James Peerless has released a new version of the clone of the classic game pacman to the PSP.
--PACMAN V1.2--
Hey everyone, this update is a minor one, but needed badly.
Someone found a glitch with the newly added fruit which allowed you to get TONS of points fairly quickly. In this new version I have removed the fruit glitch and also updated the graphics. You may have noticed in the earlier versions there was random pixels near the edges of all the graphics well, this was due to me using jpegs. All the graphics are now done with bmp's and are all crisp and clear.
have fun.

Its a quiet time of night (infact its 2:30am for me) and so i was wondering whats the best PSP game you have played so far, is it Ridge Racers, Tiger Woods Golf or Fifa or indeed the mass of games that have been released.
Leave a note in the comments about your fave game for the PSP and if so why is it your favourite.
I have 15 PSP Games (all legit too) and i must say that World Tour Soccer is my fave out of all of them.
Whats yours ?

The new v2.00 firmware for the PlayStation Portable will be shipped as standard on European PSP consoles when they arrive on September 1st, a Sony Computer Entertainment representative has confirmed.
The new software adds web browsing, wireless photo sharing and a host of updated features to the console, as well as patching the security hole that allowed homebrew and pirate software to be used on the system.
At present, sample European PSPs are being shipped to reviewers and testers using the 1.52 revision firmware - which patches the security holes, albeit not as thoroughly as the new revision does, but doesn't add any new functionality.
Owners of existing Japanese and US models can update to the new version by downloading a file to their PSP, but European owners won't have to do this, Sony has confirmed; the device will support all of the new functionality straight out of the box.
The PSP is set to launch across Europe on September 1st. Sony has yet to announce what volume of devices it plans to ship to retail for the long-delayed launch.

The internet is rife with storys at the moment, so lets begin, Sony are under pressure from the likes of Nintendo themselves to plug the gaps and stop the Piracy and more worrying for us the Emulation and homebrew scene. The new v2.0 software has plugged every gap that has been exposed by hackers and they have notched up the security even further, so for those on v1.51, v1.52 firmware and if you want to have the hope of running software you must make sure you dont upgrade.
Has Sony finally revealed their killer card, only time will tell but if you have the $$$$ you might be better off sourcing a v1.5 or indeed the fabled v1.0 psp now.

Citing an official press document from Sony's PlayStation Meeting 2005, Capcom asked Internet publications to remove any sign of movies or stills taken from the Resident Evil 5 trailer. According to a company official, the trailer was never to be filmed in the first place and will be aired officially in the near future. No real window of time was given, however.
Those who were lucky enough to catch the wildly popular Japanese trailer were treated to a pretty impressive vision of what the future of Resident Evil looks like. A lone soldier finds himself in a desert town, quite similar to the scenes from Somalia featured in Black Hawk Down. The wavy distortion and haze of the hot climate is a continuing theme. As he searches the city he is startled by a large flock of black birds. The trailer then cuts to a team of undead-like creatures staggering under the bright mid-day sun; soon after, the creatures shadows paint nearby walls, showing they are now running. Soon they close in on the lead character, he spins around to greet them with his sleek, modern pistol and the trailer abruptly ends with the teaser "Biohazard" (known as Resident Evil to the rest of the world.
Be sure to check the official screenshots for scenes from the trailer, but it looks like we'll be waiting -- very impatiently, we might add -- for the official release of the trailer. We speculate this will come before or at the time of the Tokyo Game Show 2005, which takes place in mid-September. Stay tuned.
