Curve Studios, the developer behind Stealth Inc. – A Clone in the Dark, has announced some new DLC for the PS3 and PS Vita versions.
The "Lost Clones" add-on slaps another 20 levels, including new Trophies and a DLC-specific leaderboard, on top of the base game. "Lost Clones" is available for download today for $3.99 in North America and £2.99 in Europe. In Curve Studios' announcement post, the studio says it currently has no plans to release the DLC for the iOS version, though it hasn't ruled out the possibility.
Stealth Inc. – A Clone in the Dark, previously known as Stealth Bastard on other platforms, is a stealth puzzle game where players must stick to the shadows while guiding a clone through a testing facility chock full of traps and robot sentries. The game is both cross-buy and cross-save enabled on PlayStation platforms.

PS4’s early advantage over Xbox One is purely because it retails for £80 less.
That’s according to Michael Pachter, who has downplayed the importance of PS4’s technical advantage or any of the controversy that has dogged Microsoft since E3.
"The reason Sony beats Microsoft is solely the price," Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter spoke at the Game Monetization USA Summit in San Francisco,GamesIndustry reports.
"Microsoft loses the next generation unless they cut price. If Microsoft drops its price to $399, I expect the sales to be equal to the PS4."
However, Pachter’s long-term forecast for the future of the console sector is far from rosy.
"I don't know where they get those numbers. I don't think you're ever going to see 500 million consoles out there," Pachter said of estimates that PS4 and Xbox One will set new hardware sales records.
“The next generation of consoles is probably the last. We expect frequent model updates instead of new consoles. I think the PC is going to make a comeback, the PC will be the hub of all this stuff.

It's going to be difficult to watch the new season of Game of Thrones without humming South Park's vocal variation of the theme song. We won't reprint it here, but it rhymes with "Meeners, ploppy Meeners."
The third and final episode in South Park's Game of Thrones-style, next-gen console wars storyline aired last night, wrapping up with Kenny as an anime princess, the Black Friday mob, George RR Martin on a horse and a Red Robin wedding. And it includes a line that would fit in most Game of Thronesepisodes: "Whose betrayal is this?"
We usually hate to spoil the ending of anything, but in this case it's both obvious and harmless: The episode closes with an ad for Ubisoft's South ParkRPG, The Stick of Truth. The US audience can check out all of the drama atSouth Park Studios.

Earlier this week, Atlus detailed its method behind the madness that is Persona 4: Dancing All Night, an upcoming (and unlikely) PlayStation Vita rhythm game based on the popular demon-fusing RPG series.
Taking place after the events of Persona 4, Dancing All Night finds former Investigation Team member Rise Kujikawa back in the idol biz, returning to a life of everyday celebrity after solving multiple homicides in Inaba. When a member of her idol group goes missing amid rumors of the Midnight Channel's return, however, Rise once again teams up with Persona 4 protagonist Yu Narukami to find her missing coworker and bust some moves along the way.
Co-developed by Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series developer Dingo, Dancing All Night will feature multiple tracks from Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden, and the anime series Persona 4: The Animation. Musicians Tetsuya Komuro and Daisuke Asakura have been recruited to create high-energy dance remixes for the soundtrack.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night is due for release next fall in Japan.

A number of PlayStation Network users have had their passwords reset today as a security measure by Sony. The company informed affected users through e-mail, with multiple GamesIndustry International staff among those receiving such communications.
Sony has a history of network security issues, most notably the 2011 hacks of the PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment sites that saw hackers access the personal data of more than 100 million customers. The company put the price tag for that lapse at roughly $170 million.
As of press time, a Sony representative had not responded to request for comment. The full text of the company's original mass e-mail follows below:
Dear valued customer,
The Sony Entertainment Network team routinely monitors for any irregular activity, and if such activity is detected, we may sometimes reset passwords of affected accounts to protect consumers and their account information. Your account password was recently reset as part of this process and you will need to create a new password the next time you access your account using the "Forgot Your Password" option on the Sign in screen.
We encourage you to create a complex unique password that you have not used before or isn't the same password as those associated with other online services. As always, we also encourage you to keep a close eye on your account for any unusual activity including emails about transactions you did not perform. Please click here if you need help in changing your password, or to contact us for additional assistance.
Also, remember that Sony will never ask you for your password or any personal or account information in an email. Please use caution if you receive any emails or phone calls from anyone asking for personal information or directing you to a website where you are asked to provide personal information.
Thank you,
The Sony Entertainment Network Team

