On March 26 Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna becomes Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna Portable. We’ve seen other arcade ports come to the PSP, but this one is rather unusual since Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna has a pod-like arcade cabinet.
Not sure how the novelty of sitting in a dome is going to transfer to a tiny PSP screen, but Namco Bandai probably picked the PSP because of the popularity of ad-hoc Monster Hunter linkups. Similar to the PSP Monster Hunter games Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna has a network feature. Eight players can link up and battle in four vs. four Gundam matches presumably in the comfort of a fast food restaurant. Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna is bound to bring in cash for Namco Bandai and McDonalds.

For the Disgaea fans to cheap to import or too unversed on the English language to read this article, Square Enix is delivering Disgaea 3 to European PlayStation 3 owners next month.
Squeenix plans on liberally distributing the latest Nppon Ichi prinnyfest, Disgaea 3, throughout PAL territories come February 20th. The latest game in the series of course makes the jump to the PlayStation 3, without any of that pesky updating the game for the current generation of consoles stuff. That just complicates things.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “With Disgaea 3, Nippon Ichi have created a wonderful world full of bizarre characters and deep, addictive gameplay. I hope everyone enjoys playing this unique and rewarding title.”
Well of course you do, Mr. Yamamoto! If everyone enjoyed playing Diagaea 3, it would be a financial windfall!
Of course it will probably only attract the few die hard fans that haven't already imported it, but we can dream.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has confirmed that the PS3's White Knight Chronicles is coming to North America, though no release window has been announced. This should come as good news to JRPG fans, especially those who like having "Chronicles" in their titles.
In an interview with GameTrailers, Hino also dances around the issue of the game's online features and whether cross-region play will be possible.

Media Molecule's platformer and form-your-own-platter, LittleBigPlanet, has earned itself "Gold" status in the UK, as awarded by the ELSPA group to titles that sell over 200,000 copies. As Edge Online points out, this comes after the game fell out of the all-format top ten just one week after its fourth-place debut. Sales are said to have been buoyed by a strong TV advertising campaign and, presumably, mankind's inalienable love for squishy sack persons.
Other notable recipients of the gold in them thar prestigious hills are Bethesda's post-apocalyptic Fallout 3, Ubisoft's pre-apocalyptic Far Cry 2 and Blizzard's socially apocalyptic Wrath of the Lich King. ELSPA also awarded "Platinum" status -- that's for selling between 300,000 and 600,000 units -- to Fable 2, which can be apocalyptic if you play as a complete bastard.

Technical Audio Devices (TAD), a subsidiary of Pioneer, has a little something to show audiophiles that may lure them away from their CD transports yet -- a new 2-channel audio format for Blu-ray discs that it unapologetically claims "rivals 2-channel analog sound." We're not sure if that means reel-to-reel or vinyl is in the crosshairs, but the company is putting its apparently-unnamed format up for demo at CES. The demos are being hosted by none other than audiophile classic Sheffield Labs recording engineers Bill Schnee and Doug Sax, who have picked out some choice cuts to be played on pro-level TAD Compact Reference monitors and associated electronics; no word on if whiskey is part of the demo.

After a couple weeks in which the 360 posted better sales numbers than the PS3 and it was revealed that Sony inadvertently funded Microsoft's next-gen development efforts, you'd think Microsoft execs would be getting a little cocky, but it sounds instead like they're expecting a renewed offensive from Sony based on price. That's direct from the 360's director of product management Aaron Greenberg, who told Edge that MS "absolutely expects" a PS3 price cut in the next few months, and that the team is "frankly surprised it's taken this long." Of course, we've been hearing tons of PS3 pricing speculation from all corners lately with no change to that $399 MSRP, so we'll see how it goes.

Noeffex has updated his Socom FTB2 Cheat Device, heres whats new:
Version 1.8 [Documented] Changelog:
-Thanks to a recent patch in the debug library, I was able to remove almost all, if not all flicker caused by _pspDebugScreenClearLine.
-Removed the Anti-Server lock as it was removed, but not completely removed anyhow
-Added an animations applier as a replacement for the anti-server-lock. Has a variety of animations
-Fixed the massive overflow problem that 1.70 was absolutely plagued with. If someone had told me sooner..in that retrospect, any problems, pretty please email me at nofx@tshcodes.com
-A variety of other things that I forgot to open the changelog to document.
-There is a bug that I'm assuming that is caused by the clearline thing, but I really, really don't care. If anyone cares, email me and I'll work on it. Until then, the very first bar of the title will flash whenever you enable clearline(by pressing a variety of buttons, whenever it changes a string).
There may be other changes, but I've been sick and have been very
forgetful. In addition, reports have it that the new firmwares build,
after recent fixes, works with 3.80.

Nick Swardh has once again updated the video converter for the PSP, heres whats new:
As promised, here's a quick updated version with the systray icon bug fixed . I also threw back the "Force Conversion" option in there. It might come in handy if a video "refuse" to be converted by some reason.

Bandai Namco's Mobile Suit Gundam Senjo no Kizuna is one of the most popular arcade attractions over in Japan. But there'll be no need to wait in line to play the next iteration of the series.
According to a an online retail listing, Bandai Namco will be adapting the arcade title to the PSP. The game will be known as Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna Portable.
While obviously not replicating the virtual-reality feel of the deluxe arcade unit, the PSP version will replicate the team-based play mechanics. The game promises wireless play for up to eight players. Those who do not have their own copy will be able to take part via game sharing.
Bandai Namco has plans for a number of updates to make the game more PSP friendly. The game will be faster, with button-based controls, and will also offer changeable viewpoints. Also in the works is a mission mode, offering solo players a large number of missions ranging from beginner to advanced level.
The retailer lists a March 26 Japanese release for Senjo no Kizuna Portable.
Bandai Namco hasn't formally announced the game yet, but considering that this retailer tends to be pretty reliable and that the PSP has become the must-own machine for Gundam fanatics, expect to hear something in the coming days.
