A trio of Sony executives will reportedly deliver a PS4keynote at next month's Tokyo Game Show 2013.
According to Game Jouhou (via Gematsu), the presentation is tentatively titled 'The World PlayStation 4 Creates'. We've checked in with Sony for any further details. Taking place on September 19, the first business day of TGS, the keynote session will be hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Andrew House, senior vice president Masayasu Ito, and Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida.
Tokyo Game Show runs from September 19 to 22. Capcom said last week that it intends to showcase new PS4 online game Deep Down at TGS.
Sony has confirmed a "holiday 2013" PS4 release date in Europe and the US and a PS4 price of £349 / €399 / $399. First party launch titles will include Killzone Shadow Fall, DriveClub and Knack.
Increased research and development expenses related to PS4 were a key driver of the significant operating loss incurred by the PlayStation division during Sony's first financial quarter, the company told investors last week.
However, the company also reiterated that its adoption of third party technology and production capabilities for PS4 mean it won't take the big hit it suffered launching the console's predecessor.
