2K has announced that the fabled BioShock PS3 downloadable Challenge Rooms will be released worldwide on 20th November.
However, there's no word on how much they will cost to download or exactly what you will get for your money - or even if you'll be asked to pay at all.
2K has our mouths sewn shut over the Challenge Rooms content, although we can probably admit we've seen a couple of levels and played through one without bringing the full force of Take Two down upon us.
We'll be bringing you a full Challenge Rooms hands-on preview very soon, but in the meantime you can read our E3 BioShock Challenge Rooms preview for a bit of early detail and check out our BioShock PS3 review to see whether it's worth your while (it is).
And in the interests of rounding everything up, 2K has already said that the game will be patched to fix a couple of minor bugs in the meantime.
BioShock is out now on PS3.

via Games Industry
After issuing a statement that LittleBigPlanet would be released in Europe no later than the week beginning November 3, Sony Europe has confirmed to GamesIndustry.biz that the game will be available in the UK on Wednesday November 5.
The game was officially delayed last week from its original launch of October 24 due to soundtrack lyrics which referenced the Qur'an.
Although games in the UK are usually released on a Friday, some titles are released mid-week to mark the occasion as a retail event.
However, in such a busy retail period, industry watchers will be aware that the Sony exclusive now goes on sale just two days before Microsoft's exclusive sequel Gears of War 2, providing a head-to-head charts battle for the following weeks.
The new release date won't be that important to some dedicated gamers. Copies of the game are already exchanging hands on eBay for inflated prices.

Hello, my name is Stephanie Fernandez and I worked as the Localization Producer on Eternal Sonata for the PLAYSTATION 3. Eternal Sonata will be shipping tomorrow, October 21st, and it will include new features and extras that can only be found on the PLAYSTATION 3 platform. In preparation for the game’s release, I wanted to share with you some of my thoughts and insights from working on the game and give you a few more details about the new exclusive content.
When I started working on Eternal Sonata for the PS3, I was pleased to find out there would be additional story material incorporated into the game that is unique to the platform. I had always felt there were some aspects of the story which might be a little too vague for anyone who didn’t have the advantage of the background knowledge that I had about the story. But now there are scenes that give the game player a little more insight; scenes that reveal a bit more general information about the concept behind the story and more specific details regarding character motivations.
Not that everything is spelled out point-by-point–you still have to figure things out for yourself–the player is at least given a few more clues as to what is going on. And the new scenes fit into the story extremely well. It almost seems as if they are parts of the story that have always been there, but you’re only just now getting the chance to see them. Also, some of the old scenes have been modified slightly, again, in order to add more depth to the story. From beginning to end, there is new exclusive material, and I think it will really add to people’s enjoyment of the game.

An article from Alek
Having in mind all the statistics from the latest M33 releases, we can get to some conclusions.
Adding downloads from Dark-AleX.org and the ones from the Network Update, here are the numbers from this last days;
-17 oct 29.838
-18 oct 32.996
-19 oct 2.472 (in 3H)
(unique psp's using this in 2 days, 3 hours) Maximum value calculated lately from the other releases was about 150k PSP's.
So, having in mind that there are how much? 38.96M PSP's on the World ( http://vgchartz.com/), so there are only a 0,39% of the total ones using the Network Update; we can conclude that...
... not more than an 8% of total World PSP's are with a CFW. (based on that statistics, tbh is a huge estimation, it should go about a 5% atm)
So, is it a threat? No. Developers and Sony should not focus their attention/excuses on something so "small", but on more Games&&Addons for PSP, instead of making look guilty free devs like Dark_AleX.
Now this doesnt take into account sites such as PSP News/DCEmu (here of course), QJ, PSP Hacks and the many other sites who mirror the file but even so i doubt even 5% of the worlds PSP Owners have tried Homebrew or custom firmware.
Give us your Comments on this subject, Are Custom Firmwares really such a Threat to Sony ?

The Fusa team have updated their app for the PSP:
WE REMIND YOU THAT IT'S ONLY FOR PSP S&L !!!
As you know, sony doesn't allow to use interlaced mode while playing games.
It's mean, that all users of SDTV (standard definition TV) aren't able to play their favourite games on TV screen
But even if your TV supports progressive scan (aka HDTV), the picture will be not fullscreen.
This's holy sh*t! Let's get rid of this f*ckin limitations with FuSa!
So what does FuSa do?
- It allows you to play games on ANY TV over ANY cable.
( composite, component, svideo, d-terminal )
All kinds of cables are supported!
Besides that, it allows you to play on full screen area!
Heres the news from this release:
As you know CFW 5.0 M33 already has interlaced output for PSOne
Sony has finally understood how stupid they are ^^
At any rate I'm happy that now even OFW can run PS1 games in interlaced mode, and that means that we don't need care about it anymore (PS1 games support for FuSa_SD)
So I wanna say that further versions of FuSa SD won't have SpeeDBoosteR which is PS1one compatible, if you wanna play Ps1 games just upgrade to 5.0 (M33 certainly ^^)
I also don't think that we'll support older firmwares in future.
This is updated FuSa SD which is compatible with 3.80 m33 - 5.0 m33 firmwares
DOX aren't included lol (Cuz there are no big changes, except that SpeedBoosteR doesn't support Ps1 games)
I have no language files, so I'll release only English version.
Need additional langs? - ask... you already know whom
Changes:
New hotkey (Disable\Enable plug-in)
Configuration file
Adjustable hotkeys
Adjustable screen position
No more "grab vram" option (use FuSa ScreenShoot! instead of it)
SpeeDBoosteR for PSOne games was deleted
