via http://psp.scenebeta.com/noticia/ledbatterie-mod
If you like to know the percentage of your battery charge ? Then this plugin if you must have it. Unlike other plugins or applications you load screen shows your battery, this plugin is characterized modifies the power LED , making the LED flashes in time intervals according to the percentage of the battery.
Author: ABCanG.
Tutorial: Running plugins via the Stick in Custom Firmware (Recommended Reading).
It works in the following Custom Firmware:
6.20 PRO.
6.60 ME / PRO .
If you have worked in a Custom Firmware that is not on the list, and we will gladly discuss it added to the story.
Description:
LedBatterie_mod lets you change the time you want the power LED flashes as the charge level of your battery, thus telling you which is the percentage of remaining battery charge . The less load the power LED will flash several times and then charge you more power led blink less often.
In the file ledbatterie_mod.ini included in the plugin:
# Millisecond, start percent, percent end
3000 , 90 , 100
2500 , 80 , 90
2000 , 70 , 80
1500 , 60 , 70
1000 , 50 , 60
500 , 40 , 50
100 , 0 , 40
You can change the time (in milliseconds) and the percentage range you want that the power LED is flashing .
To make understandable explain plugin function as follows:
The first line:
3000 , 90 , 100
indicates that every 3 seconds the power LED is flashing when you load percentage is in the range 90% to 100%.
The second line
2500 , 80 , 90
indicate that when you have a load percentage between 80% to 90% the LED will flash every 2.5 seconds .
Following this reasoning the less your battery charge has the led blink more often .
And of course you can change the times and percentage ranges to your preferences and needs. Apart from that you can use while you're enjoying your games either PSX isos or when surfing on the XMB.

November 12th, 2013, 12:00 Posted By: wraggster
via http://wololo.net/2013/11/11/sony-pa...firmware-3-00/
We’ve mentioned several times in the past few days that firmware 3.00 has been a surprise to some of the veterans in the PSP/Vita scene, as Sony has patched several undisclosed psp exploits with this update.
It is fairly rare for Sony to patch an exploit before it gets publicly released, more so when it comes to exploits in the psp emulator, which in two years of Vita’s existence haven’t proven to be a security or business threat to Sony.
Nevertheless, firmware 3.00 appears to contain patches for several exploits that were known probably by a handful of people. Firmware 3.00 contains typical “blacklist” patches in the savedata_utility.prx, but also apparently deeper fixes in the psp kernel.
Savedata_utiliy.prx is a file that contains (among other things) a blacklist of exploits. I’ve described that file a while ago here: “When the PSP and the Vita show their battle scars“. With firmware 3.00, the savedata_utility.prx blacklist has been updated to block the “pawa pro” exploit from 173210 (this was expected), but also Frostegater’s Fieldrunners and Pipe Madness exploits and Yosh’s Half Minute Hero exploit, which hadn’t been publicly disclosed before the 3.00 release.
In addition to those, somewhere between 10 and 20 other undisclosed game exploits have been added to the blacklist, which means those exploits are now technically patched. (I have been asked by my sources to not be more precise than that)
It does not stop there, though, as it appears some techniques used in VHBL to increase compatibility are now patched in the psp kernel. The patches in general do not prevent VHBL from running, but limit the compatibility of some homebrews. Acid_Snake discussed this at length in his rant to Sony
Vita firmware 3.00 has put serious limits to ongoing efforts to open the psp emulator within the Vita. However, many devs/hackers have contacted me to let me know their own exploit wasn’t impacted, or that they had found workarounds. Total Noob’s long awaited TN-V4, an upcoming kernel exploit within the psp emulator on the Vita, does not seem to be impacted.
To me the big remaining question is the source of these fixes. Do you think Sony have a team looking for exploits in their PSP games? Or do they get contacted independently?

Sony has unveiled a new promo video of the PS4, showing you exactly what will come in the box when the upcoming gaming console is released.
Taking place in what appears to be a server room, a man with gloves unwraps every piece of equipment inside the box, revealing a network voucher, quick start guide, DualShock 4 controller, HDMI cable, power cable, mono headset, and, of course the PS4 gaming console.
It ends with the man saying the official PS4 slogan: “Greatness awaits”.
The PS4 will be available from Friday, November 15th.

