As example, the PSP version has 2 different gamemodes and 1 minigame. And you might see a few bugs, but everything will be hopefully fixed.

The PSN store is about to get an overhaul next week and Sony's announced some planned PSN maintenance prior to the relaunch. This Monday, October 15, from 4am PT/7am ET until 4pm PT/7am ET, PSN will experience some downtime.
If you've logged into PSN over the past few days or make some time to do so this weekend, you shouldn't be affected. That's not to say you'll have access to all of PSN, though – during the downtime, the PSN Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management sections of PSN will be unavailable.

A recently published patent document from Sony, dug up by Kotaku, shows a Move controller with a band inside it capable of producing a heating or cooling effect in a player's hands. One example of how this could be used, according to the patent, is when a player continually fires an automatic gun; the weapon becomes hot, as depicted by the warming of the controller itself. When the player is forced to wait for the gun to cool down, this could be relayed by the cooling of the controller (as well as, it notes, the changing of the colour emitted by the glowing orb on the top of the controller, which could dynamically transition from a 'cool' blue to a 'hot' red).
It also examples scenarios where the player is hit with a fireball, or the use of the controller's heating property to detect an object that's not visible on screen (like a sort of thermal metal detector, we imagine).
Sony even suggests a non-gameplay function - the ability to cool the palms of a particularly sweaty gamer (that would be me).
Sounds cool to us. Until one malfunctions and barbecues someone's palms.

So suggests a message that is now displayed when players try to run the SingStar Viewer app on PS3, which declares itself 'discontinued'.The full message (via Shack) reads, "Support for the SingStar Viewer has been discontinued. The complete SingStar experience will be available as a free download very soon!"
In reply to fan queries, a post on the official SingStar Twitter feed teases an announcement likely next week.
The SingStar Viewer was a free tool which allowed users to browse and purchase SingStar songs and view community videos uploaded by SingStar players. To play purchased songs, however, you need to own a copy of SingStar on disc.
It makes sense that Sony would remove the initial barrier to entry, and simply offer the SingStar game as a free download with a couple of appetiser tunes, and let users purchase more songs to their liking.

The UK arm of retailer GameStop has gone live with what it thinks is the release date for Grand Theft Auto V.
Its listing for the game carries a UK release date of Friday March 1st. Fridays are of course the standard release date for games in the UK.
However, Grand Theft Auto typically has a global release date, and these nearly always fall on a Tuesday – the standard US release date.
If there is one grain of hope for GTA fans, however, is that GameStop-owned US games mag Game Informer has confirmedGTA V as its cover star for its next issue.
If nothing else this means that the PR for the game is ramping up. And that means the game must at least be edging closer to release.
And if Grand Theft Auto V is to be a current-gen release then it can’t leave its release much longer – the odds remain in favour of at least one of Xbox 720 and PS4 making an appearance before the close of 2013.

The Playstation store will get a new look on October 23rd, which Sony promises will make the user experience more streamlined and accessible.
With digitial distribution an ever more important part of the console market, the importance of ensuring that customers can find the content they want is paramount.
The newly designed store was announced on the Playstation Blog, and promises an improved interface, simplified search tool, and better content discovery.
Sony claims the PS Store now holds over 20,000 downloadable games, content packages, and themes, and over 100,000 TV shows and videos.
An interface capable of delivering all this content to an eager audience is key if Sony is to succeed in the digital marketplace.

via Eurogamer
Those of you playing FIFA Ultimate Team and following EA Sports on Twitter will know that the developer has been rolling out tweaks and fixes to its server infrastructure ever since FIFA 13 launched to try to solve issues with trading piles, watch lists and the auction house.
Well, according to a forum post from EA's community manager CHUBOI 7 in the early hours of the morning, there will be more maintenance this week as well as a title update for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 that two-footed tackles various bugs and connectivity issues.
Maintenance that took place yesterday should have successfully addressed stuck and missing items in the FUT watch list and trade pile, duplicate match results in Seasons and Online Friendlies and being relegated from Div 1 in Seasons with matches remaining.
There will also be more maintenance late tonight US time (early Friday UK) that will result in service downtime and will allow the developers to do some work on the FUT auction house, to change error messaging in the FUT Web and EA Sports Football Club apps, and to stop leaderboards displaying incorrect gamertags.
As for the title update, that's beginning to roll out now for the PC version and will follow for PS3 and Xbox 360 users "later this weekend". Here's the full list of tweaks for that:
- Connection stability in Online Seasons when finding an opponent in the Arena, and at kick-off.
- Career Mode freeze while starting a new career with free agents.
- Career Mode hangs when using Game Face.
- Stability in Career Mode when players retire or are being bought back from loan.
- Users will no longer be able to lower difficulty settings in a FUT Seasons match.
- Freeze in FUT Online Tournament HUB on PS3.
- Napoli of Serie A will now have fully authentic kits and crests in FIFA and FIFA Ultimate Team.
- Legacy defending and passing assistance options removed in Pro Clubs.
- Freeze in Pro Clubs Results screen.
- Matchmaking settings in Pro Clubs (with "ANY" and "Match Keeper") will provide the desired results.
- Changes made in National Squad not properly reflected in Manager Mode screen.
- (PC Only) Freeze while retrieving Hospitality Settings.
"Some fans may wonder why we can't fix all the known issues at once," CHUBOI wrote. "That's a fair question and the answer isn't quite as simple. We are delivering improvements and fixes in such a way to ensure the millions of people playing FIFA 13 each day do not experience undue or overly lengthy network/server outages, that title updates and other improvements are done to a high quality, and that we're confident the changes will improve the FIFA 13 experience for everyone.
"We have plans for further updates to FIFA 13 this month, so stay tuned and we'll keep you updated on the dates for these improvements, as and when available."
According to the forum post, FIFA 13 is responsible for "the largest amount of daily online play for any game in EA history". And that's not just me playing the Advanced Shooting Skill Game over and over again for ever and ever.

