Following the release of TN-A for Urbanix by Total_Noob, Japanese porters, hiroi01 and teck4 are bringing us yet another sandboxed PlayStation Vita HEN, this time for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.The Japanese release of Monster Hunter 3 for the original PSP was originally found to be exploitable in the past month. Since then hundreds of users have had the chance to download the vHBL port. Following the release of TN-A for the PSP Mini, Urbanix, many were left to wonder which vHBL releases the HEN would be back ported to.
Wonder no more, as this marks the first of what will possibly be numerous back ports to older Vita Homebrew Enabler releases. Just as the Urbanix exploit for the European version of the game was ported to the US and JP versions, there’s no doubt Monster Hunter will follow the same suit. It is asked, however, that you practice patience while the porting takes place.
If you are one of the lucky few who own MHP3rd on 1.80 or lower, you can hit up the source link for the official release of the save game you will need to start enjoying eCFW 6.60 TN-A on your Vita. There you will find instructions on what files to place where and how to execute the exploit. Stay tuned for further information and releases in the coming days and don’t forget to check out Wololo’s recent blog post regarding Tuesday’s ninja release and TN-B. Special thanks to Total_Noob, hiroi01, teck4, and Wololo for this release.

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/08/playsta...1-information/
In one of my previous posts, I mentioned Red Power 4.21. I noticed in the comments that there were people who were slightly confused so I thought I would spread a little light on the matter.
Information is still incredibly scarce, so what I say isn’t carved into stone and is of course subject to change.
The Red Power Team (Hereby referred to as RPT – although the only person I can confirm working on this is Deank) have been working on a CFW that works on 4.21 however; there are still teething issues. It can be run on 4.21, but has been known to crash and fail during the writing process thus leaving the user on 4.21 so of course, it’s incredibly risky (though this will probably be fixed prior to the release of the CFW).
The only information available at present points to the fact that your console will be required to be in CEX, though this information seems rather unreliable, so simply keep it in the back of your minds, but know that it is a possibility.
In regards to it requiring a dongle; Deank has declined this. So ignore sources that state otherwise unless Deank or any other (if indeed there are) other members of RPT state otherwise.
Some of the features of Red Power 4.21 will include:
•Working Blu-Ray (tested 2 movies so far with full functionality)
•Working DLC Pkg install
•Many new games working which include:
- Resident Evil 6 (Demo)
- PES2013
- Dynasty Warriors MR2 HD
- Dead Or Alive 5
•Working PSX Games (from PSN – other Eboots unconfirmed)
What will not work:
•Connecting to PSN as it will force an upgrade
•Hatsune EX (This allows access to PSN via a Bypass. Sadly, will not work)
•Homebrew (Major sad-face for this one, but RPT have stated that only MultiMAN will work – no other homebrew).
A new version of MultiMAN is also being released for this CFW, which will bring a plethora of new features including: direct disc access, a BD-movie region changer, sc36 BD-emulator and raw access to physical media.

Deroad released a utility to install a Ps3 pkg without the option of the XMB.
The author tells us PSChannel always work (even if it has no release date) and has developed this new option. This application is useful if for some reason we do not have access to install pkg from the XMB. Their installation will create a new icon on the XMB, just put a pkg to the root of a USB device (maximum Pkg 100 and a maximum size of 4Gb each), plug the USB to the console and launch the Homebrew. The console will reboot once installed Pkg. Package Install Homebrew Official website: devram0.blogspot.it

Works on Monster Hunter - Download OpenCMA - Place the folder ULES of the archive in the folder "PSAVEDATA" on the PC (C: \ Users \ NAME \ Documents \ PS Vita \ PSAVEDATA \ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) - Connect PC to Vita and started Content Manager on the Vita - Select "connect to PC" and "PC to Vita" and scroll down - Select backup DBZ: Tenkaichi Tag Team - Start VHBL and install the zip - Navigate the menu to SAVEDATA and HBL Click or round cross on it - The HBL will ask to install the homebrew, answer yes - The homebrew is installed and can be launched from the GAME folder, if all went well, a new sub-folder with your homebrew was created here. You can only access the PSP memory stick, but it's still better than having to connect with CMA to transfer homebrew PSP.

