As if the R-Type franchise's move from a side-scrolling shooter to a turn-based strategy game wasn't intriguing enough, Atlus is giving you another reason to pick up R-Type Command next week -- select retailers will be selling the game along with a free collectable figurine.

GameStop, Amazon, Game Crazy, and a number of other videogame shacks will be packing the R-9 figurine in with the $39.99 game while supplies last.

If you're just joining us, R-Type Command puts you in command of a space fleet through 57 different missions and has you strategically outthink your opponent as you make decoys, assemble your fleet and take advantages of weaknesses.
