Koei's Samurai Warriors: State of War for the PSP will be arriving in stores March 7. The game will feature 19 playable samurai and ninja characters, Wi-Fi support for up to four players, and the introduction of sub-lords--feudal sidekicks who fight alongside your main character and boost your stats.
Last year's PSP port of Dynasty Warriors received mediocre reviews (Metacritic score: 62) due to its bland environments, frame rate slowdowns, and repetitive combat. However, Koei claims to have fixed the frame rate problem for State of War and has removed the right map bar used in Dynasty Warriors, so that combat mode uses the PSP's full screen width. Any takers?