Only a few weeks ago Sony released its 500GB PS3 SuperSlim and sales have been great for the company, the 500GB version is retailing at £229.
The newly redesigned PlayStation 3 is smaller and lighter than ever before; its the same old PS3 but in a brand new case!
By redesigning the internal design architecture, and removing the disc-fed tray and replacing it with a sliding top-loading disk cover, the PS3 Super Slim is reduced in size by up to 25% compared to the current Slim PS3. This new PS3 has 12GB of flash memory but if you want more you will be able to connect a SATA internal hard drive with use of an official mounting bracket, or pick up an official PlayStation 250GB internal HDD.
The PS3 12GB Super Slim which is on sale for a much friendlier £159 is a home entertainment system in a discreet and sleek console that allows you to play Blu-Ray Discs, DVD's, Music CD's and watch TV through the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 iPlayer (Internet connection required).
Included in the box you'll find:
- PS3 12GB Super Slim Console
- Wireless Dualshock 3 Controller
- AC power cord
- AV cable
- USB cable

Square Enix rebooted version of Final Fantasy XIV, "A Realm Reborn," is still coming to PS3 as well as PC. The company released the first screenshots of the PS3 version today, revealing the new UI for the console version.
The new UI allows players to set up their own button configurations, of course. Square says it's been "designed with the traditional Final Fantasy controls in mind to give the game a classic RPG feel, familiar to any PlayStation 3 RPG gamers." So that means you press X to confirm menu items? And use the d-pad to move between them? We've never put that much thought into "traditional Final Fantasy controls."
Square Enix plans to release both the PS3 and PC versions of A Realm Reborn in 2013.

It seems Rockstar is finally set to pull back the veil on Grand Theft Auto 5, with a demo ready to be revealed to the outside world.
The developer is showing the game to press today, as confirmed by Game Informer editor-in-chief Andy McNamara, who posted onTwitter moments ago: "In NYC, about to check out December's cover game #GTAV", with an accompanying picture of Rockstar's logo. So, GTA 5 will adorn the cover of GI's December issue, due out next month, and asKotaku points out, it often reveals first details on its cover games shortly ahead of the magazine release.
So those of you tired of the slow drip-feed of info we've gotten so far will likely get your fill of new details next month if not sooner.
As reported earlier today, GameStop UK is listing a Grand Theft Auto 5 release date of Friday March 1, 2013. Probably placeholder, but March has been previously rumored.

The PlayStation 3 has surpassed 5m consoles sold in the UK, MCV can reveal.
The firm reached the milestone as a new-look 500GB PS3 hit the market on September 28th, causing a 138 per cent jump in sales that week. A 12GB SKU is out today (October 12th).
And the firm’s UK MD Fergal Gara told MCV that the momentum is behind PS3, buoyed by strong showings at Gamescom and E3, plus the formation of a new UK team.
“It is fantastic that we passed the 5m mark,” Gara told MCV. “But most importantly to me is not the milestone itself, but the fact that there is momentum behind it. And with the new chassis, and the way the market is panning out this year, PlayStation definitely has the momentum.”
SCE UK has undergone a restructure over the past 12 months following the arrival of Gara. These have included the recent appointments of marketing director Murray Pannell from Ubisoft and commercial director Alex Coultate from Universal.
“I am pleased with the talent we’ve got on board,” Gara added. “You can actually feel the energy going through the business. These guys know that they have a lot to do to make sure the Christmas plans are sharp and focused, and they have come to them relatively late. So they are working at a hell of a pace.
“I can already feel a positive buzz that wasn’t there only a few weeks ago.”

PSN, Sony’s digital marketplace, is to receive an overhaul this month which aims to address criticisms levelled at the service by users. The new look uses a darker palette and more of the available screen estate to pack in content. There’s also a new storefront, of course, that has been designed to better promote new games, movies and TV content.

