Burnout developer searching for software engineer to 'implement inter-operation' with PS3
Guildford studio Criterion has begun hiring staff for a new Vita title, according to a job listing.
As reported by Eurogamer, the Burnout developer is looking for a software engineer to be responsible for “optimising and tuning the game resource system for the PS Vita".
Other duties include "interfacing with the game engine with several parts of the Vita OS" and “implementing interoperation between PS3 and Vita”.
Since being uncovered however, the job listing has been amended to omit mention of Vita development, referring instead to “new” platforms.
Criterion has developed games such as the Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and the Burnout series.
