The ad, unearthed by PlayStation Lifestyle, is for a senior graphics engineer at Bluepoint Games, but cites the new project in its body copy. God Of War HD CollectionIt states: "We are currently bringing a Sony classic to current game systems as well as teaming our technical expertise with an industry leading developer on a next-gen, blockbuster franchise."
Bluepoint Games is the studio responsible for a number of Sony HD upgrades, including the God Of War Collection, Ico & Shadow Of The Colossus Collection and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
It also worked on the Vita version of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and created the game engine used in both the PS3 and Vita versions.
Given its experience with previous HD collections, it seems likely that Bluepoint's job listing is referring to a similar HD collection coming to PlayStation 3 and potentially PlayStation Vita.
A number of other HD collections, not related to Bluepoint, are due for release later this year. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is set for release on September 10 in America and September 13 in Europe.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is also in development at Square Enix, while Sega is working on Wii U HD remakes of Yakuza and Yakuza 2.
