Yeah yeah, fx prefix, just happened to be the name of the folder, because powerspoof was taken in my archives of source(tried making it a while back and failed).
I somehow misplaced my battery and needed to install a game patch, so I cooked this up, and installed some patch without a battery, that normally requires like 75% battery, which is 100% pointless. It even unloads itself after patching the functions.
Readme:
Quite simple, just stick it in seplugins, than add it to your game.txt and/or vsh.txt, then watch your system settings always think you have a battery at 100%, when it reality, you (probably) do not.
The main use for this is those games that install updates sony-style, and require 75% or so battery, when that is totally unnecessary and a waste of your time, because if you run out of battery - oh well, start over, nothing harmed, as it does not flash a thing.
How NOT to use:
During flashing(specifically flash0) things that require 75% battery. Not a bright idea. You can, but if you screw up, not my problem .
How it works:
Patches
1. scePowerGetBatteryPercent to always return 100 via jr ra->addiu $v0, $zero, 100
2. scePowerIsLowBattery to always return 0 via jr ra->addu $v0, $zero, $zero
3. scePowerIsBatteryExist to always return 1 via jr ra->addiu $v0, $zero, 0x0001
THEN
Unloads itself, so it won't make your kernel memory all lame and sliced up

News/release from BenHur
About teaching an old dog new tricks: the new version of intraFont supports scrolling text - just like in the XMB, when there's not enough space to display a whole line at once. There are four different scrolling styles: left, seesaw (back&forth), right and through (sweep from right to left).
intraFont 0.26 is now available. Changes:
bug fixed where text could be mis-aligned after newline character (thanks to Slasher)
bug fixed in multi-byte string parsing (thanks to xart)
in scrolling text newline characters are replaced by spaces (to prevent graphical glitches)
Outlook: In the next version I plan to add chinese characters and support for traditional (Big5) and simplified (GBK) chinese.
See you, BenHur

News/release from MoOm
Boombastic is a bomberman-like where the player controls a tank that can drop bombs or rockets draw. The goal is to be the last remaining tank life on the plateau.
The animation, graphics and I. A. are very successful and fun to play is present. The stress of choosing the place where we set the bomb is there and get to win, at least in "Hard" is not easy but possible.
This game is a serious competitor to the podium and the only thing missing to make it an unavoidable homebrew is the ability to play through a number of ad-hoc mode, or better yet, via the Internet. Let us hope that the author will discuss these options in a future version.

News/release from EXTER.
The Rubik's Cube is a 3D mechanical puzzle invented in Ernő Rubik. In a classic Rubik's Cube, each of the six faces is covered by 9 stickers, among six solid colors (traditionally white, red, blue, orange, green, and yellow). A pivot mechanism enables each face to turn independently, thus mixing up the colors. For the puzzle to be solved, each face must be a solid color.
The controls in this homebrew are designed to easily perform "Move notation" algorithms.
From the Readme:
Quote:
PSP Rubik's Cube v1.00 by EXTER.
Controls:
R: Front move.
Sqaure: Left move.
Circle: Right move.
Triangle: Up move.
Cross: Down move.
Left: Rotate cube left.
Right: Rotate cube right.
Up: Rotate cube up.
Down: Rotate cube down.
L + R: Front Inverted move.
L + Sqaure: Left Inverted move.
L + Circle: Right Inverted move.
L + Triangle: Up Inverted move.
L + X: Down Inverted move.
L + Left: Rotate cube clockwise.
L + Right: Rotate cube counter-clockwise.
Select: Undo move.
Hold Start for 3 seconds to scramble the cube.
Hold L + Start for 3 seconds to solve the cube.
Use the analog stick to peek at the sides of the cube.
Note:
Tested on 5.00 M33-6, but it should work on any homebrew-enabled firmware.

News/release from MrE
Hi all,
I'm finally releasing a preview version of VIVA (VIVA Is A Visual shell Altnerative).
Admittidly the preview doesn't have much linked yet, we're releasing for you to get your comments in on the UI and to prove we have beat Project4 in 2 main aspects.
What the version has:
Ability to load the XMB or VIVA during boot time, pressing the left shoulder button loads the XMB, not pressing loads VIVA. No files have to be written unlike Project4.
ISO/CSO loading (fixed path) with the M33 and NP9660 driver, Project4 only had the ISOFs driver.