A lot of noise on the PS3 scene recently, with a CFW 4.21, the possibility of a new dongle Blue Disk and many of Eboots release.
Summary of Comments of the Chinese team. (Briefly translated) Quote:
- During our first "demonstration", we did not say anything about marketing or not this Custom.
- The Blue team Disk never published before dongle 3.55.
- We understand that many users are not satisfied with previous dongles 3.55, we prepared two versions:
-> You can not update to the latest CFW and you will remain on this custom.
-> You can upgrade to the CFW more recent. We offer changes "handware" and free updates. We undertake to update this CFW ever.
- Both versions are very economical and we will announce the price later.
- Prepare other surprises when we launch the Blue Disk. FAQs - The Blue Disk is compatible with consoles Downgradable ONLY, and may be on consoles 3.55 or earlier. - No need to change your device after updating to this new CFW and you can return to a 3.55 back via a PUP. You can upgrade to an OFW. These actions can be done so repeatedly. - No risk of Bricke known (do not power off during the update). - Launch backups since BDCFW via internal or external hard drive without any modification. - The Blue Disk can be removed after the launch of the CFW. No need to leave it plugged in all the time. - The BD team develop more features for the dongle as emulation PS2 cheat codes offline / online.
Later, people were ConsoleCrunch contacted anonymously by a former developer and have a few theories about this. Citation:
ConsoleCrunch Hello, I'm an old dev and I have great news about CFW 4.21, some people call me a liar, and now they use what I explained about the CEX-DEX, the decryption Eboots etc ... I'll tell you some news on CFW 4.21. It is easy to make a CFW 4.21, first you must have a PS3 4.21 DEX, which will help you decipher all the "dev_flash" & co .. . You'll also need to empty the LV2 from the DEX (to decrypt the LV2 4.21) and after all that you have to do is resign and play a custom with peek & pook. 4.21 Remove the pup Cex , decrypt files with Dex Ps3 4.21, collect keys, make a custom Pup 4.21 with 4.21 signed new files / changed. Mujarrad Hi, already tested long ago ... It was one of the solutions, you can Kernel dump from 4.21 to 4.21 and Dex example above to create your own custom Dex. To Cex is almost similar, but you need a Ps3 Dex for development. You can encrypt and decrypt what you want with Dex Ps3 4.21 and good applications. For example Multiman you dumped the Lv2 4.21 and decrypt it with the PS3 (you must also activate the Log) which will record all your actions and save them on a USB device. This is used by the team for NodRm Ps3 games, you can do it yourself, if you do not want to wait for the release. applications One of the best is "memdump" which allows you dumped the LV1/LV2 and Flash, do not forget this application it Dex is useful 4.21.
Finally, the same source has shared the following information with some bonus files. Citation:
This is only the beginning, if you do not want to read all you can spend the bonus. Issue 1: A man is talking with someone about a long history happened in the past, this man finds all solutions but did not have time to show all he knows. After that, the poor people who do not respect the open source solutions make their own dongle. Issue 2: Asked a commercial private. How can you sell a product that does not yet exist? The business will tell you that it is simple, keep waiting, they are waiting more easier it is to sell ... Because people want what they do not need and is inaccessible (Apple method). We call this easy money with an easy. Issue 3: Watched my ad before and after the behavior of these devs ... action / reaction ... Trying to defend themselves to hide the real point is the method devs who want to make money and you never know do it alone. The fact is, if you work on a project, you should not worry about what people say and continue to work until to the end, and leave out the open source ... The difference between a commercial and open source dev. Issue 4: The PS3 community is not at all stupid, stupidity is the gesture. Done simply by buying the dongle True Blue is not stupid because you believe that the product will give you an advantage over the PS3, which is stupid, this is the dev that leaves you thinking that you're stupid. Item 5: A suitable point 4, the commercial position (show a little rather than all, it is better to trade). since the beginning We know how to work on PS3, but we do not show anything until he has something bigger and useful ... With the supportive position of SCE (Jailbreak, SCE tools, CEX-DEX and nothing really coming from the devs, only the one who has everything). Stage 1: the output of commercial dongles 3.41 (Jailbreak) does not work that much, we will publish this for free on all platforms (N900, Palm Pre, Texas instruments ...) we know almost everything about the PS3 firmware 3.41. Stage 2: CFW come out for PS3 keep patient community, welcome to the 3 55 (you know, after all, that Sony will release a firmware update ...) Output 3.6x, ok, it's time to plan the True Blue ... Let them believe in this product. Exit True Blue and the alternative (money money does not work on 3.41) You know all the new products from a new company need a start. For the next product, it will be easy to sell because the company has enough time to know what the public wants. Back to the story ... Let us a little about the True Blue because it begins to know what happens ... Phase 3: someone returns it and says all too much about the CEX-DEX and how to decrypt Eboots ... We need to find another solution and try to find a new product ... Because people will not accept to pay a new True Blue .. Oh damm ... Talk about a new CFW-> they will talk about on the web and later say that people have to pay to use and you can use it on 3.55 ... Conclusion: About point 5 and phase 1/2/3, check the reaction of the PS3 community each commercial product released and make a new product that we can sell it again without any problem ... Playing with old stuff that we know from some time to do new things ... Most of these devs do not know what they do, because the work is already done and we received great help PS3 Official Development Source (the CEX-DEX is a not great, but with the help of SCE, as the JIG / Jailbreak) Now think about it, why release a CFW 4.21/4.25 compatible only 3.55 when you can get a compatible PS3 .. Because, as I said, most of these devs do not know anything about it or how they can off the new PS3 ... Be a way to do it, but the problem is that you must use official tools from Sony, which conclude the point. Bonuses I'll explain two ways to properly exploit your PS3 3.55. 1) Forget CFW 3.55, the conversion CEX to DEX is already the best step you have to do even better than CFW. You can do whatever you want, but some devs do not tell you (look at what is just going after leak ). Would definitely recommend to be DEX and read all Pdf provides (1-2-3), you can do what you want after (do not be lazy to run things and do not be afraid You can not really Bricke a PS3 if you have a jailbreak (hardware flasher?) next to you.) After reading this, you should know how to decode / run all programs and even make your own custom firmware, what you patched need ... 2) For pros and amateurs devs or anyone wanting to learn FreeBSD & Co. You must build a FreeBSD base under Ps3 Dex and make your own kernel with the latest driver (gpu / cell / etc ...). petitboot Use for GameOS or started under OtherOS ... So you can charge large parts of the system to work with (decrypted, make your own custom ...). Can launch application and games from FreeBSD, but you must make your own loader, seriously for a dev is a breeze. idea is to use the emulator in the PS3 Cell Dex, load the Kernel Ps3 dumped and decrypted what you want ... The debugger is the job for you. Methodology for PS Vita Remote Play: You can force 480p on the Vita and play all games in 480p and even 576p up. - You need a Ps3 Dex - In 4.20/4.21, save your Vita in the ps3 with the function stored in a private network - 3.55 Downgrader by Dex - In DEX CFW 3.55, go to your computer and take all the "Param . SFO "of your game in the last PS3Gen and forced the" 480p only PS Vita " - Connect Vita remote play ps3 in the Dex (the system will keep the Vita recorded on Ps3) - On the Vita, go to settings Debug and force the resolution to 576 - Now you can run games 480/576

