If there's one thing the PlayStation 3 needs, it's a downloadable title that has you moving a rectangular block end over end through ruins and such. Thankfully, Creat Studios and Tiki Games are bringing Cuboid to the PlayStation Network to fix this egregious error.
Cuboid Producer Olga Sokolova popped up on the PlayStation Blog this morning to discuss the title that will be available soon for $9.99. The puzzler will have you moving your block from one end of a level to another while using switches, splitters, and more in 66 levels. Each setting -- which will either take place in an ancient temple, a church, or a "mysterious chamber" -- looks like it'll be set on a group of tiles suspended above nothingness. Although the current level count is nothing to scoff at, Sokolova said that premium packs with new levels and a level creator will be available in the future.
"Just so you know, there isn't one single solution for the levels we've designed," Sokolova wrote. "You're free to explore and be as creative as you like. However, there is a master solution that we use to set the initial leaderboard high watermark, and you can always check out the online scoreboard to compare your time and number of moves taken with other players' scores."
