Spelunky dares to explore PS3 and Vita this summer

Spelunky, Mossmouth's diabolically random subterranean platformer/shopkeeper revenge fantasy, is moving from its XBLA home to PS3 and Vita this summer, with "new exclusive features," Sony announced today, also confirming plans to release Limbo on Vita. Developer Derek Yu toldPolygon that the port would be developed by an external studio.

Spelunky was originally released as a freeware PC game, before being made into a dramatically upgraded XBLA game and a series of excellent toys.