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/07/missed-...oming-for-you/
In the past 9 months, we have released 4 user mode exploits on this site, by letting our forum’s members know about them first, then making public announcements. This has been reasonably successful, and people who know where to look have been usually rewarded by knowing the name of the exploited game long enough in advance. Some people still haven’t figured that out. One typical uneducated comment I can see here or on other scene websites, when we do the public announcement, is “why do you guys announce it publicly, now Sony will patch it and nobody will get the exploit in time”. Well, for those who didn’t get it yet, we announce the exploit publicly days after members of our community have known about it. This way we guarantee that people who are really interested in homebrew on their vita actually get a good chance to get the game.
The rules slightly changed with the Urbanix exploit, as the exploit for this specific game was leaked. We did try to organize a Ninja release around this leak, but we had to give up when Total_Noob released his own eCFW for that game, and Sony took the game away within hours. As a result, many people missed the chance.
But Total_Noob announced something big today on PSPKing: his upcoming update of CEF TN will bring “another chance” for people who missed the Urbanix exploit, and this will happen on Tuesday. In other words, if you missed the Urbanix exploit, there’s another game exploit coming for you soon.
Of course, if you’re actually waiting for Tuesday to get the name of the game, you are probably missing the point of my article. And by the time you actually get the information (on a related note, believe strangers at your own risk!), it will be a matter of hours, not days, for you to take the decision and buy the game or not. Not only will the game be removed from the store as soon as the announcement is public, there is the additional risk that the kernel exploit actually gets patched with an upcoming firmware.
For people who are on the Monster Hunter exploit or other previous exploits that were used in VHBL, Total_Noob told me recently his upcoming update CEF TN B will make it much easier to port his work to existing game exploits. At this point, I cannot really say if it is better for you to stay on your current exploit, or if you’d rather download the new game. In any case if you have one of those previous exploits, do not update until you actually know what the new game is.

