If you're not content to pick up Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in stores on a fancy Blu-ray disc, Sony has uploaded the game on their shiny new PlayStation Network store. The download will set your hard drive back at least 1.9 GB and your wallet $40 (same price as retail).
While not initially available on the PSN version, you can download the intro and ending films at your leisure to view (the latter unlocked only after beating the game, natch). However, a documentary on the series, "Beyond the Apex," appears to be exclusive to the Blu-ray version for the moment.

M-Cid (My Custom IDentity) today we share TriPingColors Complex. As you may know one color (on a screen like the psp) is composed of red, green and blue. The object of the game is simple, you will need to know these three colors proportional to find, as soon as possible and in a certain period of time, the right color and to mark maximum points.
This new version is called Complex, and it is not for nothing, because you must properly adjust the color of each branch of the figure and turns.
For 3 figures made the game a Level climbs.
1st floor: speed * 1, * 1 time.
2F: * 2 speed, time / 2. (4 item marked)
Level 3: * 3-speed, time / 3. (8 point scored)
(3 different speeds, March 3 different gauges time)

Sony typically won't allow adult-oriented games on their platforms, even though a few titles will often skirt close to the edge. However, this one steps over that line into full-on erotica, but because it's technically classified as a UMD, it locates that loophole and can arrive as an interactive virtual experience for the PSP in Japan.
It's called Bokudake No Kajitsu, developed by Jin Products and falling under the category of eroges ("gameplay animates in erotic fashion"). You must find love for three women: Rin, 19 years old, Hitomi, 25 years old, and Chizuru, 20 years old. However, these three ladies will be competing for the affections of only one man, so it appears to be a good old-fashioned cat fight premise...with plenty of anime nakedness worked in. As we just said, Sony wouldn't normally allow this "game" to appear on the PSP, but as it's described as using "system chapter and interactive menus," it can be classified as a UMD. If you're interested in giving this one a try - and you live in Japan - you can obtain more information by visiting the game/movie's official website. Just remember, this wouldn't hold an "M" rating if it had to go through the ESRB as a game; it would quickly get slapped with the "AO" ("Adults Only") rating.
So this is an interesting little loophole. How many more of these will we see? You know, "games" that aren't really games but the user can interact with them in a certain way, like Bokudake No Kajitsu, here? Leave it up to Japan to find a way to produce their much-sought-after anime erotica for the PSP, although we seriously doubt this will ever make its way to the US.

Sony has decorated its freshly relaunched PlayStation Store with the Metal Gear Online beta client, the Broken Mirror expansion for Warhawk, and a Deadly Dragons pack for Lair, marking a return to its usual schedule of Thursday updates.
There's also an "Everyone's a Rat" Grand Theft Auto IV trailer, which you can see over on Eurogamer TV right now if you can't be bothered to go home and download it.
All of these are free apart, from the Warhawk expansion, which costs GBP 3.99.
Remember, the Metal Gear Online beta doesn't start until Monday; the Lair content is accompanied by a title update adding analog controls; and Broken Mirror has several fresh maps and an armoured vehicle to ferry troops around in.
The PlayStation Store was recently refurbished to be quicker and easier to navigate, with the fresh look released on Tuesday along with some bits and pieces of content.
Some of you have since complained that it is actually slower than it used to be, but Sony assured everyone this was only because hordes of you were rushing to use it.

Like a stream of light, he arrives just in time -- Spider-Man is coming back to videogames.
Activision announced today that Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is currently in the works from Shaba Games and Treyarch for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Nintendo DS, Wii and PC. Although it wasn't ready to say too much about the action-adventure game, Activision did tell us that Web of Shadows will be set in a free-roaming, open-ended New York that combines web slinging with customizable superpowers. There will be the traditional combo attacks on the ground, but the game will also feature a brand new emphasis on vertical combat as gamers take Spidey to the skies and duke it out with bad guys.
However, it might not just be foes who are getting socked in the jaw. According to Activision, Spider-Man's latest adventure will let players choose how they want to play -- if folks want to be the friendly neighborhood superhero, they can, but they can also ignore missions and be the anti-hero who is only looking out for himself. Marvel heroes and villains will pop up in the adventure, and gamers will have the ability to change sides as they see fit.
Activision is keeping its lips sealed about what Spider-Man is up against in the new game but we know it's a threat to the entire world and that it can do some real damage to New York. From the one screenshot and teaser trailer, it looks like Spidey's up against a number of villains who can redecorate buildings and create giant oozing black tendrils. The black gunk and the alien-looking dudes crawling on the side of the building in the teaser makes us think symbiote, but there's no way to know what's going on at this point.
Still, you might be able to get some inside info if you're lucky enough to be at the New York Comic-Con this week. At Activision's booth, the company will be holding voiceover auditions for the title. Videos of the performances will be posted on the Spider-Man: Web of Shadow's website where the community will vote for who they want in the game.
Be sure you check IGN tomorrow for an exclusive Q&A with the folks behind Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, and feel free to hit up Yahoo!'s coverage of this morning's news.