November 12th, 2013, 00:13 Posted By: wraggster
Though Blizzard would like to allow players to enjoy the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of Diablo 3 on their Sony-branded handhelds, the House That Warcraft Built sees the Vita's screen itself as reason to nix Remote Play functionality.
At this weekend's Blizzcon event, Gamespot asked senior level designer Matthew Berger about the possibility of Remote Play, and were immediately shot down. "The Vita is an amazing piece of kit, but the screen is still smaller," stated Berger. "And when you look at - and also it has its own aspect ratio - and when you look at Diablo 3, there's a lot happening on-screen already. You get surrounded by your enemies, lots of effects flying off in every direction. The inventory can be pretty complicated to navigate sometimes when you have lots of items."
Despite this, Berger says Blizzard is still considering the feature. "[Remote Play] would be a little bit more of stretch. It's kind of percolating in the back of our mind, but we don't really have any plans right now," he said.
Corroborating the eventual possibility of Remote Play is senior console producer Julie Humpreys. "[Remote Play] is something we are looking into," Humphreys told CVG. "I would say we are in the earliest stages of looking at that. We want to make sure that it is readable and is a good user experience."
Diablo 3 makes its PlayStation 4 debut at some point during 2014.
Update: Earlier today, Gamespot again asked Berger about Remote Play, and were met with a decidedly different response. "As long as PS4 supports Remote Play, [Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls] will support it," Berger said.

This week's PS Plus goodies, a mixture of freebies for subscribers on both PS3 and PS4, have been posted. Ibb & Obb, a gravity-based co-op puzzle game, will be offered on the PS3 side, while PS Plus members who grab a PS4 at launch on Friday can download both Resogun and Contrast gratis.
Resogun is Housemarque's voxel-based shmup where players, navigating a closed 2D plane, attempt to save citizens from the clutches of evil invading aliens. Contrast, from Compulsion Games, centers around two main characters: an older girl named Dawn that players control and Didi, a younger girl who has just lost her mother.
In addition to the free games, PS Plus members can also indulge in a special starter pack for free-to-play shooter Warframe. The pack includes both premium and free currency, a weapon mod pack and three-day boosts for both experience and credits.
Finally, tomorrow will yield its annual slew of discounts for PS Plus and base PSN users alike. Beyond Good & Evil HD, Divekick, Street Fighter X Tekken andOutland are just a few of the games up for sale. You can peruse the full list over on the PlayStation Blog.

Burlesque platformer Contrast will take to the stage on PS3 just a few days after it shows up on other platforms. The news comes as publisher Focus Home Interactive announced the game's final release dates, confirming it for November 15 arrivals on PS4, Xbox 360, and PC, and then November 19 on PS3.
The shadow-orientated puzzler inadvertently took the limelight last month, when it replaced the delayed Driveclub as one of the PS Plus launch games on PS4. That means it'll be free to Plus subscribers along with Housemarque'sResogun, when the console dances its way onto retail shelves later this week.

4J Studios announced that it is currently focused on launching the PlayStation 3 version of Mojang's Minecraft, with ports for next-gen consoles being put on the back burner for the time being.
"We're hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now," the studio tweeted. "The other platforms [and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition's Title Update 14] will be later."
4J is developing Minecraft: Xbox One Edition for Microsoft's upcoming console, along with versions for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. Release dates for these new ports have not been announced.

November 11th, 2013, 20:13 Posted By: wraggster
Blizzard has announced Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition for PS4.
Set for release next year, the game will include Diablo 3 and upcoming expansion Reaper of Souls.
Diablo 3 launched on PC in May 2012 and on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013. Lifetime Diablo 3 sales across all platforms have now reached 14 million units.
"We're pleased with the response to the game's launch on PS3 and Xbox 360," Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime told investors last week.
"Reviews have been very positive about how the game plays on console. Much of the praise has been centred on changes we made to the loot system and our decision to keep the auction house off of the console platform.
"Players and critics alike have noted that these changes have resulted in a more fun and satisfying game experience," he added. "That reaction factored in our decision to remove the auction houses from the PC version of Diablo 3 effective next March, which players have also responded very positively to.
"We're building upon those design philosophies for loot and incorporating them into Reaper of Souls."

