Vintage Mega Man Games Rushing To PSN Too

Capcom is celebrating the launch of Mega Man 9 on PlayStation Network… yes really, PlayStation Network. In Japan Mega Man 9 was only released on WiiWare until today.

Capcom is making it up to PlayStation 3 owners with a little contest. People who purchase the Mega Man 9 over PSN will be eligible to win a Mega Man t-shirt or a downloadable version of Rockman: Complete Works, a remake of Mega Man 1, on the PlayStation Store. The contest starts today and runs until July 8.

Currently, the contest is the only way to get Rockman: Complete Works since it’s not available on the PlayStation Store. However, since Capcom created a downloadable version this game will probably go on sale in the game archives collection in the future. Capcom released Perfect Works editions of Mega Man I-VI in Japan. The rest of the games could (probably will?) come to PlayStation Network in the future.
