Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

SCEE senior vice president Michael Denny has revealed that Gran Turismo 6 will be released on PS3, generating speculation that the game will launch this year.“Look at the games coming out on the PlayStation 3 like The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, GT6 and then on the third-party side of things another fantastic Assassin’s Creed, GTA,” he told Silicon Republic.Even so, that aforementioned speculation is a little premature. The game is most likely to be a dual-format release like Diablo III and, possibly, Watch Dogs, as it would make little sense to launch Sony’s flagship racer on legacy hardware and ignore its next-generation console.But whatever Sony’s plans, GT6 is unlikely to release this year given Polyphony’s track record and PS4′s likely 2014 western launch.
