Asteroid remember those classics, they manage a spaceship? For this title, navesound, you will remember these games for sure. The argument is a ship that must recover a shipment so that humanity can again hear the sounds. This game presents, scoop, the Scenery Beta 2009.

Then come to our community of homebrew another game that is presented to the Scenery Beta 2009 (of course this year our competition is having a very good acceptance), this time it's an action game in which we must look at where we stand if not want to end up dying in a heartbeat.
Author: catadevelop
The first is that we're dealing with an early version of what may become a major homebrew, the idea is good, aerial view, oppressive atmosphere (comes in handy for dive into the pressure to be dealing with zombies).
This is a mapping forward by eliminating zombies labyrinthine that cross our way to find the key and exit the scene, simple and easy to understand, though not so easy to play, since the stage will disappear when we proceed , which will continually bewildered at all times and difficult to end our mission ... if to this we add a high difficulty we find a game suitable only for true gamers.
Controls
Pad: Displacement.
Triangle button: Money above.
Circle Button: Giro right.
X button: Money Down.
Square Button: Money Left.
A: Shoot.

With this new game we have gotten many tickets to Scenery Beta 2009, with efforts like the one made by the developer is applied as is enjoyed homebrew: a lovely game of reflexes, in which the planet Echeri must dodge asteroids. We especially liked the animation of the planet as we move fun.
Author: fco_otaku.
The game is in an early version, so we are several points to improve, but that does not qualify for a good time playing with our PSPs, the mechanism is very simple, we will have to dodge the meteors that appear on screen our character, which is none other than the planet Echeri, which names the game, always trying to get our power not to ever get off the zero points, complicating all this is going slowly as we go forward as meteorites iran level each time pass faster and closer to us, difficult as possible for the game not achieve our goal.
This homebrew has yet to polish some aspects, including music, collisions and some other bug, though none of this tarnishes the good work of the coder with this contribution.

New entry to our Scenery Beta 2009 and again a contribution of high quality as we are accustomed in this great community, a very complete shell (no more to do the tutorial assistant in the news, thanks to the author) has all the pint of becoming another of our private indispensable Memory Stick. Destactables Functions: savedata download from the PSP itself, able to return to the shell to exit with HOME from any submenu and multimedia capabilities.
Author: Geniux
Have you ever dreamed of having a XMB developed by and for the scene that suits all our needs?, Then cease to dream because we present in this community exclusively for homebrew Geniux developed by simulating to perfection the Sony's XMB menu . Among its salient features are the ability to return to the shell after running a homebrew, the UMD, Internet browser, the UMD ... without having to exit to the XMB, also has a "small" utility, which will allow us GNX Store download (inter alia) savedata of our games, which will delight all those who (like me) want to have all levels of their game because they have completed upgrading the firmware disabled (or because we enjoy ourselves too lazy) . At the moment only available around 100 saves with its various regions are available, but this figure will increase over a week.
Features
The homebrew menu has a very similar function and aesthetics to the XMB so it is very easy and familiar management. The purpose of using a menu such lies in order to access the content with greater ease and fluidity, without having to remember complicated key combinations or worry about the size of the icons when you change the subject.
The GNX has the features of the XMB functions which we discuss in their ranks:
Settings
Network Update: This option will allow us to have the GNX always updated to the latest version of the system without using the computer or use decompressors all from a single click.
USB connection: What sets this option which has the psp "series" is that we can move freely through the shell while copying files to the Memory Stick. It also has the option to change the device to UMD, with the push of square appear at the right of the display a context menu very similar to the XMB where we can change Divide choosing from Memory Stick or UMD .*
* Not included the ability to access the internal memory (flash0, flash1 ...) via USB, in order to prevent a user accidentally install or remove files from the flash, thereby causing Brick.
System Information: This allows us to see clearly and quickly all the information related to the temperature of the battery, or the number of hours remaining and more.
System Settings: Trying to keep the style Sony menu, setup menu keeps that idea, letting you configure your shell and see Software information GNX. It should be noted that in order to access the context menu to change the settings, you need to press square, thus avoiding unwanted change options.
Adjustments of items: Here we can change the theme of the shell very easily and without cumbersome processes copy (or move) files, just select the desired theme and this will be installed at the time. * The creation of the themes is very simple, only we put the new icons in the folder "Icons" with the same name as the folder "Default". Being able to post new items so others enjoy them.
Photo:
From here we can access our collection of images found on the route PSP / PHOTO, where we can move from one to another with ease using the triggers R and L. (When we are viewing an image)
The image editor is not available in this version of the program, but it is noteworthy that this function is in its final phase of development, which will not be added to the shell until it is fully optimized, so will be available in the next version.
Audio:
-The player supports various formats such as ogg, mp3 uni among many others. It is noteworthy that the mp3 player has a playback system similar to that of Sony, based in EQs that the user can change the one you like more with great comfort while playing mp3's. We also have the option of saving energy, which reduce the CPU speed to increase battery life. It also has the ability to visualize data such as artist, album and more. And all from the comfort that it provides a menu of options is activated by pressing square. We may also minimize our playback at any time by pressing Select, to move freely through the Shell and return to the player at the push start. This is very useful for music lie chatting with your friends using Ad hoc eg.