Developer yosh (a.k.a. wth), known among other things for the VHBL port on Everybody’s Tennis, but also for creating a great alternate menu for VHBL (yMenu), just released an update of his menu that is now compatible with Total_Noob’s eCFW for the Vita.
This menu brings nice features and animations to the original by Total_Noob: improved stability, the possibility to customize your background, etc…
To install, just extract the zip in your Urbanix save file, and copy the savefile again on your PS Vita, using OpenCMA
Alhough there should be no risk in this operation, be sure to have a backup of your vita system handy everytime you touch something related to Total_Noob’s exploit. We’re hearing horror stories of people who wiped out their game by mistake and didn’t have a backup. Remember that you can’t download the game from Sony’s stores anymore (and the day they put it back, the firmware will have been patched!)

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/07/recent-...e-of-the-vita/
Recently the have been some monumental changes within the PSVita scene as you all (should) know. But where do they leave us now? And where do we go from here?
To summarise, we’ve had a user known as Sam Jordam (or Ipadboy to those of us on Wololo’s Forums) Coldbird leaving the scene, and a very cleverly named eCFW released by Total_Noob. These are incredibly significant in not only the current state of the PSV but also what’s to come.
Sam Jordam is a name that we all know, and probably hate right now for being a bit of well… an ass. He wasn’t very liked on the forums, and as Wololo has stated, he had also been threatening to hack this site and close it down although clearly these threats were empty however, it never occurred to me that someone such as himself would have such a large impact on the future of the Vita. If you are interested finding out more about Sam Jordam and his antics and Coldbird’s departure, you can find more information here.
If you decide to watch his other videos (Sam Jordam), you’ll notice he starts off by saying things such as “not my files, not my problem” and that he is actually helping us, then he releases a video claiming that it was a mod from Wololo’s forum’s fault THEN he releases another video claiming to apologize for the departure of Coldbird, however it’s just under a three minute long video of several images of dead birds, and two videos of people throwing about and otherwise abusing the corpses of some – not worth watching, and sickening if you do. Furthermore, he ends this video with a troll face, which sadly sums everything he has done up until now which may have destroyed our chances of a fully customisable Vita and full use of its hardware – however, there are many skilled Devs on the case, so only time can tell.
Coldbird had already left the scene in the past due to the ridiculous demands placed upon his blog by people that seem to believe that Devs have no life of their own, and simply sit in front of computers all day doing nothing but coding, which is of course; completely and utterly incorrect (and a ridiculous thought to boot). Finally getting fed up of this, he left the PSP scene returning to the Vita scene over a year later. He had been actively participating in the Vita’s development, and had spent four months writing his own Custom Firmware which had not long been complete when Ipadboy leaked this to public – though, I won’t go into the ins and outs of how he got these files. I guess this just restored the idea of how dramatic and aggravating people can be for Coldbird who had enough and decided to leave the scene once more, which is a massive blow, as there are few people who are as skilled and dedicated to the scene as he was, plus, he joins a list of many other Devs to have quit the scene, due to either the public or specific individuals. So from us all; Goodbye, Coldbird – thank you for all your amazing work!
Total_Noob has been working very hard, and released a Custom Firmware that works on the Vita known as 6.60 TN-A. What’s more is that Total_Noob has promised to release a new Firmware at the end of this week labelled 6.60 TN-B – if you want to know more about this, click here.
This may look like a positive thing coming from a very, very bleak circumstance, and it is – we have a lot to thank Total_Noob for. However, what’s to come in the future? Well, although this remains purely down to speculation I will still state some possible outcomes as I see them: there are multiple groups still working on the Vita, and probably a lot of independent Devs, but the issue arises that there is a possibility that they are using the same, or very similar kexploits (kernel exploit). These files are readily available, as such they can easily patched by Sony in the future which would hinder future developments, or possibly completely stunt them altogether.
The outcome of this is that yes, we have a Custom Firmware with Homebrew and Iso loading capabilities (which for those of you who are unsure, is limited to PSP Iso files), however it may be that sadly, we may never unlock the full capabilities of the console.
What do you think is the future of the console?

