Final Fantasy Tactics KO PSP has at last been released on RHDN! For those not in the know, FFT KO PSP is a project that aims (and has hopefully succeeded!) in making War of the Lions a more enjoyable experience.
In a nutshell, here are some of the new features you can enjoy in KO PSP:
- Multiplayer battles and items in singleplayer.
- Rebalanced jobs/skills/items.
- More balanced, level-scaled battles.
- Many other features that aren’t listed here!
Basically, this mod is meant to be the definitive version of War of the Lions. Read the project page and the included links therein to get a feel for the full scope of changes provided in the game. Note that the patch requires a EUR ISO to be used, but it can be run on modded PSPs and PPSSPP nearly flawlessly.
Enjoy!

PPSSPP Git Changelog:
* Qt: Change target name to ppsspp by default.Install icons and desktop file on Linux. Use a different builddir than SDL by default.
Should help distros packaging ppsspp. Note: if you currently use PPSSPPQt, you will need to move the config dir from PPSSPPQt to ppsspp.
For distro packagers, you can now use PREFIX and DESTDIR for installs.
* Merge pull request #6651 from thedax/win32-fullscreen
Win32: Fix a minor fullscreen bug.
* Win32: Fix a minor fullscreen bug.
If the window is maximized before going fullscreen, the taskbar appears on top, which is not desirable.
Also, apply the maximized state properly again after exiting, if the user had the window maximized.
* Qt: Allow building with system ffmpeg. Also update b.sh to set cmake and qmake flags in case --qt is at the end of the arguments.
* One last buildfix (please correct if GL_FUNC_ADD is wrong, I just wanted buildbot to work again). https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/6679 should replace this soon.
* Buildfix.
* Also do it here, although may be removed soon.
* Use correct stencil values with non-add blending.
Otherwise, we get the min/max/etc. value instead.
* Merge pull request #6680 from unknownbrackets/replace-funcs
Disable most replacements and use checked mem access in them

PlayStation 4's latest firmware is available to download and install now, bringing 3D Blu-ray support to the system as promised. If you're hoping for the same feature on Xbox One, it's due to hit in next month's system update.
Today's PS4 update also means users can choose to automatically download "Featured Content" from the PlayStation Store - according to Sony Europe's Chris Owen that includes things like demos and time-limited trials, and no charged content. Also, system messages that were in the top right will now appear in the top left, and most importantly of all, the sound quality on 1.5x DVD and Blu-ray playback is improved. Finally, we can all move on!