Once again we bring one of the many entries we are receiving in the mail to participate in the Scenery Beta 2009, this time it's something special for our PSPs because it is a web browser optimized for entry into the group websites Scenebeta . With this contribution you can be with us wherever and whenever you want.
Author: trom_us
It's kind of browser on this occasion, due to its complexity and time it has taken me, I've modified to sail only in the pages of scenebeta. I hope to include the method of unloading and obviously the logon. This echo in Lua, and like most of the downloads are in RAR format, added the external option decompress in the desired location, which most often will be in psp / game, but obviously not a file for psp, then it will be necessary to unpack it on the psp, well you can navigate through the pages of NDS, Wii and PC, and download those files there.
If you want to go straight to the point, you can use the mode
lists, which shows you the lists of all sorted Archis
as shown on the page. as an example of scenerybeta2009.
The pages are the same scenebeta.com are not modified in any other server, or published lists are loaded, so that what you see is what you get.
Can easily browse the news and download the files. and if you download a psp game or application, you can uncompress it using the corresponding functions as in the menu., but be careful, this restart your browser. Although I recommend that you unpack not live in the psp.
It may be somewhat slow about loading speed, but you may surf the web without problems of any kind. Our most sincere thanks to the coder to create this specific homebrew dedicated to our group.
Controls
Move with the arrow up, arrow down.
Dar click with with X, but here is a failure but you've updated, Precionar any key + X to click. example L + X.
Right: to go to the bottom of the page.
Left: to go to the top of the page.
L + UP ARROW, or L + down: to move from page to page.
Start to leave, or give the main page click on exit to the XMB.
If you move the mouse upwards, you will come a menu.
Triangle, takes a snapshot of the current screen.

His is a classic among the classics that is Pacman, that could almost be considered the father of video games. It's been many years since its creation, but still has thousands of followers. And one of them is joserc87, which brings us this game created from scratch by which resembles the original impressively: sprites, scenes, sounds ... all care to the finest detail to make us feel like a recreation of the old days: 1980. It is presented to Scenery Beta 2009 in the section out of competition.
Author, joserc87.
There is little explanation of this classic among classics. Those who already know him will enjoy as much or more than ever, and those not (if it is possible that someone does not know Pacman) not lose the opportunity to put in command of the pacman.
The author says that he has left a record high for piquemos us and try to overcome it.

"Crystal Sky, a chain of free items, free as birds of heaven"
What is Crystal Sky? What are the differences with other versions developed by Arber?
Crystal Sky is a special version of Crystal Vista designed exclusively for the contest Scenery Beta 2009. In this version we can enjoy Crystal Vista but changed graphics and sounds, free of copyright. Crystal Sky has obtained a very simple but nice design making it easy to use while we are not familiar with. The differences between Crystal Sky Crystal and other Vista editions is plain and simple facial change, being in the bottom two versions the same.
The operation is identical to Crystal Sky Crystal Vista Portable, being so graphic changes the only difference between them. If you have questions about installing or using Crystal Sky please visit the tutorial for installation and use (the graphics used in the tuorial may vary with the version of your shell).
Why Crystal Sky has changed graphically?
Crystal Sky's version was designed from the beginning to compete in the contest Scenery Beta 2009. In order to participate and not disregard the rules of the contest has been necessary to change total figure. The graphics that uses Crystal Sky are completely free of Copyright.
Is this the final design of all versions of Crystal Vista?

The coder Japanese ClassG updates its useful plugin macrophytes that comes to version 3.0.6. I remember that macrophytes is a prx that lets you store more keys combos and execute them with the push of just one, thus facilitating the execution of special moves such as those found in many fighting games. Furthermore, the plugin allows you to change the sensitivity of analogue and set the autofire for a key. Usual changelog in Japanese does not allow us to know what's new in this release. There therefore remains to prove that this update and check for improvement.

