Dark Souls tops 2.3 million sales

Dark Souls sales have topped 2.36 million worldwide, according to creator From Software.

), the sales figure was revealed at the start of a

Dark Souls 2

press conference.In Japan, where the title is only available on PS3, the game has sold 375,000 copies, while the rest of the world accounted for combined PS3 and Xbox 360 sales of 1.3 million.Add to this 137,000 Japanese sales and 555,000 rest-of-the-world sales for the Prepare To Die edition on PC and PS3 and the total comes to 2,367,000.In a recent Dark Souls 2 interview, producer Yui Tanimura told CVG that From Software has no intention of making the RPG sequel any easier than its famously tough predecessor.