Andrew House thinks the PS4 could beat the PS3 in lifetime sales numbers.
Sony Computer Entertainment
Sony Computer Entertainment is a Japanese videogame company specialising in a variety of areas in the...
playstation.com
The PlayStation 4 is already off to a great 2.1 million start, but its predecessor fell short of Sony's all-time console best: the PlayStation 2 with 150 million consoles sold worldwide. The PlayStation 3's 80 million is still good, but Sony's hoping to match its earlier success. Sony Computer Entertainment president Andrew House told MCV that the PS4 is primed to exceed the PS3.
"It has an opportunity to significantly exceed what we've been able to achieve with PS3 and there's a couple of reasons for that," said House. "We start off with a price point that is much more consumer friendly than was there for the PS3. Also, one of the success stories for the business as a whole has been our ability to open up new geographies for video games over the last five years. You are seeing opportunities for new markets that we haven't tapped into."
House also said that Sony has made sure that the PS4 functions as a game console and media device "from day one".
"That's important because there will be someone who wants this as a games device, but the fact it is a great place to view BBC iPlayer, for example, gives other family members reason to use it. That is crucial in broadening what the console's reach could be," he said.
For Sony, the dual launches of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One mean that home consoles are back on the mainstream public's mind. That the PlayStation 4 has taken an early lead is a good sign to House.
"When two consoles of this scale launch almost simultaneously, it seems to have put games back into the mainstream, so the launches are important from that point of view," said House. "It also sets the tone for how momentum is going to be for a platform's lifecycle. The contradictory other side to that, is the old: 'It is a marathon not a sprint.' It is not just about one night. But it is an important start in terms of staking out the road you're going to try and follow."

Sony is facing criticism over its implementation of microtransactions in Gran Turismo 6.
Their inclusion was confirmed last month but the prices were only revealed yesterday and are, according toEurogamer, as follows:
500,000 in-game credits – £3.99/€4.99
1m in-game credits – £7.99/€9.99
2.5m in-game credits – £15.99/€19.99
7m in-game credits – £39.99/€49.99
A quick bit of number crunching from the site revealed that those who want to buy, say, the Jaguar XJ13 (which costs 20m in-game credits) could do so from the off for the sum of £119.95. The car can also be unlocked by simply playing, of course.
Sony has responded in a statement to CVG by saying that microtransactions remain entirely optional.
"It is not required," a Sony spokesperson stated. "We do not penalise players for not making transactions (they still have access to everything) and it is completely optional.
"As with previous instalments of Gran Turismo, users are able to earn in-game credits and unlock additional cars by competing in races or event challenges," they said.
"The value of both items will naturally increase as the user completes higher ranked challenges and races, including online. In GT6, users have the optional choice to purchase in-game credits in increments of $500,000 through the PS Store to unlock content faster if they prefer to do that, rather than earn them through gameplay.
"We do not require players to purchase or use purchased in-game currency to experience or progress through the complete game."
Even fan-favourite Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida has found himself facing heat on Twitter and has re-iterated Sony’s argument.
Microsoft found itself experiencing similar criticism regarding the use of microtransactions in Xbox One launch title Forza 5, although it would appear that progress in that game for those who choose not to pay is somewhat harder going than in Sony’s title.

80 million consoles sold may sound like a huge number to Xbox, but to PlayStation it is just not good enough.
Xbox 360 and PS3 have both sold 80m worldwide so far. But for Sony that’s a disappointing figure having come off the back of PS2, which went on to sell 150m consoles around the world.
Speaking to MCV, PlayStation CEO Andrew House says the aim for PS4 is to sell far more units than its predecessor.
“It has an opportunity to significantly exceed what we’ve been able to achieve with PS3 and there’s a couple of reasons for that,” he said. “We start off with a price point that is much more consumer friendly than was there for the PS3.
“Also, one of the success stories for the business as a whole has been our ability to open up new geographies for video games over the last five years. You are seeing opportunities for new markets that we haven’t tapped into.
“The other point is that we took several years to take PS3 from being a dual function device to a multi-functional entertainment device. PS4 arrives with a full suite of those non-game entertainment services right from day one.
“And that’s important because there will be someone who wants this as a games device, but the fact it is a great place to view BBC iPlayer, for example, gives other family members reason to use it. That is crucial in broadening what the console’s reach could be.”
“It has an opportunity to significantly
exceed what we’ve been able to achieve
with PS3. We start off with a price point
that is much more consumer friendly
than was there for the PS3." Andrew House, PlayStation
The PS4 story has been a good one for Sony. Unveiled in February in New York, the firm unleashed its secret weapon in system creator Mark Cerny. who won over attendees with his presentation that rumours claim he memorised in its entirity. “We knew Mark was a talented system architect and developer, but who knew he was such a great presenter as well?” said House.
What followed was a surprising move by Xbox to potentially block pre-owned and game lending, which gifted PlayStation an easy PR victory at E3 2013.
“It surprised me that we were required to make such a clear statement that we were going to maintain status quo in areas that we took for granted,” he added.
“That wasn’t dictated by us, that was by the moves the competition was making. That remains the largest surprise for me – how visceral that reaction was. But the fact that we had to put a stake in the ground, in an area that we felt was just common sense, still has me quite literally scratching my head.”
But the biggest victory for Sony came last week when it released PS4, complete with launch event in Covent Garden. What followed was 250,000 sales in 48 hours, forcing it to ship extra consoles for Christmas.
Yet the real battle for Sony is only just beginning. PS4 started well, but then so did PS3, which had a strong debut but sales soon fell away. So does this launch hype even matter?
House concluded:?“When two consoles of this scale launch almost simultaneously, it seems to have put games back into the mainstream, so the launches are important from that point of view.
“It also sets the tone for how momentum is going to be for a platform’s lifecycle. The contradictory other side to that, is the old: ‘It is a marathon not a sprint.’ It is not just about one night. But it is an important start in terms of staking out the road you’re going to try and follow.”

