If you enjoyed the original NiGHTS, the next couple of months will be grand. Team Sonic USA head and original NiGHTS designer Takashi Iizuka spearheaded NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, which is out later this month in North America and Japan. Next year will see the original NiGHTS into Dreams... getting a PS2 remake for Japanese release. What are the chances of that getting an international release? Or what about a Wii port? Iizuka says:
There are currently no plans for the PS2 version to be released outside of Japan, and no plans for a Wii version either. It is being released in Japan, due to the high demand for the game. So there are no plans for a worldwide release... so far.
So those who really want to play NiGHTS into Dreams... either import or dust off your Saturns!
Anyone outside Japan who does want to play a PS2 remake of Nights Into Dreams will just have to hope it gets an international release...

A fact sheet on the newly-live Activision Blizzard web site seems to have announced the forthcoming release of Call of Duty 5 and Guitar Hero IV - both titles that have previously not been mentioned.
The fact sheet, which lists various strengths on both Activision and Vivendi also refers to a "new Tony Hawk", "James Bond", "new Marvel titles" and an "entry into racing with Bizarre."
An Activision spokesperson declined to comment or confirm any of the titles, although it's unlikely any of them will come as a major shock given the success of the franchises involved.
No additional details on possible release dates or information about the games' contents were revealed on the site.

FooFoo has posted another great looking Modded PSP, heres the details:
Ok video number 2 for today.
This psp will be on sale through coolmods.co.uk at some point in the next week or so.
What I did here is add 2 leds to each of the original led points, mem/power/wifi that can be switched between using the note key. The blue mode has a music lighting mod. I used a modified version of a headphone amp circuit for the pulsing, it works much better than any other circuit Ive used, the lights are very responsive (not that you can tell in the vid). The Red mode has solid lighting in the triggers an speakers. The colour switching is handled by a PIC microcontroller.
I am really happy with the way this came out. Hope you all dig it.

Yan2Yan has posted a new homebrew release, heres the translated by google details(i dont speak french so have to use them)
Hello everyone
So, for the last contest, I presented a game in Lua, elemental, see here.
Since then, I have resumed in C / C + +, and I have done well because the performances have significantly increased (a little too)
Background
Presentation:
Elemental is a game in which you have to put 4 blocks of the same color (or more) horizontally or vertically in order to destroy them. You win the game when all blocks will be on the line. But beware: every 30-40 seconds (it varies depending on the difficulty), new blocs appear from the top. You will lose if, when the blocks are added, a block (or more) are already at the top of the grid.
How to play:
You have a selection to circumvent the blocks:
ROUND-press for rotating selection in a clockwise direction
- Press SQUARE to rotate the selection counter-clockwise
The direct-selection with the directional arrows
Different modes of play:
For the moment, there are 3 modes of play and 3 levels of difficulty (facile-moyen-difficile):
Elemental-it corresponds to a particular mode without limits
- Contre-la-montre: Time is limited
Beatings limited to: the number of shots is limited
Downloads
- for 3.52: elemental.rar - 3.63MB
- for 3.71: elemental371.rar - 3.63MB

The ScummVM Team recently posted 2 updates on their site, heres the info:
We are pleased to announce another series of games from HorrorSoft are supported, which use the AGOS engine:
Elvira - Mistress of the Dark
Elvira II - The Jaws of Cerberus
Waxworks (Amiga version only)
Help rescue Elvira in Elvira 1/2, and resolve a family curse in Waxworks.
And also this
ScummVM now adds another freeware title to its list of games: Lure of the Temptress, which was the first game to use Revolution Software's Virtual Theatre engine. Players must help Diermot escape imprisonment, unravel the mysteries surrounding the Skorl occupation of the town, and eventually defeat the evil enchantress that controls them.
Excellent News for fans of ScummVM
What Is ScummVM?
ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
Some of the adventures ScummVM supports include Adventure Soft's Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2; Revolution's Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1 and Broken Sword 2; Flight of the Amazon Queen; Wyrmkeep's Inherit the Earth; Coktel Vision's Gobliiins; Westwood Studios' The Legend of Kyrandia and games based on LucasArts' SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more.
Among the systems on which you can play those games are Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Dreamcast, PocketPC, PalmOS, AmigaOS, BeOS, OS/2, PSP, PS2, SymbianOS/EPOC and many more.

From the official site
I hope everybody out there is enjoying 0.9.4 and trying our new online functionality, but for those of you who just managed to get some clean underwear on after the excitement, we have some more news for you, so underwear draw on standby.
From today we will be doing occasional public beta releases! Meaning whatever is on the SVN, you will not have to wait for a year for us to release it. But i will make one note *prepares bold, large text for the few idiots who manage to miss it*
WE WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING BETA BUILDS ON THE FORUM!
I hope everybody can read that, we will not tollerate it, any threads relating to it will be closed and unanswered.
That aside i hope you enjoy your new builds, but be sure to check back occasionally as i won't be informing you of any updates Wink
Head over to the new "Public Beta" section of the downloads page to grab it.

Netaro has updated his Invadors game for the PSP, heres the release details:
Changelog:
Some changes in menus.
PowerUP's were added:
- HPplus, which restores your life by 1, or gives you a +1 total life when hp is full.
- Triple bullets, pretty self explanatory
- Powerplus, with every collected, bullets deal more damage.
4 randomized backgrounds, all thanks to Google search engine.
Each new wave of enemies is stronger, so they take more hits to be killed but also yield more points to the score.
Known bugs:
VERY infrequent crashes. I was able to play for whole hour without any problem, sometimes it just comes quick. In all cases the Triple bullet was on, but upon further inspection of code nothing suspicious was found
Also, previous savestate isn't compatible .
Also, Source code distributed under GPL is included in .rar. Please, if you don't mind, check it and tell me, what should i do with it, what improvements could me made.
So, nice time playing it
