One-man developer, Cold Beam Games, has confirmed an October 19 UK release for the mental PSN shooter, Beat Hazard Ultra.
Out a day earlier in US, BHU is a twin-analogue shooter that analyses any specified tune on your PS3 hard drive and turns the beat into bonkers enemy spawns. Watch a trailer here to what we're talking about.
"Everything you see in the game is dictated by the music in some way, from the firepower of your ship to the number and patterns of enemies coming at you," says the game's one-man developer, Steve Hunt.
In addition to 'Standard play', there are Boss Rush and Survival modes, 23 perks to unlock and 42 in-game challenges that award 14 trophies. It's also got online co-op and competitive multiplayer modes.
Have £6.49 / $9.99 ready for this one, along with some heavy-hitting drum & bass.
