News from Lik Sang
Back in 1998, Konami released an Action/Adventure on PlayStation that was bound to establish the new "Stealth-Game" genre, as well as create a videogame character legend: Solid Snake. Metal Gear Solid offered an unique blend of engaging tactical action and a storyline steeped in a rich cinematic feel. As Snake, you found yourself facing the task to eliminate rogue members of the squad Foxhound and defeat a mech-size military fighting machine, Metal Gear Rex. The first remake hit the GameCube in 2004, with MGS: The Twin Snakes, which sported new game mechanics, cut scenes and replay options. Now, Konami invites you to revisit the original story once more, but it's not quite a game, you see. "Bande dessinée" means "comic strip" in French. To be able to re-examining the Shadow Moses incident for a third time, the developers around Hideo Kojima chose an interactive, animated Digital Graphic Novel format. Based on comics from IDW Publishing, written by Kris Oprisko and with artwork by acclaimed artist Ashley Wood, MGS Bande Dessinée is in short a fantastic digital comic that comes alive on your PSP with layered animations, score and sound effects.
Features and Exploring Modes
Since it's not exactly a game, what is it then? One could call it a visual interactive experience, that lets you re-examine the original storyline to the extent of finding out every little bit of background info and related events in the process. It's great for hardcore Metal Gear Solid fans, while for others interested it provides a great story told in a very unique and stylish way to say the least. There are three different modes, the VR Simulation mode, the Mental Search mode and the Memory Building Simulation mode. Running about two hours long, the VR Simulation mode offers a sort of cinematic telling in animated strip form. Illustrator Ashley Wood's images work incredibly well in this setup, and this artist sure knows the MGS universe well: he's drawn the official comic book for years. Whenever you like, you can switch to Mental Search mode and are then able to scan each page carefully to find over 300 points of interest (people, places, items etc.) from the Metal Gear Solid series.

A new PlayStation 3 instalment of Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden series is in the works, says the latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu.
Titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Tecmo's latest high-kicking action-em-up is listed as having a 'TBA' release in the mag, and will apparently let you play as large-breasted baddie, Rachel - which will certainly make for an interesting distraction from the beefy, ninja bloke we usually have to flip around the screen.
It was largely assumed after hints dropped from series creator, Tomonobu Itagaki, that the next Ninja Gaiden would be heading for the Xbox 360. Considering Tecmo's long-standing support of Microsoft's console, the appearance of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3 has certainly come as a surprise.
At this point it's unclear whether Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a completely new instalment or just a next-gen redux - and internet speculation is already suggesting that it's just a prettier version of Xbox offering, Ninja Gaiden Black. We're not convinced of either theory at the moment, but we'll let you know when more details on Sigma reach our ears.

Playstation Spot has been quite interesting till now in terms that it allows us to have access to game demos of upcoming titles.
The game demos have been kind of "streamed" rather than allowed to be downloaded to memory sticks all this while. You exit the game demo and that s the end. One cannot save the same to the stick to play over and over.
TGS (Tokyo Game Show 2006) playstation spot aims to correct this by allowing a few titles to be DOWNLOADED to memory sticks for replay later. I am gonna carry a blank memory stick for sure now to TGS this weekend.
The downloadable demos are
Kangaeru EXIT
Bounty Hounds
Blocks Club Portable with Bumpy Trot
Saru Get You: Pipo Saru Racer
LocoRoco(wont downlaod for obvious reasons)
Ohh, I nearly forgot ,

A new release of the Gameboy emulator for the PSP, heres the release info:
Version Changes:
Homer has been so busy of late, I wasn’t given any version changes, so I messed around with the software and manually found version changes. (I will add them as they come)
-New eLoader icon (Winner from Homer’s art contest)
-New default menu background (Serideth’s winning bg)
-A more complete file browser
-Press “L” to switch between flash1, flash0, disc0, & ms0 directories
-The ability to cycle to new commands in the browser using “R”
-Background support has changed, no more “BMP, just “PNG” and “JPG”
-Photo viewer: When viewing a supported image, press “O” to escape, and ▲ to open commands at the bottom left of the screen.
-Picture framing: During a game open menu (L+R), and go down to “GB Frame: On/Off” If you selected a frame from images, the black border around the game (If it isn’t stretched to whole screen) disappears and the background image replaces the blackness. Unfortunately, I don’t know the dimensions of the screen, so I can’t tell you ways to make game borders (think Dgen).
-Improved cheat support

It appears that Sony's been making a lot of demo UMDs lately. The Killzone: Liberation UMD seems to be sent to random PlayStation Underground members and will also be available on newsstands in the next Official US PlayStation Magazine. But there are two more UMD demos to be clamoring for now: Gangs of London, which we assumed would no longer arrive after the game's website stopped taking orders for demos. SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2's demo UMD can be secured by pre-ordering the game at GameStop. That seems a little dumb (aren't demos supposed to help uninterested people in purchasing the game?) but maybe you can hassle your local GameStop employee to give you a disc for free, sans pre-order.

Any game companies want to send me free UMD Demos, Games films and whatever then please email me and get sending

Heres an excerpt:
For many racing fans, the driving experience can be summed up in four letters: Rush. Midway's arcade series was well known for breakneck speeds, beautiful machines and addictive gameplay. But while the franchise has torn up the current day and futuristic roads of San Francisco, it's time to take the series to a different set of streets. Welcome to the streets of LA in the latest racer from Midway, Rush.
Based on the recently released console game, LA Rush, Rush is the story of a street racer, Trikz, who pulls himself up from rags to riches thanks to his driving skill. Unfortunately for the brash driver, an unscrupulous businessman known as Lidel uses his connections to screw Trikz out of every single possession he owns, making his cars, house and money disappear in the blink of an eye. It's up to Trikz to gain revenge on Lidel by rebuilding his empire one race at a time, proving that he is the true king of Cali. Thanks to the open ended level design of the game, players should be able to race through recreated Downtown LA, Hollywood, Santa Monica, South Bay and South Central Los Angeles, tracking down racing opportunities and exploring the city.