In recent days, a few blogs have picked up on the fact that the battery on Sony's upcoming PSP Go will be sealed into the unit and not be user-replaceable, just as it is on all of Apple's latest portable devices and plenty of other new gadgets. The integrated battery isn't new news. But what caught people's attention was an old quote from John Koller, Sony's director of hardware marketing, which PlayStation Insider recently ripped off from a June Ars Technica article that had Koller explaining that the move to a built-in battery was a least partially designed to thwart pirates.
The PSP Go's embedded battery is a security feature.
(Credit: Levelup.cn)
In case you don't know the history behind PSP piracy, it goes something like this: For the original PSP-1000 and second-generation PSP-2000, Sony had a secret "backdoor" system for resuscitating frozen or "bricked" PSPs. The process involved replacing the common PSP battery with a special one that unlocked the system.
Alas, the secret didn't last long, and hackers developed their own custom battery (the appropriately named Pandora's Battery) and firmware that allowed anyone to run illicit "ripped" versions of UMD games along with home-brew applications and PSOne titles that had been converted to run on the PSP. Those in the home-brew community maintain that they're just interested in fully accessing the products they've purchased and that pirating games isn't what their creative efforts are about. But the offshoot of the whole movement has been a flourishing trade in pirated games.
Nintendo faces similar problems with hacked DS systems, but a quick check of The Pirate Bay Top 100 handheld games reveals that the majority of the illegal downloads on the list are for the PSP. As I write this, more than 2,000 people are illegally downloading Dissidia: Final Fantasy, the top game on the list.
It's also worth noting that a counter on another site says that 81,000 people have already downloaded a recent custom firmware upgrade that will potentially allow modders to play that pirated version of Dissidia. A couple of competing custom firmware upgrades are out there, both of which appear to have been created by European hackers, including the infamous Dark Alex, a Spanish programmer who hasn't been heard from for a while. Some speculate that Sony has somehow neutralized Dark Alex either through legal threats or compensation, but Sony reps tell me that while they're aware of him, they [Sony], "Really have no relationship with him."
Although Sony hasn't said that much publicly about the piracy issue, it's acutely aware that tens of thousands of people--and quite possibly hundreds of thousands--never pay for games. Over the years, it's been trying to stay ahead of hackers with a steady stream of new firmware upgrades and additional security features incorporated into the PSP-3000 and the game discs.
In a response to some questions I submitted to Sony for this article, Koller says that, "Piracy is an industry-wide issue that ultimately is bad for consumers. We're continuing to take proactive steps to address the issue of piracy and to minimize its impact on the PSP, from both a legal and technical perspective. For example, firmware updates enable us to apply security patches and enhance or add new features."
Many, if not most, new PSP releases going forward will require you to install Sony's latest firmware to run the title (the firmware comes on the game's UMD disc). At this juncture, hackers appear to be a step behind Sony, though message-board posters on sites like psp-hacks.com remain confident Sony's security measures will be breached and that the real game begins when Sony releases its 6.0 firmware (Sony hasn't announced a launch date yet).
If there's an irony in all this it's that that the UMD format was supposed to prevent piracy and now Sony is seeing the move toward digital downloads as an opportunity to keep pirates at bay. Although a bit late (many argue that the PSP should have skipped physical media from the get-go), it's the right thing to do. That said, Sony does face some serious challenges in making the transition to a UMD-less platform.
The $250 price tag on the PSP Go is too high (this is fairly self-explanatory, but it's unclear why Sony would bring out a more expensive device unless it was actually being cautious and didn't want to sell as many PSP Gos as it could if it were priced at $179, like the current PSP-3000 is).
It's unclear just how much people are willing to pay for downloadable games. For a UMD PSP title, you're looking at $30-$40, but the top end for a downloadable game is $29.99 max for a AAA title and $19.99 for AA stuff.
Currently, there's no way to trade in digitally downloaded games. As it is, popular PSP titles don't fetch all that much money at Gamestop or Amazon. But they fetch something, and trade-ins are how a lot of people help finance the purchase of new games.
From this perspective, you can see why Sony is racing toward an Apple App store model in which the PlayStation Store is stocked with $2-$10 PSP micro games (PSP Minis) and hopefully some interesting home-brew-style applications that don't cost much either. In the download world, small and cheap is where the money's at and Sony needs to get lots of developers on board to make the PSP an attractive platform.
Koller says that based on Sony's consumer research, there's strong demand among PSP owners for digital content. "That's why we're launching the PSPgo, which specifically invites consumers who prefer digital content to download games legally," he says. "We're offering a full spectrum of games for PSP owners to download, from bite-sized games in the new 'Minis' section on PlayStation Store to full, large-scale experiences like Gran Turismo."
As far as the pirates go, if history is any indicator, Sony probably won't be able to stop hackers from cracking the Go. (Koller was smart enough not to declare it unhackable; he merely said, "The PSP Go is going to make things tougher on the pirates.")
Ultimately, the company's best defense against piracy may be to offer good, affordable sub-$20 games and applications or perhaps even move to a monthly rental/subscription model that allows you to check out titles for 30 days, with an option to buy at the end. To get to where it wants to go, Sony not only needs to stay one step ahead of the hackers, but it needs to stay one step ahead of the competition. Occasionally, that requires thinking differently.
