For those who haven't played Battleship before, the object of the game is quite simple. As the player, you place a series of differently-sized ships on a grid any place you like. Then your opponent calls out the coordinates to guess their locations. As both combatants continue to fire off target areas, the match ends when one side's ships have all been found. This exact explanation may not be the best one in the world, but most of you probably have some prior experience with Battleship anyway.
At any rate, this new PSP homebrew release by ABCanG is essentially a PSP version of that old board game. You use the d-pad and X to place your ships, while the triggers are used to rotate them vertically or horizontally. Once the locations have been plotted, X is again used to find your opponents ships on the grid. This particular version has both a CPU and and ADHOC mode of play for fun by yourself or with your buddies. Both the PSP and the game of Battleship have aged over the years, but this doesn't mean this experience is any less engaging than it should be!
