The Lavalit guys have released a new version of their Beatem Up for the Dreamcast, PSP, Wiz, Wii, GP2x and Dingoo:
penBOR is a continuation of the Beats Of Rage 2D game engine, which was originally
created by the wonderful folks over at http://www.senileteam.com.
History
----------------------
In 2004, Senile Team released Beats of Rage, a free beat-'em-up for DOS inspired
by SEGA's Streets of Rage series and using sprites from SNK Playmore's King of
Fighters series. The game spread only by word of mouth, but it nonetheless
amassed popularity very quickly. Senile Team soon released an edit pack allowing
anyone interested to create a mod for the BOR engine.
In 2005, Kirby2000 asked Senile Team to open the source code to BOR. They
agreed, and OpenBOR was born. Development on the engine was continued by the
community, and still is to this day.
Available Platforms
----------------------
OpenBOR has a very modular and portable design inherited from Beats of Rage. Ports
to the following platforms are currently supported:
* Windows
* Linux
* Mac OS X
* Wii
* PSP
* Dreamcast
* GP2X
* GP2X Wiz
* Dingoo a320
In addition to the above, the original Beats of Rage engine (downloadable from
the Senile Team website) is available for the following platforms:
* DOS
* Playstation 2
* Xbox
* GP32
* Palmtop

As promised there is more than a week, the Chinese developer PSP Virtious Flame has just launched a new version of its famous 6.xx. POPS Loader
The new version is for new CFW 6.60 (PRO and ME), it adds also firmware 6.60 POPS files from SONY.
The "POPS Loader" and for those who do not know, is an advanced PS1 emulation mode. This allows to choose other kernel versions different from that used by the CFW to emulate this or that PS1 Thurs. For example one can use the POPS Loader firmware 3.52 to emulate PS1 game when we have a CFW 6.39 PRO, PSX emulation is better on older firmwares 3.XX 5.XX.
new / fixed: - Added support for CFW PRO 6.60 - Added support files POPS 6.60 - Fixed some bugs

Sony has noted that play and chat on PS3 are incompatible.
Here are the explanations: Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, tells us that all available memory is swallowed up by the games during operation. To Thatcher in power games on PS3, the same game itself must allocate memory to system memory on its own chat at the risk of falling performance. One can understand that developers prefer to use the memory for other applications more interesting. One more thing promised for months that Sony will not see the day directly integrated into the dash console problem that has no PS Vita since it has 512MB RAM and 128MB of RAM V-cons 256MB of RAM and 256MB of video RAM for the PS3.

For a portable game console, the PlayStation VITA, next jewelry SONY ranks at the top even if it is not yet available! For a multimedia platform, SONY ensures that VITA is a multimedia powerhouse with its online services as well as offline. What is missing now?? A bit of social networks and some instant messaging services, right? In this sense, the firm has let go Nipon some photos that illustrate the service Skype that will be proposed in the future with VITA.
From the photos, the service "Skype" for PS VITA is a little different from what we see on our PC. We see the first picture a colorful list of your friends connected, the Options Bar when it is put to right. Nothing on but it is quite possible that the touch screen of the VITA would enrich the experience well before the camera of course, wait & see! Note that Sony is not the first to implement Skype in its services, Microsoft has also done the same in the future SHIFT dashboard.

As promised, neur0ner gives us the new version of ME 6.60 CFW. The little jewels of our Japanese friend is intended only to PSP-compatible pandora (100X and 200X non-8C).
It still requires a compatible PSP CFW HEN or less than or equal to 6.39, however, install 6.60 OFW should delay since the feat of Davee 6.60 kernel is now released in the wild. For PSP CFW already in ME 6.60 This is an update to apply. The "PSP Compatible" which do not yet need CFW ME6.60 top of 'OFW 6.60 for the installation process. 's new / fixed: - Updating the recovery menu. - New frequency 166/83 for the CPU. Since version 1.1: - Update of version.txt, now the "fake version" is functional. - Update for the NidResolver FuSa_SD.prx.

At this point, it'll be more difficult not to get a free copy of Resistance 3 with thePlayStation 3D Display than to do so. Walmart is throwing in Insomniac's alien-war game with pre-orders of the 3D monitor as well, mirroring offers from Amazon andGameStop.
Resistance 3 was originally the default pack-in with the 24" monitor, but it wasreplaced by MotorStorm: Apocalypse. That decision turned out to be for the best, as now retailers are throwing it in anyway, giving you two freebies instead of one.http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/26/walmart-includes-free-resistance-3-with-playstation-3d-display-p/