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/04/total_n...ter-this-week/
In a very short statement on PSPKing.de, famous PSP/Vita Hacker Total_Noob announced he will be releasing an update to his recently published eCFW – emulator Custom FirmWare, a new term to design a PSP Custom firmware running within the PSP emulator on the PS Vita – later this week.
Total_Noob said the new release, named CEF 6.60 TN-B, will have bug fixes, improvements, as well as potential new features. The developer is asking the community to provide a comprehensive list of bugs if possible (rather than individual reports) so that he can start working on fixing as much as he can. We do have a thread where you guys can discuss bugs, but if one member of our community could compile this thread into a “clean” list, that would probably be super helpful for him.
Stay tuned, as more stuff keeps coming almost every hour for this exploit.

Total Noob, famous for his TN Hen tool for the PSP a few years ago, is back on the Sony scene with an insane release: a PSP Custom Firmware compatible with the recently leaked Urbanix Exploit!
Total Noob just published a PSP CFW that works on the PS Vita on firmware 1.81 if you own the Urbanix Mini. That Mini can still be purchased on the PSN as I type this, and if you’re lucky enough to have a European account, you can get the mini for free by going to this url.
I haven’t tested this yet, but I can pretty much guarantee this is not a Fake, and the person behind this really is Total_Noob. More explanations will come later about the features of this CFW, but in the meantime hurry up, get yourself a copy of Urbanix, and give this a try.
You will notice that Total_Noob mentions that Coldbird got access to his exploit from a “trusted” person on the scene. That person is me, and I broke the trust TN put in me by doing so. I already apologized to Total_Noob for this, but more explanations and a public apology will come in another post. What I think is important to mention for now is that Coldbird’s CFW (the thing that was leaked) was actually not using TN’s exploit.

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/02/the-cur...012-continued/
In addition to Darkanubis74 post, there are some things I’d like to add and address. In his post, he referred to 3.55 and its hackability. In regards to this I have found several different sources of information and possibilities.
First, you must ensure that your console is hackable by checking the date on the console. Unlike the majority of consoles, model number is unreliable as they shipped the same models with various Firmware at certain points – there are 120 and 160gb PS3 that have the possibility to be hacked, so bear this in mind. Having said that, it is known that 3000 models cannot be downgraded, and some 2500 also cannot. To downgrade the PS3 however, it is only possible to do so via a hardmod – either E3 Flasher or Progskeet AND Teensy ++ USB.
It is possible to DualBoot on the PS3, meaning you can run 3.55 CFW (read below) and up to 4.20 OFW although I have no information on whether or not this works with 4.21, so be careful. For those of you interested in developing homebrew, it is also possible to DualBoot Linux and FreeBSD with the use of OtherOS++.
3.55 hosts a range of different custom Firmware available. For instance, there are: Waninkoko, Wutangrza and Geohot. All of which host different pro’s and con’s, so if you are planning to look into this, then I have one piece of advice; Read, Read, Read and Read! (Then again, the same always applies, does it not?)
A recent exploit that has hit the scene like a storm is the CEX to DEX exploit. This allows PS3 users of 3.55 and below to convert their PS3 from a retail console, to debug. There are a few benefits to this, which I shan’t go into. The main however; is that you can update your FW to the latest, and revert as you do so desire. There are drawbacks to this however, as one would imagine. For instance, it’s possible that Sony could patch this in the future (if it has not been done already), also from what I’ve sourced, you lose the ability to play Bluray and DVD. If you want more information then click *here*. Also, zadow28 has found a way to run PS3 games in full debugging mode, which is also a nice addition to this.
Finally, Deank has confirmed that a new custom Firmware is on the horizon known as “Red Power’s 4.21”. As the name suggests, it’ll be working with the latest Firmware, which is a very nice surprise. There is little information regarding this at present, but for those with consoles that are unable to be downgraded, you may, in the future have the ability to get in on all of this juicy goodness!

