Sony's North American arm has announced the latest batch of games set to be offered free to PS Plus members.
December's PS Plus additions are Borderlands 2 and Grid 2 on PS3, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Urban Trial Freestyle on Vita. The games will be added to the Instant Game Collection throughout December, Sony said.
The company is also offering 40 per cent off the regular price of a PS Plus subscription tomorrow. On Black Friday only, a one year PS Plus membership will cost $29.99.
Sony used this month's PS4 launch to make a number of significant changes to PS Plus. For a start, PS4 owners are required to subscribe in order to play online multiplayer, which isn't the case on PS3 or Vita.
The thinking behind the decision to charge customers for online multiplayer on PS4 was explained to us by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida in June.
