Phantom Brave: We Meet Again will have a dual voice option, a feature many Siliconera readers seem excited about, but what about Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love? Nao Zook, Public Relations Manager at NIS America, says “we want to have the Japanese voices.”
The Sakura Wars series is known for including famous voice actors. Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love is no exception. “We’re trying our best,” Jack Niida, Marketing Manager, says hopefully. “It’s kind of like having a Hollywood star in a video game.”
Sega tried to bring Sakura Wars to North America before, but the game was halted during the concept approval process. When NIS America was able to get a green light for Sakura Wars Sega offered NIS America the rights to publish Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love in North America.
Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love is scheduled in North America on the PlayStation 2 and Wii this fall.

Hello everyone, this week was a break for me in creating my operating system and was able to c me and a little lua on psp, I took the opportunity for a homebrew that will soon be adapted for ds: 2DEarth

Website:
http://myos.redby.fr
The concept:
You direct a character that can cursor through its added elements on the card and climb mountains, ect .... You can add your characters by copying sprites of characters (in RpgMaker Xp) in the file: data / characters /
You can also create your map, create a map in the map. View intro.map file to understand how it works.
Keys:
X: a file on the map
L: change element
Direction buttons to direct the personal

Sony Computer Entertainment promised at this year's E3 event that the dreadful dearth of classic PlayStation games for download to PS3 and PSP would finally be coming to an end with new releases in the coming weeks and months, and it looks to be that they meant it. This week alone, PSone fans have been able to download and re-enjoy Final Fantasy VII, Medal of Honor and Street Fighter Alpha 2, and on June 18th the acclaimed Metal Gear Solid will grace the PlayStation Store.
But has this all this PlayStation classic activity been hooey and applesauce to cash in on the excitement of E3? Not likely. This week, Sony and its publishing partners have registered with the ESRB six more titles for release on the PlayStation Store -- none reach the heights of a FF VII or MGS (and the fact that a game is rated by the ESRB does not necessarily mean that these games will actually be released any time soon,) but the fact that there's so much activity surrounding PSone classics can only be a good thing for those of us hoping for more and better classic games to buy on the service. Here's a list of the six new games listed as evaluated by the ESRB this week:
Contra Legacy of War
Dead in the Water
Ford Racing
Mobile Light Force -- aka Gunbird & Castle of Shikigami
Spec Ops: Airborne Commando
XS Junior League Soccer

As previously announced, Harmonix Music, the leading developer of music-based games, and MTV Games, a part of Viacom's MTV Networks, (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), along with distribution partner Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS), will offer 12 tracks from Iron Maiden, one of the world's most successful rock bands, June 9 in the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Wii system.
The release of these downloadable tracks coincides with the U.S. release of Flight 666 on Blu-ray and DVD as well as a double-CD soundtrack album and limited edition double-vinyl picture disc. Flight 666 documents the first leg of Maiden's legendary SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR, which took them 50,000 miles around the planet, playing 23 concerts on five continents in just 45 days. One of the stars of the movie is the band's customized Boeing 757, Ed Force One, which carried the band, all their crew and 12 tons of stage equipment and was piloted by Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, a fully qualified and active Airline Captain with Astraeus Airlines.
Live recordings of "Aces High," "Hallowed Be Thy Name," "Fear of the Dark" and "Iron Maiden," featured on Flight 666, are among those available for download in the Rock Band Music Store June 9. The other eight songs were among those featured on the band's Somewhere Back in Time World Tour during the first leg of which Flight 666 was filmed. This will mark the first time master recordings from Iron Maiden have been made available on Rock Band games.
"Fans have been asking us to do something with Rock Band for some time, and this seemed to be a perfect opportunity," said Maiden manager Rod Smallwood. "Our recent Somewhere Back in Time tour was perhaps the most enjoyable one we have ever undertaken and certainly the most successful with almost 2 million people catching the shows around the world. So it just seemed a good idea to make some of the songs we played available now so fans can play along with the band on the tour. Then we shall see if they can keep up with the band!!"

New from Play Asia:
FUEL is set in an alternate present in which whole swathes of the globe have been ravaged by the effects of climate change brought on by decades of environmental abuse. Here oil prices have rocketed and yet a new breed of racing junkie takes to the wastelands, pitting their grungy home-tuned vehicles against each other in an all-new extreme sport as they compete to win fuel supplies. To triumph means travelling the wastelands to challenge the best; from the tsunami-wrecked pacific coast through the Nevada wastelands, including the Grand Canyon, up treacherous snow-capped mountains, thick forests, arid deserts, abandoned lakeside resorts and much more.

