What a crappy way to start a Tuesday. The IGN PlayStation Team just sauntered into the office, turned on its PlayStation 3s, and discovered that the network is down. "Use of the PlayStation Network has been suspended," a pop-up states. "Try to sign in again later."

Our immediate response was to go all Lord of the Flies -- Clements has been sacrificed, Roper has made a throne of old boxes, Jeff is blowing in a sea shell, and everyone's calling Greg "Piggy" -- but Sony says the outage is just for "standard maintenance."

The network should be back up soon.
