Perhaps while preparing for the launch of Gran Turismo 5, Sony thought about re-releasing MotorToon Grand Prix on PlayStation Network. Before Polyphony Digital became famous for realistic driving games, they made a colorful cartoon racer. Two actually, but only one came overseas.
And it looks like another generation of gamers will get to experience on of Polyphony Digital’s earlier games. MotorToon Grand Prix was just rated by the ESRB for PSP and PlayStation 3, a good sign that it’s on deck for the PlayStation Network’s PlayStation Classics collection.
Crash Team Racing is also on the list, just in case you needed a kart racer or prefer marsupials over anthropomorphic cars.