If you've tried to play any PlayStation Network enabled games on your PS Vitaover the last few days, you may have found yourself stuck in a frustrating loop where you sign in, only to be automatically signed out and told to sign in again.
This issue apparently arises from the newly updated Terms of Service, which Sony has issued to prepare the network for the upcoming PlayStation 4 launch. Due to a bug, these new terms cannot be viewed or accepted on the Vita, leaving its users locked out of the network.
Fret not though, as there's a simple solution to work around this problem:
- Visit the PlayStation website on any browser (including the Vita's own web browser)
- Click the 'Sign In' option in the top right corner
- Enter your PSN credentials in the box that appears and sign in
- You should then be prompted to accept the updated Terms of Service
- Once accepted, return to your Vita and sign in as normal
We expect this problem will be resolved by Sony in the near future, but for the time being the above method will ensure you continue your online gaming without interruption.

Sony's updated terms and conditions reveal that the company can actively monitor and record communication between players.
In a section in the company's new Software Usage Terms entitled 'Are we monitoring PSN?', the company declares that it is, but reassures that it is unable to monitor all communication.
http://www.computerandvideogames.com...-psn-activity/Instead, Sony said it reserves the right to "monitor and record" text or voice communication, or user-generated media (UGM) where they feel it's necessary - for example, if another player submits a grief report. The disclosure comes amid widespread concerns over mass internet surveillance, after it was revealed that state officials across numerous western countries have been secretly accessing the user data of millions.
The full statement on Sony's site reads as follows:
Are we monitoring PSN?
Yes but we can't monitor all PSN activity and we make no commitment to do so. However, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to monitor and record any or all of your PSN activity and to remove any of your UGM at our sole discretion, without further notice to you.
Your use of PSN and our community features may be recorded and collected by us or sent to us by other users as described in 13.1.
Any information collected in this way, for example, your UGM, the content of your voice and text communications, video of your gameplay, the time and location of your activities, and your name, your PSN Online ID and IP address, may be used by us or our affiliated companies to enforce these Terms and the SEN Terms of Service, to comply with the law, to protect our rights and those of our licensors and users, and to protect the personal safety of our employees and users.
This information may be passed to the police or other appropriate authorities. By accepting these Software Usage Terms, you expressly consent to this. Other agreements required in Sony's Software Usage Terms include the acceptance that all software is licensed, not sold, and that players "must not resell either disc-based software or software downloads, unless expressly authorised by [Sony]".
However, it is worth noting that similar statements have also been present in previous Terms & Conditions agreements for the PS3, PS Vita, PSP and Microsoft consoles.

rpcs3 Git (2013/11/09) is compiled. rpcs3 is an open source PlayStation 3 (PS3) emulator for the Microsoft Windows. Current versions can run only small homebrew for PS3. Developers are planning to make it to emulate PS3 on its speed in the near future.
rpcs3 purpose:
- Make PS3 developers easily test their apps and homebrews on PC without crashing their PS3 or moving their apps from PC to PS3.
- Just playing PS3 games on your PC and have fun! ( In the future )
rpcs3 Git Changelog:
* - Fixed memory leaks in cellRtc module.
- Fixed CPUThread crash.
- Improved ARMv7 Interpreter.
* Merge pull request #15 from Hykem/master
Fix for OpenGL error and implementation of cellRtc
* Fixed OpenGL error 0x0502.
Implemented cellRtc module.
Added module name list in cellSysmodule to aid debugging.
* Fixed errors of last commit
I forgot to modify one line of code that broke the entire solution. Now
this is fixed. I also disabled the logging of sys_timer_usleep calls.
* Merge branch 'master' of https://github.com/AlexAltea/rpcs3
NOTE: I included some changes of the forks of O1L and Dante38490 to my
fork. However, a conflict appeared while merging their sources with the
ones of DH. I had to resolve this conflict manually and push all the
changes like a new commit, that's why there changes weren't recorded
individually and (probably) won't appear at in the commits list. I am
very sorry for this, I'll try to avoid this in the future.
In order to preserve the authors of those commits, I write this list
here:
O1L: Dummy Modules (cellAudio, cellSaveData, and more
Dante38490: Spotted and fixed an issue in git-version-gen.cmd
Regarding my changes:
* New lv2 SysCalls implemented (and others improved)
* SDATA unpacker implemented
* Changed layout of sc_table