Resogun was among the top-rated PS4 launch games; we awarded Housemarque’s PS4 debut an 8 in our review.
Indies Housemarque and Compulsion Games have hailed the early success of their PS4 launch titles Resogun and Contrast, giving fellow indies hope that smaller titles can thrive on the new console. The indie duo enjoyed little competition on PS4’s storefront at launch, available for download in amongst some very highly-priced blockbuster games. Resogun and Contrast’s inclusion as free downloads for PlayStation Plus subscribers also ensured that indie games were among the first titles many new PS4 owners played on their new hardware.Only Sony knows the real sales figures for each, but judging by other metrics, Housemarque’s Resogun is getting as much attention as some triple-A games – if not more, says the studio.“We know Resogun has a great retention rate, people keep going back to it,” Housemarque community manager Tommaso De Benetti told us. “Last time we checked, it was on par with much bigger budget games. Also, we have the highest number of community ratings on PSN at the moment – over 18,800 reviews. In comparison, Killzone Shadow Fall has 1,200 and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has 1,700. It looks like a lot of people are liking Resogun more than much more hyped games, though of course it is free with PlayStation Plus.”Compulsion Games, which released Contrast for 360 and Steam as well as on PS4, told us that Sony’s platform had been the most successful of the three, thanks again to PlayStation Plus and few competing titles on day one.

DICE has released new Battlefield 4 updates for the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game.
While the PS4 update is rolling out globally, the PS3 one is currently being released in all territories except North America, where it will launch"as soon as possible".
Dec 5 PS4 Game Update Notes- Fixed the "one-hit kill" bug where bullets were sometimes applying their damage multiple times to a character. This could lead to firefights where normal rifles sometimes dealt one-shot kills, which is not as designed.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when having a very large amounts of Friends
- Enabled audio in PS4 video captures
Dec 5 PS3 Game Update Notes- Reduced the risk of a crash when transitioning from one multiplayer round to another
- Fixed a crash that could occur when creating decals (bullet hit effects, etc.)
- Fixed a crash that could occur when leaving vehicles
- Fixed a crash that could occur when moving outside of the intended play area
- Fixed a crash that could occur when firing the MBT and IFV gunner incendiary weapon
- Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the Options menu
- Fixed a problem with weapon accessories using up too much memory, which in turn could lead to crashing
Field Upgrades Reactivated
We have now fixed the Field Upgrades "Indirect Fire" and "Perimeter Defense" that were crashing the game. These Field Upgrades were previously deactivated as a workaround to this very frequent crash. With this fix in place we are now reactivating the Field Upgrades in question.
One-hit Kill Bug Fixed
Fixed the "one-hit kill" bug where damage from a single bullet sometimes was applied multiple times. This could lead to firefights where normal rifles sometimes dealt one-shot kills, which is not as designed.
Improved Hit Sync
We previously removed interpolation of damage events (like you taking damage from someone shooting at you) to make them feel more responsive, but that made the damage sync suboptimal. We are committed to tweaking the sync so that it will stay more true to what you are actually seeing. The first step towards this is taken in this patch, so you should see some improvement on this now. We will continue to work on improving hit sync in the game. This change is already live on PS3, PC, and PS4, and will go live on Xbox One and X360 in upcoming patches.
Miscellaneous Fixes
- Fix for stuck in infinite loading screen
- Fix for flares exploit where you could deploy flares faster by leaving and re-entering a vehicle
- Moved an infantry spawn point on Rogue Transmission at first base that was previously positioned outside of combat area
- Adjusted AT weapon at first base on Rogue Transmission from second floor barrack to outside on ground. Previously, players had to destroy a wall in order to reach the weapon
- Performance fix when firing upon large destruction objects (mostly after Levolution events)
- Minor performance optimizations
- Fix for destroyed object parts still being visible in the game world
- Smoother movement of networked objects (like vehicle turrets)
- Fix for audio randomly dropping out when driving a US tank
- SP/South China Sea: Added collision for place where player could get stuck
Additional notesOne-hit Kill Bug Explained
We are seeing reports from people that this is still present, with descriptions such as "I came around the edge of a building and died instantly". It is important to understand that this is not the One-hit Kill Bug, that is another issue that we are working on addressing. For this, it is important to understand how some of the interpretations made by the game happen so that you can understand the difference.
We saw an issue where a bullet travelling towards an opponent would cause damage in one frame, and then again in the next frame. Therefore bullets would cause 2x damage if they hit the target between these two frames. This issue has been addressed.
The issue of dying before you saw who shot you is a different beast. We use a term called Interpolation in reference to where you are in the game world. There are instances where the death camera is initiated before the correct internet packets have arrived to be interpolated by your camera. This gives the impression that you were killed by "one shot" as someone came around the corner of a building. We have identified this issue and will address it in upcoming updates. DICE said on Wednesday that it has suspended development of Battlefield 4 expansion packs until it fixes the multitude of errors that have plagued the game since launch.

