The domestic line up of downloadable PsOne games is thin, but it appears that Sony will fill up the store with heavy hitters like Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut.
Both of these games were re-rated by the ESRB as PlayStation 3 and PSP games with Sony Computer Entertainment as the publisher — a good sign that these will be re-released on the PlayStation Store. Spec Ops: Cover Assault, Spec Ops: Ranger Elite, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six also got the same treatment.
So, when will we get these games? The last time we dug up re-rated PsOne games they showed up in the PlayStation Store the same day. However, other games like Suikoden and Castlevania: Chronicles didn’t appear for months.