News/release from diedel
Finally the long awaited Allegro PSP port is finished!
It's based on the 4.3.10plus Allegro version. It's near complete and ready to use for the final programmer.
Now you can program your PSP applications using Allegro and try to port the existing ones: http://www.allegro.cc/
As a young port it needs much testing so your feedback is expected and welcome. You can use the Allegro maling lists at http://alleg.sourceforge.net/maillist.html or the PS2dev forums. The spanish speakers can post in the PSP.SceneBeta forums.
Until the Allegro SVN repository is not updated with the PSP port patch you can download the Allegro library sources in the links section.

News/release from sceners
Requeriments: slim only, it uses extended slim memory.
Instructions: copy to root and run an umd. The plugin will automatically log the umd driver read petitions in RAM. Whenever you want the log to end, press L+R in the game and the log will be written to ms0:/drivers.txt.
Caution: if you log an umd or an iso in normal mode (with umd required), DO NOT USE slim cache.
When comparing two drivers.txt, make sure you compare lines that are equal (except in time).
Don't forget to disable the plugin when you have finished to use it, as it may break some homebrews.

News/release from pspflashsystem
Hi,
I turn on the forum to publish the 6th version prxutility + + providing many new and participating in competitions pspgen.com
Without further ado here is the CHANGELOG:
Hide / Show line numbers | Hide code | Select All
********************** Of New prxutility + + version 6.0 (final version for the competition organized by PSPGEN.COM ):********** ************
* Code reorganized and optimized
* Compatibility with firmware 4.01 M33, 5.00 M33 and 5.02 GEN
* Separation now prxutility + + prx into two:
- One for xmb (VSH)
- One for game
* New in the Information menu (on the battery ...):
- The menu has been slightly modified level available on the screen
- The time remaining is shown otherwise façcon more understandable:
now there are a remaining time in hours and minutes remaining that lets you know precisely the remaining
- Add the date in the form day / month / year
- Addition of hours in the form (s): minute (s): second (s)
- You can now know the current thread running
- Added display your PSP firmware
- Added model Pommel
- The menu information can now be fully translated (in English (file: trad.en this in the "language" of prxutility + +) or French (file: trad.fr this in the "language" of prxutility + +))
* All keys prxutility + + are now customizable:
go to the files in the "configuration" of prxutility + +:
- Or prxutility [VSH]. Ini to change the keys used by prxutility + + in xmb
- Or prxutility [game]. Ini to change the keys used by prxutility + + in game
This allows the user greater ease of use in games, homebrews ...
* Add a file explorer and folders that allows both games, homebrews in the xmb:
- Consult both the memory stick, the flash0 the flash1 the Flash2 and Flash3 by simply pressing START
- Delete files, folders (but if the files are present in a folder, it will not be deleted but will only files deleted).
However, the suppression is possible only in the memory stick to "protect" users who are not accustomed to handling flash0 :/...
- Launch of eboot, prx, iso and cso
* Now when you access a menu of prxutility + + (but also for the file explorer) the keys xmb or homebrews, games are blocked to improve the comfort of navigation in the menu prxutility + +
* Prxutility + + 6.0 also allows you to start the recovery in full sail it ETDE xmb like the custom firmwares GEN, however:
- To save the change: just select exit recovery menu and then press the keys prxutility + + to leave the recovery.
If you do not want to save the changes, simply press the keys prxutility + + to leave the recovery.
In both cases, the PSP rebootera then.
- The recovery can not be launched in full or homebrew games
* Creating a history of access to the xmb and play, with homebrew:
- Creation of a text file in the folder prxutility + + (named for lastaccessxmb.txt xmb access and access to lastaccessgame.txt in game)
which included the date and time of last access
- While also creating a history in the "historyaccessxmb" for VSH and historyaccessgame "game for having access to all xmb and game (with date and time of access each time) (these files are located in the prxutility file + +)
- Possibility to erase the entire history (text + historical record) or the game xmb
* Add in the Configuration menu to release or (re) block keys (the xmb, games ...) in access menus prxutility + + (except the file browser)
* Adding a 3-second delay before you can view the menus (to prevent bugs in the start of the PSP)
* Another important novelty of prxutility + + is the integration of a keyboard rather easy to use (by pressing L and R buttons by default, but modifiable see above).
Abbreviation of certain information on the keyboard:
- ENTER = before the text (to save a file or start the application whose path has been entered in the text box)
- DEL = delete the last character of your sasi
- Ms0: / = shortcut that enables direct "ms0: /" in the text box
- SPACE space
- TXT = toggles in the way of writing text (ie "Text Writer" see below)
- APPL = toggles in launch mode of application (ie "Launch App" see below)
- JUM = line
- TYPE = switching between the mode of writing upper and lower case
The keyboard can be two major tasks:
- The first (entitled "Text Writer") allows you to write text directly from the xmb or in game, handy if you want to write a note to remember.
To save what you wrote, simply select JUM (= line) and write directly on the new space without the path where you want to register: there is a keyboard in the "ms0: /" which lets you select when to view directly into the area before
"ms0: /" which makes your life easier ^ ^. Example: You can enter as a way: "ms0: / blabla.txt. After entering the path: START press ENTER or select the keyboard to register
- The second (entitled "Lauch App") lets you eboot, iso, cso prx and entering the road from the keyboard and pressing START or selecting ENTER
In the "Text Writer", the number of lines written is displayed and you are entitled to a maximum of 250 lines
* Added a new customizable from its memory stick without touching the flash0:
system_plugin_bg.rco;
- Reminder:
* Tuto:
create a "theme" at the root of the memory stick;
put (s) file (s) you want (but belong to the files cited by customizable prxutility + +) in this case;
* + + Prxutility checks for these files to launch the PSP in order to prevent bugs
* If you are in 4.01 M33 you can use this feature, but not to the file "osk_plugin_500.rco" in the "theme" because it can lead to bugs (freeze the PSP)
* The bus speed has been increased and increased to 32 instead of 28 MHz in order to have a better record of its economy mode when the battery
* Now when HOLD is activated, the PSP is no longer in the battery saving mode using frozen (but still normal mode HOLD ie with only the buttons blocked).
* To switch to the battery saving mode with keys locked, simply put the analog stick down and activate the same time HOLD
* The history and the credentials of the Internet browser of the PSP were deleted in more appronfondis (prxutility + + delete cookies from now flash1: /)
* Fixed many bugs:
- The bug that causes prolonged support of keys (including pes2009) was set
- No problem slow to point out
- The vshmenu appears now normally
***************** Installation (change ):************************

