"Worms Revolution Extreme features an extensive single-player campaign spanning 72 levels in total, which are a mixture of missions and puzzles. Levels are set across seven different environmental themes, including Sewer, Farmyard, Spooky, Beach, Mars, Funfair, and Medieval," details the developer.
The Vita version of the game will make use of the console's touch screen to make weapon selection and camera control more intuitive.
The game will also feature local and online multiplayer for up to four players, with gameplay modes including Deathmatch, Forts, or Classic.
A new Treasure Mode will also allow PS3 and Vita gamers to link with each other. "You can help each other unlock 10 special gifts using a lock and key system. Meet the requirements in either offline versus or online battles to receive a key and connect to a friend's PS3 with the corresponding chest to unlock the treasure," explains Team 17.

Sony has shown off a new look at its PlayStation 4 firmware and a close-up peek at the PlayStation App, the next-gen console's companion software for iOS and Android devices. The images were posted on Twitter last night by PlayStation community manager Chris Owen. It's not the first time we've seen the crisp interface in action, but one of the best looks yet at how unified the overall theme is.Views include the PS4 desktop, which has an easily scrollable list of recent games and apps alongside more content about the game you're currently playing. Also seen is the PS4's Pinterest-style social feed, streaming interface, profiles, messaging and video editing. The UI is then shrunk down and moulded into the smaller sized tablet and smartphone screens via PlayStation App, which we saw demoed live on stage at Tokyo Games Show last week. You can spot the "Connect to PS4" button used by PlayStation exec Shuhei Yoshida to interact with AR freebie The Playroom.

Co-op action puzzler Tiny Brains is set to be a launch title for PlayStation 4, publisher 505 Games has announced. This means it will be out on 29th November in Europe and 15th November in North America. Additionally, it will launch on PS3 and PC the same day as its next-gen counterpart.Tiny Brains marks the debut of Montreal-based indie outfit Spearhead Games, a team comprised of former Ubisoft and EA staff who worked on Assassin's Creed 3 and Dead Space 3.I played a spot of Tiny Brains at PAX Prime earlier this year, where I rather enjoyed a mini-game where four players have to work together to push a ball through a giant glass tube without letting it fall into a series of holes. Each animal has a different superpower to help with this. The Bat can push the ball with its force ability, the Gerbil can create temporary walls of ice to prevent the sphere from sliding back, the Rat can use its powers of teleportation to switch place with the ball, and the Hamster's telekinesis can realign the rolling responsibility. Each character's ability takes a few second to recharge so all players must work together to try to set a new high score in the endless chamber.

We all know Grand Theft Auto V has done gangbusters at launch, but one analyst doesn't expect it to lose momentum any time soon.
Doug Creutz of US firm Cowen & Company predicts Rockstar's blockbuster will shift a whopping 25m units in its first year on sale, according to CVG.
He also estimates that more than 15m copies are already in gamers' hands.
"For a game to sell 60 per cent of its first year units in just three days would be abnormally high; we esteem that Call of Duty sells about 45 to 50 per cent of its first year units in its first week at retail," Creutz explained in a business note.
"However, for now we are assuming that GTA V sales will be extremely front-loaded due to high gamer anticipation, and will also have a shorter sales tail given the launch of next-gen consoles in November."
Grand Theft Auto V is already the fastest-selling game of all time in the UK, selling 2.25m copies in its first week.
The game took a record $800m in sales during its first 24 hours.

PS Plus members will get a free PS Vita download of Rayman Origins this week. While the delightful (and sometimes punishing) platformer failed to make it into our Top 10 of 2012, we assure you it was one of the year's high points.
In addition to the free game, PS Plus members may also enjoy their requisite weekly discounts on a select group of games. Playdead's indie darling Limbo is down to $12, Worms: Revolution is $7.50 and Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut – a cross-buy enabled psychological adventure game for PS Vita and PS3 – is on sale for $11.69. Finally, pinball aficionados can slam on the virtual flippers ofPinballstik and its DLC at varying discounts.
You can find these various discounts and your free download when the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow.

