Funny title i know, but with the PSP it brought a lot of newcomers to the world of emulation, a lot of people who probably had never heard of systems such as the Snes, so this is the first of many newsposts with a little history about the console and also a chance for our members to say which games they liked most and recommend them to todays audience, heres goes:
Before i start a massive thanks to Dark Watchers Console History for the Info and Screens (Best site on net for Console Info)

Super Famicom / SuperNES
Around 1988 Nintendo was still enjoying the success of it’s NES / Famicom system and didn’t see any need to jump on the 16-bit bandwagon. However the NEC PCengine / Turbografix in Japan, and the Sega Genesis in the US were beginning to dominate the videogame market. Nintendo's jump to 16-bit was no real surprise. Oddly enough Nintendo wanted the original Famicom to be 16-bit, but resources at the time were too expensive to make it happen, but now was the opportunity to take Nintendo to the next level.
The Super Famicom was released in November 1989, and immediately took over 80 percent of the Japanese market. They still had a lot of ground to cover to catch up with the other 16-bit systems. The console itself was quite impressive, and introduced scaling and rotation effects (the famous Mode 7) that could not be duplicated on the other systems.
Nintendo was still slow to release the system overseas. A shortage of supplies, and the fact that the NES was still making money in the US delayed the Super Famicom’s release. The system was finally released in the US on September 1st 1991, and called the SuperNES. The SuperNES was also released in Europe a year later in April 1992.
The SuperNES soon amassed a large library and battled toe to toe with Sega. Their popular character franchises and exclusive games kept them in a heated rivalry. Arcade games played a strong role in the competition. SuperNES got the jump on Sega by releasing the popular arcade title ‘Street Fighter 2’ with temporary exclusivity. Soon after they lost the edge when they chose to censor another popular arcade fighter ‘Mortal Kombat’, which Sega released unedited.
Much More History on This Page
Now onto Snes games to recommend, now i could list up to 100 killer games but ill keep my faves to just 10 games.
Here they are:
Mario Kart - Best 2 player racing game ever
Mario World - best 2d platformer ever
Pilotwings - Sweet flying Game
Zelda 3 - Fantastic RPG for all ages
Donkey Kong Country - The graphics for Snes were amazing
Streetfighter 2 - 2D fighting at its best
Uniracer - Bloody adictive racer
Starfox - Killer game with awesome 3D
Mario All Stars - Platform Gaming Heaven
Super Star Wars - A must for any Star Wars Fan
Thats my faves what games would you recommend ?

Raf and the PSP Radio Team have released a new version of the WiFi radio streamer. Heres whats new:
New Features
Dyn/UI Plugins: Implemented albadross idea to use the plugin name to load configuration files. This allows to select different skins via the plugin menu. (Implemented for Text and Text3D plugins). (r930)
TextUI: OptionsScreen and Plugins Menu can now display more options than what fits on the line. This was implemented using a new config element in the OptionsScreen.cfg (X_RANGE) so skins will need to be revised. (r934)
If X_RANGE is not set, then defaults are used (r944)
Dynamic: Added Application plugins. Sample plugin added too: netscan. (If plugin stops responding, L+R+START can be used to return control to pspradio.).
TextUI: If the background specified in the config file is just a filename, then we look under the text ui config directory. Also, if the filename starts with "ms0:", then we asume it's a absolute path.
Dynamic: New plugin: Retawq (text based web browser).
TextUI: Added new screen config for plugins screen.
TextUI: Updated Options / Plugins screen background with new art from Semtex199.
TextUI: Support for -2 flag in config file extended to y field, and to clear rutines. (-2 = don't print)
Bug Fixes
Core: Corrected problem when reading directories, where a good read could be interpreted as bad, ended up in nothing being read at all. (r936)
Core: When changing UIs, the sound is now stopped to prevent event queue fill-ups.
Tex
NOTE: If a plugin stops responding, try L+R+START (should take you back to PSPRadio), then go to the plugins menu and turn the plugin off... Turning off the plugin needs to be manually done after exiting a plugin too.

PSPiano version 0.2 is an update of the PSPiano series made by me.
Version 0.20 changes...
A partner app has been added in.
Now named PSPscales (The old app unchanged)
Partner program is PSPiano
In the new PSPiano, it is now a lot easier to play tunes. If you press r or l it changes the note pitch. So, if you hold R, then you press down, you will be playing C sharp, rather than C.
If you don't know how to install, please read the readme.

Updated to include Shareware Files too - wraggster
Chris Swindle & Peter M have asked me to release the new version of Quake for the PSP because Chris is away this weekend, heres the email from Chris:
<blockquote>We have combined the source for the original release with the network code from Multiplayer Quake and we have submitted all of the code to a SourceForge project. The project page is at https://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=158726 where the full source is available. This version now has full network support on all firmware versions.
Features
--------
The following is working fine:
- Software rendering
- Sound
- Adhoc connection for PSP - PSP games
- Infrastructure mode for connecting to servers
- Stable firmware V2+ support, including PSP-PSP & Access point network support via the latest eLoader (DHCP is recommended for v2.5+)
- On screen keyboard (not in V2+ at the moment)
Things missing:
- OSK support in V2+, never finishes initialising in v2+, looks like it might be due to the way the exploit works
- Hardware rendering. I have little PSP GU experience, so it'll take a while to do.
Known bugs:
- Fast key taps may go unnoticed when the frame rate is low. This is because we're not sure how to get buffered input on the PSP.
If you've found a bug, please post about it in this thread.
Enjoy.
Chris & Peter</blockquote>