Krakatos has posted a new versionn of the PS2 Emulator for Windows, heres whats new:
OK, time to do it once again. Once again, Vtlb only
Pcsx2 Playground beta release 626
Well, the big news is, Tri-ace games now go in-game, if the appropriate gamefix is selected. Don't expect them to be perfect, they are NOT. But they go in-game! Huge improvement. You may have to skip movies with Start, but hey they go in-game.
Be sure to delete the ini, as always!
Changelog
- Tri-ace games now go in-game with the appropriate Gamefix selected. We're talking of Star Ocean 3, Valkyrie Profile 2, Radiata Stories
- More Fatal Frame 1 fixes
- More speed optimizations, varies strongly from game to game, some show no increase at all
- More code cleanups and optimizations
- Rogue galaxy no longer need the gamefix to work
- Changed default roundmodes, you will probably have to change advanced roundmodes a lot less in order for games to work
Known Issues:
Still no vuskip....
Enjoy

description
In this exciting, action strategy game, players fight on the side of both Good and Evil in all the biggest battles from The Lord of the Rings movies. The Battlefront format allows them to switch between characters at will, to suit the circumstance or their style, reliving – and even reinventing – the chaotic and engrossing conflicts from the films as they choose how best to tackle their objectives and defeat their enemies. In online multiplayer, gamers can choose to be Evil from the outset.

It won't instill gamers with the same red-faced anger as EA's fizzled plan to offer for-pay weapons in Battlefield: Bad Company; instead, the newly released "Time is Money Pack" for Skate 2 will simply make those who buy it feel varying degrees of guilt, regret and perhaps even fear. That's because, for 400 ($5) on XBLM or $4.99 on the PlayStation Store, owners of the game can literally pay their way past the effort it would take to unlock everything in the game.
The "everything" in question includes "all locations, skaters and gear that can be earned by playing through Skate 2's career and online modes," according to the DLC's description. So, basically, you're paying for access to content that's already in the game. Or, to put it another way, you're paying five bucks for a cheat code. A downloadable code, if you will. Next thing you know, people will be paying for good grades and -- who knows -- even Senate seats. Oh, wait ...