Sony's European arm is to carry out PlayStation Network maintenance from Wednesday September 25 at 3pm until Thursday September 26 at 3am.
The PSN, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
"There may be some additional downtime after the maintenance period for testing purposes," Sony says.
The platform holder didn't mention in its announcement that the start of the maintenance period falls around the same time Sony usually rolls out its weekly European PS Store update.
The news could prove doubly annoying for European PlayStation Plus subscribers. This month's 'Instant Game Collection' is due to go live tomorrow, offering subscribers free digital copies of Far Cry 3, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, Street Fighter X Tekken and Touch My Katamari.
We've asked Sony when the European Store update and Instant Game Collection are due to go live this week.
PSN services will also be out of action in the US tomorrow, albeit for a shorter duration, from 10:15am to 4:15pm Pacific Time (1:15pm to 7:15pm Eastern).

Sony’s new-look PlayStation Access team says it is now attracting over 1m viewers to its videos.
Access is an editorial and video platform that is focused on PlayStation events and upcoming games.
The four-strong team was finalised in April this year, and since then the firm has increased its YouTube subscribers from 12,000 to over 100,000.
Focused primarily on video, the Access team also boasts 450,000 Facebook fans and 34,000 Twitter followers.
UK digital and community manager Hollie Bennett says the PlayStation Access team is eager to work with third-party publishers and developers.
“Over the last five months PlayStation Access has rapidly changed, not only in the type of content we create and promote, but the way in which we integrate with the rest of the team at PlayStation, how we work with our third party publisher partners and how we interact with our ever growing community,” said Bennett.
“Since April 2013, Access has gone through some big changes, including the fantastic organic growth of our YouTube channel, which has been one of our key focuses. Our new content is exciting, digestible, informative and leads the way for PlayStation news. Access is a small, dedicated team who love what they do.
“We are always experimenting with new ideas and we hope to grow with the same continued momentum. It is an exciting time to be part of PlayStation and Access is helping to lead the way.”

As gamers complain that making money in Rockstar’s GTV 5 appears to be quite hard, one Redditor thinks they may have uncovered why.
The forum poster, called 1880, discovered a plain XML filewhen opening the store section in the pause menu which shows four “cash cards” next to the downloadable content from the special editions.
These cards range from $100,000 to $1,250,000, and a number of other Reddit posters believe that they will be used for online gameplay.
Many are not happy about the fact that they may have to shell out more money after the initial purchase of the game, to get the full gaming experience.
“This would be so awful seriously, I spent $120 on this game, don't make me spend any more to enjoy online,” said one comment on the Reddit post.
“It's a competitive online game, in which you earn money by completion of heists and missions. Those rich players who have money to spare on in-game money will be at a much higher advantage than those that can't afford it,” added another.
Yesterday, Blizzard announced that it will remove Diablo 3’s auction houses next year, which offer gamers the chance to buy and sell weapons, after admitting that it undermined gameplay. If Rockstar decided to implement these cash cards in GTA 5 there’s a chance the game may get similar complaints.
Of course, there’s a chance that these cash cards are redeemable items found within the game and not something you buy with real money…

Our time with its E3 demo provided a dark, promising glimpse at the game's world.

The updates in the 'Legacy Edition' of FIFA 14 include new kits and rosters, but not anything to do with gameplay, according to a Nintendo press release. Although Nintendo's details are noted for the 3DS version, EA is also releasing the Legacy Edition on Vita, PSP, and PS2, indicating the same lack of update on those platforms. EA previously confirmed to Pocket Gamer that FIFA 14 on Vita is a "reskin" (Pocket Gamer's words) of FIFA 13.
This story is itself a reskin of a previous story; FIFA 13 on Vita was a similarly limited update to FIFA Football, as was FIFA 13 to FIFA 12 on the Wii. In short, EA has plenty of previous experience in this particular area.
FIFA 14 hits North America tomorrow, and Europe on Friday, September 27. Despite the lack of gameplay additions, Nintendo is charging a full retail price of £40 (around $65) for the eShop version. If you feel that's worth it for new names and shirts, please enjoy.