Dice has put all expansion pack development on hold until it fixes the multitude of errors that have plagued Battlefield 4 since launch.
"We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game - it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game," an EA spokesperson told CVG.
"Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began with Battlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4," said the rep, confirming that all other development is currently on hold.
"We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right."
BF4 has been plagued with various critical issues since launch, including server instability and lag during gameplay, corrupt save data, XP loss and complete system crashes on an alarmingly regular basis.
Developer Dice said it has fixed the "most common" stability issues with the PS4 version of Battlefield 4 via a server-side 'hotfix' last month, but many issues persist.
The glitch-induced woes continued for BF4 players this week as Dice released the China Rising expansion to a new slate of game-breaking errors, including a complete inability to play the DLC content for some platforms.
We said in our Battlefield 4 review: "A triumph on a multitude of levels, Battlefield 4 is the series' most compelling package to date, a delightfully slick introduction to the next-generation of consoles and more than a good enough reason on its lonesome to pick up a PS4 or Xbox One."

Recently-released PlayStation 3 platformer Ratchet & Clank: Nexus has been rated for release on PlayStation Vita.
The European ratings board listing popped up on PEGI's website and was promptly spotted by NeoGAF.Nexus arrived in Europe on 20th November, but its release was somewhat overshadowed by the launch of next-gen consoles. The game is a budget-priced epilogue to the duo's Future series, which encompasses Tools of Destruction, Quest For Booty and A Crack in Time."Some of you have asked us why we made a shorter Ratchet game," developer Insomniac said earlier this year. "The truth is, we relished this ability to tie a bow on the PS3 era of Ratchet with a shorter title."We have a lot of stories to tell, some longer, some shorter. This one felt just right. It's a very polished self-contained return to the Ratchet adventures of yore."

UPDATE: Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has taken to Twitter to address concern about microtransactions in PlayStation 3 racing game Gran Turismo 6.In a series of tweets he insisted the ability to pay real-world money for virtual currency which can then be spent on cars was an "alternative path" through the game's progression system."The game is just offering an alternative path to busy people," he replied to one follower on Twitter. "Read reviews when they come out."Then, responding to another: "Microtransaction per se is not a bad thing, how the game is designed around it could become a problem."

Sony has released PS3 firmware version 4.53.
According to SuperFastZombie, an online support co-ordinator for the English PlayStation community, the optional update improves system stability.
Sony claimed that month that worldwide PS3 sales to retailers hit 80 million units on November 2, eight years after the system launched.
As of September 30, Sony said 4,332 software titles had been released for PS3 worldwide, excluding downloadable games. A further 300 will be released this winter, including this Friday's Gran Turismo 6, the latest entry in PlayStation's best-selling franchise.
The PlayStation Network, which launched alongside PS3 in 2006, now operates in 59 countries and, as of September 19, had amassed more than 150 million registered accounts. PSN's global catalogue offers over 222,000 digital content options, including 72,000 pieces of game content, according to Sony.
PS4 launched in North America on November 15 and two weeks later in Europe and Latin America. Worldwide PS4 sales stand at 2.1 million units, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House said on Tuesday morning.