via http://wololo.net/2012/10/01/vita-cf...ves-the-scene/
There’s lots of things to be said about what just happened over the past couple days, and sadly I don’t have much time right now, but answers will be given asap to all of you. What matters for now is that a PSP Kernel exploit, as well as a CFW relying on it, fully working on the PS Vita, was leaked 2 days ago by a “Sam Jordam” guy on Youtube (download links below). One of the main persons behind this work (which wasn’t supposed to be released now), famous PSP developer Coldbird, decided to leave the scene today, after this leak happened.
I will give as much details as I can in the days to come, but for now let me just say that the files that were leaked have been confirmed by Coldbird to contain a Kernel exploit, but these files are encrypted, and potentially useless for anybody who does not have strong reverse engineering skills. Coldbird has confirmed to me (and in his blog) he has no plan anymore to release this CFW, so what we have here is a Kernel exploit that will most likely be wasted since I expect Sony to patch the vulnerability in a firmware update. In addition to the Kernel exploit leak, the name of a game with a usermode exploit (as well as the user mode exploit) was also leaked. That game is the PSP Mini Urbanix, which, if you can read between the lines, readers of this blog already knew was vulnerable. If you are on 1.81, I recommend you get this game before it gets removed from the PSN, fully knowing that as of now, I personally don’t have anything running on this exploit (in particular no VHBL release is ready for this yet).
People who are running on 1.80 with the Monster Hunter exploits might want to stay on 1.80. If anything useful ever comes out of the kernel exploit, I am sure it will run fine on Monster Hunter as well.
At this point I think a bit more info is required about the leaker and how all of this was leaked. A private group of beta testers existed for this exploit, and in a sad chain of events, this person (who goes by the names of Sam Jordam, Batman:beyond, or ipadboy, among other of his identities) got his hands on these files through some basic social engineering, and decided to publish them.
It needs to be emphasized that all people involved were aware of the legal risk of publicly releasing such a tool, but this person seems to not be afraid of that (good for him, I guess, he probably thinks he can succeed where geohot and graf_chokolo failed). The hackers even went as far as encrypting the files to limit the damage in case those files were stolen, which is why, in their current state, the files are useless.
I also need to insist on the fact that, in unrelated events, this person had threatened the security of my site several times in the past, involving threats of hacking this site, attempts at stealing information, illegal port and vulnerability scanning, as well as threats to some members of our community and some of our moderators. This person also insists on his video that hackers were trying to hide this hack from the scene in order to enjoy the hack for themselves, which is not true. Simply, most hackers working on that type of thing are realistic about the legal risks of enabling piracy on Sony’s latest device, which doesn’t seem to have crossed that individual’s mind. In other words, a truly great person, who doesn’t seem to worry he is doing illegal stuff.
Some of you might question the decision from Coldbird to leave the scene and not release his work after this. Please understand that it was not an easy decision for him, but there is way too much risk in releasing a Kernel exploit on the PS Vita right now, from a legal point of view. Sam Jordam took the risk of being the first person to release a tool that could easily enable PSP piracy on the PS Vita, while reasonable hackers were all clever enough to avoid these dangerous waters until know, and keep their work for themselves. Will this lead to Sony taking legal action against this guy? I can’t tell for sure, but other hackers didn’t want to be the ones testing the waters for that. Their files were stolen, so legally everything is on this guy’s shoulders, and I understand that nobody else would want to share the legal burden with a leaker, so there is a huge risk nobody will ever even try to touch these files.
There is also the feeling in the community right now that this person should not be helped. He decided to leak some files? Good for him, now let’s let him reverse engineer the files, and figure out a way to get it to work for everybody else. And if some of you disagree with this and think he could use some help, for the good of the community, then knock yourself out, the files are out in the open, I won’t judge (I’m sure most users would be happy with a PSP Kernel exploit on the vita right now).
As far as I’m concerned, I will try to get at least VHBL to run on the Game exploit, in order for this to not go to waste, and some people have already offered some help on that (they will be named in time).
Keep in mind that all that’s happening today is the result of the actions of one single person, and that is the only person to blame.
TL,DR: Some files containing a User mode exploit in Urbanix, as well as a Kernel exploit (that still has to be reverse engineered) were leaked by a youtube user named Sam Jordam. This guy was a known a##hole for some time already, and has proven to be up to his reputation. The files he stole then leaked are encrypted and not usable for anybody in their current state. One of the only persons who could have helped with this, famous hacker Coldbird, decided to leave the scene after this. There is so far one can go for the love of homebrews.
Bye Coldbird, and thanks for everything !