Natsume plans on releasing five Harvest Moon games this year including Harvest Moon: Sugartown which was shown in their E3 booklet with a Q4 2009 release window.
Marvelous released this game in Japan this past March. Usually, Harvest Moon titles take more than nine months to crossover.
In Harvest Moon: Sugartown players grow crops, care for cows, and take part time jobs to save the village from a corporation trying to replace their home with an amusement park. Harvest Moon: Sugartown has multiple endings, but I doubt one of them will have the corporation taking over and cows running the roller coaster ride.

Despite its name, Playlogic is doing it best to ensure that its teen survival horror caper, Obscure: The Aftermath, is anything but hard to find. The publisher announced that in addition to the game's previously mentioned UMD release in September, the company will also release the Obscure sequel for download on the PSP Go this fall. A version for play on toaster ovens and other household appliances is also rumored to be in the works, though Playlogic representatives were not immediately available for comment.

Shadow of the Colossus in LittleBigPlanet? It's been done, but not officially. A new trailer, viewable after the break, found on the Media Molecule website suggests that official Shadow of the Colossus DLC is coming to the game next week -- maybe alongside some Ico stuff, as seen in the recently leaked image. It's unclear whether it's just costumes and props, or whether it'll be an MGS4-style pack, with levels and maybe an extra gameplay addition. We know what we're hoping for.

Sony has announced SingStar: Take That for release on PS3 and PS2 later this year.
There's also going to be a Take That SongPack on the SingStore later this summer to celebrate. It's got five songs from the big version.
SingStar: Take That follows the boys from string-topped urchins to winter-coated men, stuffing in songs like Could it be Magic, Back For Good, Never Forget and Shine.
But who will you be? Boss-eyed Barlow? Mark? Robbie? The other two?
So far we've seen SingStar: Queen and SingStar: ABBA released. SingStar: Motown was announced at E3, and we're getting extra online community features this September.

Namco Bandai has unveiled a beat-'em-up campaign mode for Tekken 6 at E3.
Think third-person action but with the characters of Tekken stomping around, battering enemies, unravelling a proper story and even using guns and giant robots as well as their assorted bag of martial arts attacks.
This Scenario Campaign can be tackled alone or online with a friend, and the further characters progress the stronger they will become.
Eurogamer TV has a video of the Scenario Campaign and it looks odd in motion; these characters with their clunky wooden legs and shuffles don't appear well-suited to open levels, exploration and crowd control.
But they are designed to go head-to-head, which they will - in destructible environments where players can be thrown through walls and floors.
Tekken 6 is out on PS3 and Xbox 360 this autumn.

Ubisoft's head of marketing in the UK, Murray Pannel, has told GamesIndustry.biz that he feels Sony is facing a big challenge to become the dominant player in the country's next-gen platform landscape - but also believes that if the PlayStation 3's value and price proposition is right, the brand still has a huge appeal.
Pannel, who spent over six years at Microsoft marketing the Xbox and Xbox 360, joined Ubisoft in March this year, and is happy, as a third party, to support all of the platforms increase installed base numbers in order to help his new company sell more games.
"So if I'm just looking at the UK specifically, we all know that Nintendo has done an amazing job, the 360 has solidified its position and is still doing well, and PlayStation I think would say themselves that they would have liked to have sold more hardware units," he said.
"Coming at it from a platform perspective, when I was at Xbox we never underestimated the power of the brand for PlayStation - despite the hiccups they had at launch, and the price particularly, there's still a latent demand for that product. And if they can get their value proposition right in terms of pricing and online, and a software line-up that's unbeatable, they're still a force to be reckoned with.
"But they will take a long time to even get their installed base up to that of the Xbox, let alone Nintendo's level, so they've got an uphill struggle in the UK.
"Obviously we support all platforms, and frankly, the more installed base you've got, the more games you can sell. So we'd rather have all the platform holders growing the IP as much as they can, so there are more people playing games that we can sell to.
"That's very much our hope, and we support all the platform holders where we can to push that, if that's exclusive games, or specific games for specific platforms to help drive those to new audiences."
Pannel was also confident that 2009 would be another strong year for the games industry, despite overarching economic conditions - but did query whether or not the market could sustain the kid of growth that it's seen in the past two years.
"It's certainly not going to decline," he said. "The question is, how long can it continue to grow at the rate of the last two years? I think the jury's out on that, but we're expecting a good year this year.
"Ubisoft has got some great titles, and if you look at the broader line-up there are some great titles as well - Square Enix coming in with Final Fantasy should be great, no doubt about it, and Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty... there's a lot of competition out there, and we'll all be looking eagerly to see what's coming when, but I enjoy the challenge - and there's plenty of consumers out there to appeal to, so we'll make sure we're getting our marketing, PR and product right to make sure they have a good time."
