every step of the academy will be filmed and later made available on the Playstation Network.
It sounds like it's connected to a contest that will give two luck people a four-month, real-life racing tutorial and then have them participate in the Dubai 24-hour race in January.
The vids will hit starting the PSN on May 23rd.

PlayStation owners around the world were treated to a Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0 update in firmware 2.20, which enabled the special features of BD-Live titles on the PlayStation 3, but outside of the U.S. that really didn't mean much...until now. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have found a way to make you buy Men in Black again as they announce the Will Smith / Tommy Lee Jones sci-fi classic (is it too early?) as the first BD-Live release for the international market.
"SPHE is delighted to bring BD-Live to International markets for the first time," stated Matt Brown, EVP, International, SPHE, "This follows a successful launch in the US in March and is just the start of the exciting possibilities that will soon be available on high definition Blu-ray Disc."
Interactive features include a BD-Live multiplayer interactive trivia game and exclusive downloadable theatrical previews. Finally, interactive trivia on Blu-ray. Hopefully they'll be kicking things up a notch with future interactive releases. Men in Black the You Might As Well Buy It Again On Blu-ray version will be out June 17th.

Siren Blood Curse is coming to the Playstation Network in twelve "TV-style, suspense-packed" downloadable episodes this summer, SCEE announced today.
The next-gen horror-survival title is set in the Japanese village of Hanuda, where a TV crew from America arrive to research the legend of the ‘Vanished Village’ where human sacrifice is said to have taken place thirty years ago. Players discover the horrific curse that haunts Hanuda and battle to save the village’s survivors from the living dead – a spine-tingling struggle that involves using the unique Sight-Jack system to view events from the angle of your undead pursuers. In a gaming first, Siren Blood Curse will be released episodically, keeping gamers on the edge of their seats until the next download arrives in PSN.

It looks like SCEE is getting into the video making business. The company announced today that they will begin touring Europe in search of the best in international music. The best groups will show up on episodes of Movement, on the Playstation Network, hosted by Spencer and Martin who will be driving around the continent in a VW Camper.
Movement (PSN)
Seeking out the greatest unsigned bands from across Europe, Movement is an exclusive PSN music experience which will open your ears, your PS3 and PSP to the best in international music. From French electronica to London grindie via melody driven rock from Germany, you’ll hear it all courtesy of hosts Spencer and Martin who are tracking down the sweetest sounds across the continent in their VW Camper. With exclusive downloads on PSN and performances at PlayStation Day, movement will culminate with one band being selected by Spencer and Martin to have a professional promo video made. Look out for the entire madcap adventure on PSN soon.
This is an interesting concept. I wonder if PSN is going to start producing other original video content.

Aww Europe, did you really think Sony would leave you out of the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots PlayStation 3 bundle loop? Of course not! Come June 12th, European gamers will be able to get their hands on their own MGS4 bundle, complete with PlayStation 3, SixAxis controller, and of course, a copy of the game. During his keynote speech at Sony PlayStation Day London '08, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe head David Reeves announced that the PS3 had officially overtaken the Xbox 360 in European sales.
I am delighted to be able announce today that we have sold more PlayStation 3s throughout Europe than Xbox 360 - even though they launched sixteen months before PS3.
More than 5 million PS3 systems have been sold across Europe, with PS2 and PSP numbers equally as impressive at 48 million and 12 million respectively.
These numbers are a testament to the strength of the PlayStation brand throughout our region, the ever-increasing number of titles being launched, the rich content on offer and its appeal to different demographics and cultures.
Different demographics and cultures that will likely viciously savage each other in the comments section following this news.

EA has announced the final two cover athletes for NCAA Football 09, scheduled to hit stores across North America on July 15 from EA Sports. Former Cal wide receiver, DeSean Jackson, will be the cover athlete on PlayStation 2 while former West Virginia Mountaineer Owen Schmitt can be found on the cover of the PlayStation Portable version of the game.
In three seasons at Cal, Jackson ranks third all time in receiving yards (2,423) and third in receiving touchdowns (22). He was rated as the #1 receiver in the nation by The Sporting News and Rivals.com going into his junior campaign. Jackson was a first team All-Pac-10 selection and led the nation in average punt return yards (18.2) in his sophomore season. In the recently held NFL Draft, Jackson was selected in the second round (49th overall pick) by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Schmitt, a tough-minded fullback, finished his West Virginia Mountaineer career as one of the greatest players in school lore. In his career, Schmitt earned 21 career starts and carried the ball for 1,003 yards, a 6.3-yard average, during his Mountaineer career.
NCAA Football 09 on PlayStation 2 will feature authentic collegiate animations, an all-new Mascot Challenge and bring to life the atmosphere, pageantry and tradition of college football.