Wave’s Loader 3D 1.0 is a new 3D homebrew application which was made available to the PlayStation Homebrew community for PSP users . This cool homebrew application is capable of Reading 3D files and out putting it on your PSP Screen . Now this is awesome, Now developers who use this homebrew tool will be able to create some cool 3D homebrew game and or application using Wave’s Loader 3D 1.0 . So how does this work , Well below is a bit of information from the developer on how this PSP Homebrew Application known as Wave’s Loader 3D 1.0 works for the PSP System . It is quite simple, it serves to “read”, somehow format files. Obj and display them on the screen of the PSP. Not as lines corresponding to the code of the file, of course, but as a 3D image, the. Obj being a standard in 3D modeling.
Also the author he provided with his homebrew, 6 obj files to show what Lua is capable, although it is a programming language yet simple enough for beginners and especially, as too “basic” . This ranges from simple cube gigantic elephant through a pretty bow and a strange ship.
Wave’s Loader 3D could therefore be used in future projects of developers, but it shows pending 3D on PSP is accessible to all.

Multiple playable characters were rumoured by gaming site Kotaku in October 2011 - before GTA V's debut trailer on 2 November 2011 - claiming to have heard it from several sources. They also tipped an LA setting, which turned out to be true. We speculated the same in our predictions piece during September 2011.
The evidence doesn't disprove such a theory, with certain characters appearing multiple times across the official screenshots and trailer. The key figure is Ned Luke, the middle-aged man who (almost certainly) narrates the trailer. However, there's at least two other prominent figures, who might all be linked by the jewel heist seen in the trailer. It could be a trigger scene, shared by all the key characters, before the game splits to tell the story from different perspectives.
The leaked 'Rush' casting call features a character called Miguel Gonzalez, a 25-year-old, young Mexican American FBI agent, caught between a few mob bosses, who's 'very clean cut'. He'd be an ideal foil to Ned Luke's (presumed) semi-reformed gangster, allowing us to see the law from both sides. There's a Hispanic character of a similar age who appears in a number of screens.
There's also an African American character who appears several times, implying at least three key protagonists - and they're all part of the jewel heist.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified - Vita's debut CoD game - will not contain the fan-favourite Zombies mode.
Activision rep Dan Amrich confirmed as much in a statement suggesting Zombies' omission was for a "decent reason" - the prioritization of multiplayer."That makes sense to me," said Amrich. "This is the first Call of Duty game on Vita, and it needs to deliver on its core strengths - arguably, multiplayer gaming with twin-stick controls in a portable format. That's the core experience, and that simply needs to come first.
"There's always a list of things you want to do and things you need to do, and at the end of the day, realistic goals are the ones that people actually attain."
Declassified hasn't made the best of first impressions, and this news will not be welcomed.
"Declassified will offer a Hostiles Mode, which challenges you to defeat waves of enemies, but alas, those enemies are not shambling corpses," added Amrich.
Decent enough reason, readers?

