The PlayStation Network has now passed the 475 million content downloads mark, by a total of 24 million users - 11 million of which reside in the US.
That's according to SCEA boss Jack Tretton, who revealed the statistic on-stage at Sony's E3 press conference, adding that of the 250-plus titles now available on the PlayStation Store, 90 of them were exclusive to the online platform.
Additionally he revealed that Final Fantasy VII - widely hailed as the best ever edition in the Square Enix franchise - would be joining 50 other classic PSOne titles on the Store from today.
He also confirmed that over 6.5 million users were actively engaging in PlayStation Home, 85 per cent of which were return users.
