Sony Europe will release "the most terrifying and violent of the Siren games to date" on Blu-ray disc this autumn.
If you haven't got the bandwidth or gigage to be bothered download the whole thing then go for the disc version. That's what we'll be doing. All 12 episodes of the Japanese horror game will be available for around £20. When Sony nails down the date further we'll let you know.
Here's a bit about the game:
The chilling events surrounding Siren Blood Curse take place in the Japanese village of Hanuda, a dark, eerie place, frozen in the 1970s and surrounded by a red sea. A TV crew from America arrive to research and film an exposé on the so-called "Vanished Village" where human sacrifices are rumoured to have taken place.
You, the visitors, discover an ancient curse has been cast upon the town and it is your quest to save the remaining inhabitants. You are being hunted down by the vicious Shibito (living dead) and other terrifying monsters, and if attacked you'll be at risk of deforming in to one of these hideously deformed beasts yourself.
Throughout the game you'll play each of the visitors to the village. The game's unique Sight-Jack System enables you to switch seamlessly between the visions of the hunted (yourself) and the hunter. Meanwhile blood, guts and gore are super-enhanced by amazing graphic effects, an advanced physics engine and shockingly realistic facial animations.