Nathan Drake, Nathan Drake, does whatever ... a Nathan Drake ... can? Well, in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves -- we wonder if Sly Cooper's among them? -- Drake can clearly cling to new types of cover and sneak up on thieve-ier thieves, grab their shields, and basically do a whole heck of a lot more than he could in the first game. Which is good, right? It sure looks good in these direct-feed shots from developer Naughty Dog, which are both pretty and high in "res."

Have you been noticeably irked by some of Resistance 2's precious little "features" (i.e. bugs)? Fear not, true believer, patch 1.40 is on its way and coming Monday, January 26. If you've noticed your multiplayer level inexplicably reset to one, you'll now get it back to the proper level, plus whatever experience you earned post-reset.
The update will also correct Trophy errors, such as the one requiring 10,000 kills -- if you've done the deed but not gotten the reward, this patch will retroactively apply it.

When it was released earlier last year, Burnout Paradise set a new standard of vehicular mayhem, and Criterion Games increased the car carnage by supporting the game with additional content. According to Criterion's website, on February 6, the two latest packs for the game will be released to further improve the racing (and crashing) experience. The first pack is known as the Party Pack, and will allow you and up to seven other friends to play through stunt, speed and skill challenges to see who's the best racer in your group. Stunt challenges will involve jumps and tricks, while Speed challenges have quick time trials and time tests and Skill Challenges focus on racing through oncoming traffic and drifting. The Party Pack will be a premium pack, although no price was revealed on the website.
The second pack will be free, and will feature a large number of adjustments. The first is the inclusion of a Burnout Paradise Store, which will allow players to purchase any of the upcoming content for the game without having to back out of the game itself. This will include items like the Legendary Cars or Island packs when they become available.
Vehicles will receive a significant overhaul, making the handling on the earliest cars more accessible and easier to Burnout newcomers. This means these earlier cars will be harder to crash and harder to spin out, but will operate at a slower pace. What's more, players will be able to evaluate the cars that they have in the Junkyard, making it easier to choose the right car based on its stats. Cars will also naturally right themselves in the midst of a barrel roll if you hit a split ramp. The Stunt Run Timer has been adjusted to run slower, while the difficulty of all events in the game has been modified to take the new car speeds into effect.
Road Rage has received an overhaul, removing the time that's added whenever you hit the target number of cars. That will make it much harder for people to exploit the mode to rack up larger scores. Objects that you can interact with in the Burnout world have been redesigned, so Billboards will show up as Red, Smashes will be yellow and Super Jumps will be blue. These objects will also pulse, which should help you discover where they are and take advantage of them in the game.
Finally, a long awaited change is the inclusion of restarting an event. Previously, there was no way to immediately restart a race or event, forcing you to start all over from the beginning. That could be extremely inconvenient, especially if you'd made a mistake halfway across a city spanning race. Now, you no longer have to drive all the way back to the starting location. Instead, you'll instantly warp back to the start and leap back into the race. Finally, PS3 and PC players will discover an exclusive feature: an in-game browser that is designed to bring a new feature to the game known as the Criterion Games Network, which will be explained by Criterion Games next week.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 developer EA Los Angeles has explained why PS3 owners have had to wait so long for the RTS title's release.
"I think we just announced it too soon to be perfectly frank," EALA senior producer Amer Ajami told us adding that the dev's single core engine meant "it just took us longer" to get the game finished for PS3.
While PS3 owners have had longer to wait than PC and 360 gamers, who got the game in October and November 2008 respectively, the C&C Red Alert 3 Ultimate Edition for PS3 will feature a host of platform-exclusive bonus content, including five new multiplayer maps, when it finally deploys in March.
Ajami also said that the developer could bring the recently announced PC Red Alert 3 expansion pack, Uprising, to consoles at some point.
"We've only announced it for PC so far but we haven't ruled out doing some kind of console release," he said.
"We probably won't release it as a retail release. If we do decide to do it for 360 or PS3 it'll be as a piece of DLC. But again, that decision has yet to be determined."
Sounds as good as confirmed to us. Look out for our Uprising preview later today.
