The controversy over the high price tag for Modern Warfare 2's Stimulus Pack DLC did little to hurt sales apparently, as Activision confirms over a million gamers have downloaded the map pack through PSN.
The $14.99 pack has soared past the milestone breaking PSN records on the way, according to Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling, who Tweeted: "Thanks to the 1 Million+ playstation users who helped the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package break day 1 & week 1 download records on PSN!"
he Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus map pack got off to a storming start on Xbox 360 too. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package shattered Xbox LIVE records as more than one million gamers worldwide downloaded the new map pack from Activision and Infinity Ward in the first 24 hours alone, surpassing the 2.5 million mark within the first week," said the platform holder.
Modern Warfare 2's next DLC pack, the Resurgence Pack, will be released on June 3 for the same $15 or 1200 Microsoft Point price, and will similarly deliver five maps - three new and two from the first Modern Warfare.