The maintenance is scheduled for a six-hour slot from 10:15pm to 4:15pm Pacific Time (1:15pm to 7:15pm Eastern).
"If you've signed onto PSN over the past few days, you'll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable," explains Sony.
"Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window," it adds.
Sony has confirmed this week's US PlayStation Plus update, which sees the addition of Rayman Origins to the Instant Game Collection.

The 3DS, Vita, Wii and PS2 versions of FIFA 14 will add only new kits and player transfers over their previous instalments, with no new modes or gameplay improvements, EA has confirmed.
All four versions are titled FIFA 14: Legacy Edition, and will feature the same gameplay and modes as the previous year's title with the only changes being updated squad rosters and kits.
Each version is still listed at full price in the UK: £39.99 on Vita, £34.99 on 3DS, £32.99 on Wii and £19.99 on PS2.
The details were confirmed today via a Nintendo eShop press release listing the 'Legacy Edition' version for 3DS.
The description, provided to Nintendo by EA, reads: "FIFA 14 Legacy Edition delivers unmatched authenticity that reflects the current football season with updated kits and rosters but no updates to gameplay or game modes."
This echoes comments made by EA's David Rutter last month which appeared to suggest the Vita version would again arrive as a repackaged version of previous instalments.
Last year fans expressed their disappointment that the Vita version of FIFA 13 included no significant differences from its predecessor FIFA Football, itself based on FIFA 11 gameplay.
Similarly, the Wii version of FIFA 13 was revealed to be all but identical to FIFA 12 with only kit and squad changes made.
Last year's Wii, 3DS and Vita versions were missing the 'Legacy Edition' moniker, which has seemingly been added this year to make it clearer that no gameplay changes have been made.
The FIFA 14 release date is set at September 24 in North America and September 27 throughout Europe. Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will be available when the consoles launch in November.

A key executive at Sony Computer Entertainment has said the company envisions PlayStation evolving into a service accessible from a wide range of first and third-party devices.
Speaking to Dengeki Online (translated by DualShockers), SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida suggested this could be achieved by utilising the capabilities of cloud networks like Gaikai.
"Speaking of the ultimate goal," he said, "we would like to deliver PlayStation games to all devices. So we're considering various things like PC, TVs, Blu-ray players, smartphones and tablets. We hope to continue to expand not only to Sony devices, but even to devices other than Sony's. This is still being studied.
"We previously spoke about PlayStation going from hardware to something closer to a service, regardless of the device - of course PlayStation will still be the centre, but I think we would like to expand to different things."
Yoshida said during Tokyo Game Show last week that a number of PS3 games will be available to play on other PlayStation devices beginning next year in North America.
"We are planning to start serving PS3 games on cloud servers in the States next year for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita - and that means PS Vita TVas well - and expand in regions and content."
David Perry, the Sony employee who managed Gaikai when it was independent, has previously suggested that the ultimate goal is to allow all PS3, PS2 and PSone games to be accessible via the cloud.

Grand Theft Auto V has sold just over 2.25m games in the UK in just five days.
Chart-Track revealed the game beat Call of Duty: Black Ops by 250,000 units. The shooter sold 2m copies in five days back in 2010.
GTA V already broke day one records, selling 1.57m in 24 hours, generating £65m.
Almost 2,000 stores opened at midnight to mark the game’s arrival.
GTA V’s launch week is bigger than all other GTA launch weeks combined, and it has sold 2.4 times more in week one than GTA IV managed.
It is also one of the most critically acclaimed game launches of all time, with a Metacritic score of 98.

A day one match is needed before PES 2014 is able to offer online multiplayer, Konami as confirmed.
That’s not a problem, of course, as one would not intend to take the game online were they not to have an internet connection. The patch unlocks the Friendly Match Lobby, Ranking Matches and the Master League Online.
Konami has also revealed that it will be adding 11 vs 11 multiplayer via a second patch coming “in the weeks after launch”, as well as improved matchmaking support, roster updates, some new faces for players and a number of general cosmetic improvements.
PES 2014 was released last week and debuted in 2nd placein the UK charts.