If you're looking for something to moan about this morning, here it is; the PlayStation 3 version of GTA IV features a five minute mandatory install.
A 1UP writer posted about the install on the NeoGAF forum, after playing the PS3 version at Rockstar's iron fortress.
Five minutes isn't nearly as bad as 22, but it's still been enough to send the internet barmy on the forums. We can't see what the fuss is about, personally. Doesn't every PS3 game feature an install these days?
As for the Xbox 360 version, there are also rumours this morning that that version will feature an "optional" hard drive install, although that's still very much unconfirmed.
We're currently awaiting reply from the lovely chaps at Rockstar about the hard drive controversy, and will let you know what it has to say.

Infinity Ward has said the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4 on PS3 will be released on 1st May.
Europeans will be given a double experience weekend immediately after launch, from Friday 2nd May to Sunday 4th May. You will also have a chance to shoot the developers in games on that Friday night, from 7pm to 10pm GMT.
Meanwhile, those of you in the US will be playing the maps a little earlier on 24th April, with your double experience weekend to follow immediately after from 25th to 27th April.
Infinity Ward also hopes to have its PC Community Map Contest open and receiving submissions by the end of the week.
We had a look at the Variety Map Pack when it was released for Xbox 360 earlier this month. We liked Creek and Chinatown more than Killhouse and Broadcast.
The Variety Map Pack cost 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60) on Xbox 360. There is currently no word on a PS3 price.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is likely to catch (and set fire to) your attention on PS3, 360 and PC primarily. However, a PS2 version is in development and is described by Pandemic as "actually a true sequel to Mercs 1 developed by a dedicated team".
Following our Mercenaries 2 interview the other day, creative director Cameron Brown explained that the game has been "specifically designed for the PS2 and the limitations of the platform, so it doesn't have co-op, for example, and is a little more designed around the hardware".
"The two games are loosely connected; they have the same story, the same characters, we shared assets. But they filled out an entirely separate game world and reinterpreted a lot of the mission designs," he said.
The PS2 version of Mercenaries 2 is due out on 5th September alongside the next-gen/current-gen/whatever versions. Check out our Mercenaries 2 interview for more on what to expect.

Realtime Worlds has told GamesIndustry.biz that will be "looking seriously" at the possibility of bringing MMO All Points Bulletin to the PS3.
So far, APB has only officially been confirmed for PC and Xbox 360. But an article published by The Scotsman this morning suggested the game could come to PlayStation in the future. The article also quoted Realtime boss David Jones as saying APB is slated for a 2009 launch.
Studio manager Colin MacDonald has since clarified the situation, sort of, telling GamesIndustry.biz: "The situation is that yes, all the consoles are an option for us, and we'll be looking at them. But there's nothing decided, nothing to report at the moment I'm afraid.
"Yes, we'll be looking seriously at it," He continued. "But that doesn't mean it's going ahead, and it doesn't mean it's not going ahead." Right.
For those who aren't familiar, All Points Bulletin is a GTA-style MMO. It's looking rather spanky, judging by what was shown at this year's GDC.

If you read issue 100 of PSM3 magazine you'll know that as well as giving the skivvy on TimeSplitters 4, Free Radical boss Dave Doak also said that if we could drum up enough support, they'd remake TimeSplitters 2 in HD.
PSM3 has already had hundreds of emails, but it's not enough; send a mail to this e-mail address to show your support.
Or, if you're feeling particularly enterprising, set up an online petition or blog to plead the cause.
Imagine classic Splitters 2 multiplayer, but online with sexified HD visuals.
We're also creating a Facebook group, so join the PSM3 group (search for 'PSM3' in groups) for a link and more information about the campaign.
Together, we could make it happen.
