Let's face it: you're a busy PS3 owner. You've got plenty of Blu-ray movies to watch, CDs to rip onto your system, photos to upload for slideshows, and 'Net browsing to do. Or perhaps you're just too absorbed in the latest PS3 game to hit the system to worry about all the digital content that's flooding the PSN every Thursday. Well, have no fear -- we'll take care of that for you. Every Thursday, we'll scour the recent updates for those gems that every PS3 owner should have residing on their system.

This week, players were presented with a lot of add-on content, along with an invite to the Home closed beta and an opportunity to become part of the Resistance 2 beta as well. Videos also flooded this week's update, along with Talkman Travel to help you when you go globetrotting. But let's stop wasting time…Here are this week's picks:

Qore Episode 03: August, 2008 ($2.99 Issue, $24.99 Annual Subscription)

While we've been on the fence with Qore, this month's issue is definitely one to check out if you happen to be a shooter fan and an Annual Subscription holder because it will give you access to the Resistance 2 Beta. It also includes some mini-games and features on upcoming games.

Snakeball Team Mode ($1.99)

We dug the release of Snakeball when it came out, and the addition of Team Mode only expands the experience with additional team-based fun. You can't go wrong with this extra for the price.

The Last Guy Behind The Scenes

With tongue planted firmly in cheek, this behind the scenes video gives a quick view at the developers behind The Last Guy, a creative rescue title with maps and monsters. Other videos of note within the update include the latest Dead Space animated feature, Madden NFL 09 videos and E3 trailers of Home, Tomb Raider: Underworld and The Force Unleashed.

We liked all of the wallpapers, but we thought that the Tomb Raider wallpaper was great to showoff some of the action that Lara will face during her game. You should also check out the other wallpapers as well, particularly the third one which shows off many of the game characters.
