First awesome Ratchet & Clank PS3 screens

Further rummaging through SCE's US Gamers Day press disk, we've discovered these debut Ratchet & Clank Future screenshots. Aren't they looking colourful?

Packing the experience they earned developing launch title Resistance: Fall of Man, Insomniac's PS3 engine has been completely revamped for Ratchet & Clank. Apparently every weapon in the game is completely new, and Clank himself has some secret gameplay "opportunities" yet to be revealed.

At the moment it's dated for a European release in October. We'll let you know more as soon as we can get ourselves in a room with the game.