Here's your first look at a new adventure platform game coming to PlayStation Network "soon".
It's called Planet in Distress, and is developer Might and Delight's first game after nearly two years of development. While studio co-founder Jakob Tuchten revealed surprisingly little in his lengthyannouncement, the debut trailer below reveals the main protagonist, a little boy, and his key skill - the ability to float through the air via self-deployed beams of light.
Both Tuchten and the trailer also reveal that the game will have a normal and a hard mode, the latter of which removes emphasis from things like story or pleasing aesthetics, and focuses squarely on kicking your arse.
Planet in Distress will release on PSN "soon".

Joe Danger 2 will launch on PS3 in Europe and Australia next Wednesday, October 10.
Priced at £9.99 / €12.99, the PS3 version will offer players "a huge exclusive DLC pack of bonus content", according to Sean Murray, MD at developer Hello Games."The sad thing is, no one ever got to play this prototype game we now refer to as 'Joe Danger Gaiden'. It was an alternate Joe Danger for the true fan, and I still play it every now and then," he told the PS Blog.
"When we came to make the PS3 version of Joe Danger 2, I thought it would be a great opportunity to let our original fans play this unseen version.
"So what is it? Well, it's a complete game that takes easily ten hours to complete. Many of the levels will be familiar to fans of the original, and others are experiments that we loved but were too challenging or quirky for the main game.
"We've gone back and added all the cool new things from Joe Danger 2, like Pro Medals, Ghosts, new leaderboards and hidden challenges where you become a monkey on a jetpack!"
More new features and tweaks for Joe Danger 2 on PS3:
- Replays and Youtube Support: What's the point of being the World's Greatest Stuntman, if you can't show your friends? Now you can save, playback and upload to youtube your greatest stunt spectaculars.
- Developer Picks: On Joe Danger 2, you can share your own levels globally online. As well as all the extra content in Joe Danger 2, we're also getting ready some exclusive developer levels which will be ready on launch day!
- Custom Soundtracks: We love the Joe Danger music, but we think we've heard it a few too many times now. Personally we like to listen to eighties rock, while we take over the leaderboards.
- Level Editing: The Sandbox was one of our most popular features. Now that you can share your levels across the globe, we wanted to make the Level Editor even more powerful. Every Friday we'll be picking the 5 best user levels, and highlighting them on our front page.
- Unlocking Joe Danger: If you own the original Joe Danger, then you'll unlock the original Joe and his bike for Joe Danger 2. Then you can play the entire game as him if you want!
- Downloadable Tours: On PlayStation 3 we've created an area which allows us to release new Downloadable content straight into your game. This is where you'll find "Joe Danger Gaiden"! We already have another pack planned in the next month...
- Lots More: We've tried to make everything just a little bit better, from big things like how the leaderboards work, to little things like making one annoying sound a little quieter. If someone has noticed it, we've tried to fix it.
- Hidden Stuff: We couldn't resist putting in some surprises for people who have already played Joe Danger to death. Especially if you 100% completed the game, or think you have gotten all the Pro Medals, you might want to have a another look.http://www.computerandvideogames.com...usive-content/

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock released on PSN for PS3 back in May, so where the hell is the Vita version.
This is the question that exec producer Simon Harris has been apparently been bombarded with by fans, and now he finally brings the good news - it's out next week. The Vita version will go live on PlayStation Store on October 9 in the US and October 10 in Europe.
The Vita version - which, according to Epic, is the first Vita game to run on Unreal Engine 3 - features "re-worked" puzzles to take advantage of the touch screen, along with new Near features, and Cloud saves which lets you load your save files on the PS3 version.

Burn the Rope is coming to PlayStation Vita in North America next month, Ringzero Game Studio tells us. Via the PlayStation Blog, Ringzero announced an October 10 release date for Europe and Australia, along with a €3.99/£3.19 price tag. While Ringzero didn't provide an exact date, the studio porting Big Blue Bubble's iOS hit assures us it's arriving on the North American PS Store in November.
The mobile puzzle game, which came to WiiWare last year, is all about burning as much rope as possible. Once the flame is lit, players can control its direction by rotating the Vita, or by using the touchscreen or backtouch controls. The game includes 172 levels in total, friends' and global leaderboards, and safety seminars about using matches in the home.
