The PlayStation 4 will go on sale in India on 6th January at a maximum retail price of Rs 39,990 (£390).
The press conference announcement was attended by Kinichiro Hibi, managing director of Sony India; Robert Fisser, vice president of SCEE for Middle East, Africa, Turkey and India, and Atindriya Bose, country manager of PlayStation India.
Only one SKU of the PS4 will be sold in India and it will not bundle the camera or any game. Unlike the PS3, which launched with multiple hard drive variants, the PS4 is only available with a 500 GB hard drive. MCV India has all rhe details.