The team Xk3y known in the world for the first Xbox 360 DVD emulator (DEDA) returns to the load on Ps3.
Just like the Xbox, you must dump the key BD player to do this, the team will release a software 3K3Y running custom firmware 3.55. Once the dump is, you can update to a newer firmware, thus including the Psn. The team 3K3Y aka XK3y currently looking for other ways dumped the key. Voila what revived once again the Ps3 hack.

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/11/hey-wol...ninja-release/
In 2012 the scene has released 6 user mode exploits in PSP Games, that were leveraged to run either VHBL, or, more recently, Total_Noob’s CEF. These releases accelerated recently with the publication of 3 game exploits in the past 3 weeks: Monster Hunter, Urbanix, and Mad Blocker Alpha. Despite this, some people weren’t able to grab the exploits and are asking me when the next one is coming.
There are many things to say about this. First, I want to make it clear that I did not develop any of these exploits myself, and I certainly do not own a patent for the concept of “Ninja Releases”. In other words, anybody with a usermode game exploit could make their exploit compatible with Total_Noob’s CEF, then handle a Ninja Release on their own, or even contact me to handle it.
For those of you who still didn’t figure that out, in order for Total_Noob’s CEF to run, 2 exploits are required: a usermode exploit to be able to run unsigned code (that’s the game exploits), then a kernel exploit to do a privilege escalation (that’s Total_Noob’s exploit). The kernel exploit itself is not tied to a specific game.
I think it is really essential to understand that there is nothing that really makes me necessary in this process at all. Sure, we have a huge community focused mostly on the PSP and the Vita, which makes the Ninja Releases very relevant to guarantee that a maximum amount of people get the information before Sony pulls the game, but what I’m saying is, begging me for a new release is not necessarily the best way to get what you want.
Again, finding usermode exploits in psp games is not difficult, and is well documented (also here). All you need is a hacked psp, lots of free time, and a brain. Some of you might wonder “well duh, if I had a hacked psp, why would I even want to look for more psp exploits?”, and I will reply that if everybody thought that way, we wouldn’t be enjoying Total_Noob’s CEF today. Others might think it’s too difficult… I am baffled at the amount of people who keep asking me where to find the info to find those exploits, when again it’s relatively well documented, and google is your friend. It’s not like there is a “psp hacking school” or something
Back to the recent Ninja releases, some people are wondering why we revealed two game exploits for firmware 1.81 (“why didn’t you guys wait for firmware 1.82?”), while others ask if we plan to release more.
As to why we released 2 game exploits for this, there are two reasons. First, the Urbanix exploit was leaked, and we feared the information didn’t spread fast enough for people who would have been interested in Total_Noob’s CEF.
Second, it is really essential to understand here that firmware 1.82 (or whatever comes next) will most likely patch Total_Noob’s Kernel exploit. If we had waited for firmware 1.82 to reveal the MBA exploit, it would have been “less” useful, as people wouldn’t have been able to use Total_Noob’s CEF, but rather something like VHBL, which provides less features. In other words, usermode exploits are less valuable than a Kernel exploit, so it made sense to “waste” a second usermode exploit on 1.81 rather than wait, especially since there are lots of other game exploits lying around.
So, why not release yet another game exploit before 1.82 then? Well, again, I do not control all the releases, and if you have a game exploit that you want to share for this, feel free to release it, or to contact me for a ninja release. But I see several reasons to think it wouldn’t really be worth it.
First, I strongly believe that people who were able to miss 3 exploits (Monster hunter, Urbanix, and MBA) in the past 3 weeks would not be able to catch a 4th one. Seriously, if you didn’t see the previous 3 ones, what makes you think you’ll see it this time?
Then, well, the Mad Blocker Alpha release wasn’t even planned initially, I just decided I’d try to contact Total_Noob and Frostegater on that subject, and they agreed it was a good idea… but my point here, people who ask for a second chance.. well, Mad blocker Alpha *was* that second chance… and technically, if you include all the previous exploits, it was like the 6th chance you had (yeah, Total_Noob’s CEF is still not ported to previous exploits besides Monster Hunter, but I am still convinced this is only a matter of time). Sure, a few people in there were really following all these events, and just got unlucky for various reasons, but the thing is, at this point I believe they probably represent a tiny minority that does not justify releasing a new usermode exploit (unless, of course, one of these guys actually has one and wants to share)
Finally, given how fast Sony removed Mad Blocker Alpha from theirs online stores, and the amount of leaks that happened for this release, I think the Ninja Release concept has shown its limits, and we need to adapt it. At least, we will be revising the list of trusted people more thoroughly.
On that point by the way, several people have contacted me to tell me the ninja release should happen progressively, so that less trusted people get the information after the others. This is already what’s happening, and this is why the information started to leak only days after the Ninja release had actually begun.
Well, I guess that’s what I had to say on this. Bottom line is, no extra Ninja release planned by me so far for 1.81, but of course nothing’s written in stone
