Devil May Cry 4 is a critically acclaimed large scale action that caters to players of both third generation consoles, the Xbox360 and PlayStation3. The book contains every scrap of information and illustration on the characters, both on the heroes' sides and on the villains' side.

There are rough sketches and initial designs on new characters and redesign information on the existing ones. Aside from sketches, the book also contains some high quality CG illustrations to show the end product of the character design processes.

To ensure that the book is thorough, even the sketches and information that have been discarded during the design stages are collected and edited into the archive.
