Over the weekend, a handful of tipsters sent Gran Turismo fansite GT Planet photos of what appeared to be retail versions of Gran Turismo 5. The photographic evidence began to pile up, and it seems that some gamer slash gearheads in Europe are already playing the game -- this is, of course, after the game was delayed to an unknown release date. Additionally, the game's entire Trophy list has been revealed, adding fuel to the fire.
At the very least, this confirms GT5 director Kazunori Yamauchi's statement about discs for the game already being in production, though it doesn't put us any closer to knowing when exactly the game will finally arrive at retail. Will GT5 follow the path of the Sega Saturn and simply become available "right now," whenever the publisher deems it so? It certainly seems possible as of this report. But then, we all know how well that went for Sega's game console.

We know you probably shut your brain off after reading the words "PlayStation Lounge," assuming it was just a newly opened Home Space -- fortunately, that's not the case. Sony announced that tomorrow afternoon, it will turn the ground floor of its HQ in New York into the aforementioned Lounge, where shoppers can play demos of upcoming PS3 and PSP games, or test out currently available products like PlayStation Move.
Tomorrow's opening day festivities will see attendees shmoozing with a man-sized Sackboy, taking part in raffles for PlayStation Move bundles and drinking expensive martinis while enjoying a live performance from Robert Goulet. Actually, we made that last thing up, but what kind of a "Lounge" would it be if that option wasn't made available?

A bunch of leaked images from a beta testing version of Home reveals some of the new features set to arrive in the 14. Update for PS3's virtual world, Home.
Sony announced over the weekend that an update was on the way, but only voice chat and improved wardrobe features were detailed in its partial list of changes.
But a new bunch of shots show that users will also be able to set their avatar status, so other Home-goers will know at a glance what mood you're in or if you want to play a game - a much requested feature according to PS Lifestyle. This may even change your avatar's facial expression, it reports.
Also on the list is an improved PDA menu system for easier navigation of its menus, particularly in the wardrobe department.
Players will also be able to buy a pet lizard, which by the looks of it wanders around aimlessly.
Sony promised to detail more features for update 1.4, which is says will have an "enormous impact on [Home's] users and developers alike", this week.

Movie streaming service LOVEFiLM is set to launch on PlayStation 3 this Wednesday, it has been confirmed.
LOVEFiLM's announced the news on its own site, which should come as a surprise to, well, nobody.
PlayStation 3 users with a LOVEFiLM membership will be able to stream thousands of titles for free as well as browsing its 62,000-strong library of DVDs, Blu-rays and games.
Among the movies available for gratis streaming are Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, I Am Legend, Beowulf, Let The Right One In, V For Vendetta and Mean Girls.

Wasn't that old PS3 Bluetooth headset big and dull? Thank goodness Sony has unveiled a new one.
This one's shiny and 30 per cent smaller, and has noise cancellation as well as a High-Quality mode for crisp and clear sound.
Like the PS3 pads, the headset has a mini-USB socket so it can be cabled to the console - enabling charging and auto pairing (getting your PS3 to recognise the mic).
The headset has six hours of charge, an easily findable mute button and a charging cradle. Incidentally, the headset can be used as a desktop mic while in its cradle.
The PlayStation blog prices the Bluetooth headset at 50 dollars. It's coming out this month.
Sony Europe doesn't have any local details yet.

Sony reckons half of the people who want to buy PlayStation Move are parents.
The family vote has lead to great success for the Wii, but Sony's US blog goes on to insist that 60 per cent of the people who want Move already own Nintendo's console - they want to upgrade their motion-sensing experience apparently.
Since May, we're told, the number of people who want PlayStation Move has doubled. Of those, 30 per cent are women and 25 per cent are over 35 years-old - the average age is 28.
PlayStation Move trickled out in mid-September in Europe. Sony's Wiimote-like controller - which has a glowing bauble on top - has been in relatively high demand, although Sony never alluded to big upfront hardware sales like Microsoft is for Kinect. One million Move units have been shipped across the US, and PlayStation 3 worldwide sales have been bumped by the controller's arrival.
To keep momentum going, Sony plans to add another 15 games to the Move roster by the end of March 2011.

Bethesda's Fallout: New Vegas has generated over $300 million in retail sales since launch
That's across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and "a heavy volume of digital downloads" according to the publisher, with five million units shipped globally.
"We are delighted by the reception Fallout: New Vegas has received from fans around the world," commented Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks.
"Despite the large launch quantities for this title, we have already received substantial re-orders from our retail partners, underscoring the tremendous popularity of this highly entertaining game. We believe Fallout: New Vegas will be the 'must buy' title for gamers throughout the holiday season."
The game was well-received by the press on release, but has been plagued by a number of bugs, leading Bethesda to work on a "comprehensive" patch due shortly.

On the eve of Call of Duty: Black Ops' release EA has announced new downloadable content for rival shooter Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
VIP Map Pack 7 includes four maps, two of which are "fan favourites" Oasis and Harvest Day. It's all free for PC and console VIP players.
The maps previously in Bad Company have been reworked for the sequel, and in the process have gained "full Destruction 2.0 (buildings collapsing and micro destruction), enhanced graphics and lighting, and remastered ambient sounds and backgrounds".
The final two maps in the pack are Cold War and Heavy Metal, both originating from the single-player portion of the DICE-developed shooter.
Talking specifically about Oasis, level designer Cristian Pavel said: "The map has not been changed drastically, so returning players will feel right at home the moment they step into this Oasis.
"The revised parts of the levels are minor. For example, the gold crates in BC1 were located on the rooftops, which we can't have now that entire buildings can collapse. So we had to put the crates on the ground in some places. Things like that."
VIP Map Pack 7 is "on its way", according to DICE.

Guerilla Games has revealed that it's extending the Killzone 3 multiplayer beta to another wave of gamers eager to join in the fun.
We've decided to expand the beta trial!" said the dev via Twitter earlier. "5,000 additional Plus-subscribers from SCEA and SCEE will automatically receive invites through PSN," they added.
The beta kicked off late last month, giving players a taster of three gorgeous maps - each of which you can see in videos here.

As you may have seen by now, it looks like the first copies of Gran Turismo 5 are (unbelievably) in the hands of sneaky fans before its proper release, and one of them's leaked the Trophy list. Cheers!
There are a total of 60 trophies to unlock, and all but seven "hidden" trophies have been detailed in the list below.
Some pretty cool ones in there, like getting a time of 7:29.03 or quicker in a GT-R around Nurburgring Nordshleife - the car's record time in real life - or winning the legendary race between FordMark IV Race Car, the Ferrari 330 P4 and the Jaguar XJ-13, the latter of which never got to race in real life.

This is an early version of a simple tank game involving two large armies.
Controls
Move – Left analog stick
Aim – Right analog stick
Shoot – R1
I'm not sure if its compiled with Sony SDK or the open source SDK PSL1GHT so I will not be attaching the files.

Heres an Updated release from the Codetactics guys:
Hi, everyone. Glenn and I have released another update to mobile assault with a few changes we thought were worth sharing.
Features
* Two new missions.
* Custom mission support (PSP).
Improvements
* In game messages tell the player when objectives have been changed.
* Added some roll to the helicopter movement when turning (PSP).
Bug Fixes
* Fixed bug where tanks were going straight for the helipad in the instant action mission.
This release includes custom mission loading on psp - we're still working out how to get the editor out there - but in the mean time if anyone wants to be a beta tester, let me know and we can arrange early access.
